I would probably do what this man did. Hearing the little boy's story would make me sad and i would feel bad for him. Especially sense it said his clothes were old and worn so he probably doesn't have any money when i do. I think people are more likely to act this way during this time of year because this is the "season for giving," people feel like they should help out and be extra nice just because it's the holidays. I see myself as a genorous person, but i don't normally give out gifts to everyone. I feel like i should but i just don't i guess. It's mostly because i don't have money for myself to go and buy others gifts, and i don't wanna ask my parents to borrow money because they'll most likely say no.
Yes I would do what the man did. I would do this because it would be nice to lend some one money for a good cause. Yes because its the time of giving. It is always good to give but normally people do it more often at this time. I think i am generous at times. Twice today I gave some one a quater to buy a drink from the vendiong machine. This isn't a big deal but it still helped those people out.
I no that most of was would want to do this but wouldn't, but I am one who would. I don't know how someone could turn down an opportunity like that. To help someone in a time of need especially on a holiday would be so morally rewarding. Yes, I do think the fact that its a holiday confirms ones decision to help charity. A lot of people would do it still but just the point that it wasn't even for the kid, it was for his mom would persuade someone. I would consider myself a generous person because I am too easy to break down when it comes to someone in need. I always wanna help in some way. For example I donate to purple heart every month. I would have done the same thing that the man did just for the fact that it would help the little boy even if it was the last money I had in my wallet.
I would, hes just a little kid and he probibly donesn't have anyone where to or have money. I believe people do things for other people when they don't even know them because they believe in common curticy. About a week ago my dad and i stopped on the side of the road to help some random person out because he was having car troubles. so Ill say no to question #2. I can be giving and generous sometimes. I like to think what goes around comes around and so far ive been having good luck throughout my life. so im going to keep doing what im doing.
I would definately do what the man did, because what the kid said was very heartwarming. Most people would have done the same thing while others stared and laughed at the little boy. Most people are more like Ebenezer Scrooge. If you are like Scrooge, then you wouldn't have helped. I see myself as a generous giving person because I am always in the Christmas spirit. I also care about everyone. An example of this would be giving to the Salvation Army red kettles. Most people that are less fortunate than others need the money to help themselves out in any way.

Yes, i would do what this man would do, even if i needed all the money that i had. I would do this because all the boy is trying to do is make his mother happy tonight before she passes away. That is the cutest thing ever, i would help this boy out in a heartbeat.
I think that it would depend on the person. i don't think that every person would do this because they need their money for the gifts they need to buy. They also might not have a big heart like i do. A lot of people are just ignorant and don't care about other people but themselves. Expecially around this time of year and with our economy, many, many people out there are short on money and to help out a little boy that they don't even know, im sure they wouldn't want to share. Unless it was a person who knew and respected what Christmas was all about.
I think what causes people to do nice things for others is maybe they would feel bad for the young boy and want to help him do that nice thing for his mother. Expecially because it is the season of giving, or it is suppose to be. Many people would be happy to help the young boy, and many people would be greety and keep it for themselves.
Yes, i do see myself as a generous person. I always try to think about other people before i think about myself. And i am always willing to help other people. I love to make people happy. For example at my church they do a coats donation for kids that cannot afford coats or need them very badly, and usually we donate all our old coats to help them out.
Yes I know for a fact I would do what this man did. I would do it because the little boy really wanted to do something nice for his mom but he couldn't afford it. I know I would try doing anything for my mom like that litte boy. No, I wouldn't just react this way if it was only the holiday time. I would do anything for anybody if I could. I am just that kind of person and I would do it even if I don't know them becaue it jus makes me feel good. I do see myself as a generous person because I do give just out of the kindness of my heart. An example is when I was in teh store and I saw something that I though my sister would like and I got it for her. I do thiswith everybody and it makes me feel good inside.

I would do what this man did. Because christmas is the holiday of giving and family, and all this boy wanted to do was buy these shoe's for his sick mother. I think people are more likely to react this way during this time of year. Mainly because its the holidays and lots of people are more cheerful during the holidays. I think what causes people to be nice to people they dont know is how that person abears to them. Just like in the song the man is talking about this boy with old raggedy clothes thats dirty from head to toe. Also hearing the boys story the man probably thought the boy was doing the right thing. i definentaly see myself as a giving person. If someone asks me for help, I will usualy help them. I like to help people and to see people happy. Especialy during the holiday season.
first i would like to say that this is what Christmas is all about giving. This man bought shoes for a little boy who wanted to make Christmas great for his mom if i were the guy i would do the same. i think that people react this way during Christmas and Christmas only because it is a giving holiday. i don't think this is completely true about society because not everybody would this for people in need most people shun others who need help. i personally don't see my self as a giving person. i say this because i have never really been in a situation were i had to do something even remotely close to what this guy did. that is my response to how this song is a giving caring one that should influence many.
Yes I do thnk I would do what this man did. I would do it because he was trying to do something for his sick nother and i think I would have a soft spot for something like that. I do think that people react different at times like this because they get into the Christmas spirit. This is known for the time of giving so people give more than usual.People in this society are usually more greedy or can't afford to give gifts like that to strangers. The season changes people to give more. I do see myself as a generous person because I give to poeple and don't expect anything back. One thing when you give something to someone is you cant expect them to always repay you, you just have to be giving to make yourself feel better. One example of me being generous is in class I always give paper and pencils to people who dont have them, giving can be shown is small amounts as long as the thought is there.
