There are a few destructive effects of fear. If you have fear it can sometimes stay with you forever. With that being that can cause you many problems. I think fear comes from bad experience's from someone's past. For example, my freind is scared of the dark because when she was little everybody left her in a room and turned of all the lights and started screaming. Now her fear is the dark. People can also cause other people to have fear. They could do something to someone that makes that person scared. I thin everyone has a fear of something and it is something we all have to live with.
There are many destructive effects from fear. One being reputation/honor. If our fear causes you to run away, people may call you dishonorable or a coward. These insults can make the fear grow. I think fear comes from your mental processes. If you think to much about the negatives you will develop fear. I know that if I think that all quiz's and tests are hard I develop a fear of failing and I get scared to take the test and I will fail. In society, if something bad happens once, people will assume it will happen all the time; thus becoming scared. So I guess fear can come mostly from your own ignorance and other people.
Fear, everyone has it but some fear is mild and some is very stong. A destructive way of fear is being afraid to ask questions. This is destructive because you might not do it right if you don't ask. Not doing it right will then affect you in a negative way cause you might have broken it. There are a few ways in which you can get Fear it can come from other people or from past experiences. Both of these ways of getting fear are some what connected. Some times past experiences are caused by people. My mom is deathly afraid of snakes. She got this fear one day when her brother found a gardener snake and scared her with it.
Fear can be very destructive to a person's life. If you always live in fear then you will miss out on oppertunities. I belive fears come from past experiences that have gone badly. Or if you have seen something scary happen that can form a fear too. For the longest time i was scared of needles. Getting shots from the doctors was very tramatizing for me. I was scared because my uncle used to tell me horror stories about shots when i was little to tease me. And i ended up taking everything he said to heart. Fears are a good thing in life to have, because then you have something to overcome. But if you never oversome the fear, then it becomes something worse. It would be terrible to live your life in fear.
Destructive effects that fear can have on a person varies. If the fear really gets to someone's head, it can lead to a lot of paranoia and maybe even go as far as being put in a mental institution. Another destructive effect would be that the person in fear can hurt the ones surrounding them. It can make it so they aren't as fun to hang out with or they just aren't themeselves. Fear comes from personal things that you are affraid of. When I was little, my brother told me that there was a big scary bear that would come out at night and if I was outside during the summer it would eat me. So in the summer when we were inside, at about 7 or so I would rush inside into my bedroom. I think that fear comes from other people too. If someone talks about something that they are very affraid of, then you might see their logic and agree with them too. This happened with Joe McCarthy in the 1940's and 1950's. McCarthy believed that there were a lot of communists in the United States and if they stayed in America, then America would become a communist country. People saw the logic in McCarthy's reasoning and so people started to believe him. Overall, fear can come from many sources.
fear can have some destructive problems. like the if any thing happens to the person doing the scaring there is a good chance for roit and other anger actions will break out. fear comes from panic of people. it has happend in the past like with hitler and McCarthy. hitler used fear to control his poeple and make them hate jews like he did. McCarthy used it when he tryied to get ride of communism. that is how fear can affect poeple to make them do what you want.
fear is a natural feeling that all living things have. Some fear spiders some fear hights and darkness. I actually have a fear for chickens. When i was 3 i was attacked by one in a petting zoo. so now i dont eat chickens or eggs. Some say eating them is a way to get back at them. I really don't like to smell touch or even be near chicken and eggs. I do eat stuff made with eggs tho. As long as i can't taste it.
Fear has been a driving force in People and our country. i say this because our country has been threatened many time and because we fear what will happen the government lashes back and goes to war. War is known as a destructive effect of fear it kills thousands and leaves a scar on many. but fear can be good at time like if you accidentally touch the stove while its on your know how much it hurts and fear it happening again. fear come from the brain acting in shock by your blood rushing to your extremities, and your adrenalin rushes, and it seems that time can slow down. many people see clowns as one of there greatest fears because they have either had bad experiences with them, seen a movie, or don't like the way they look this can be a life long scar unless you approach it in order to conquer a fear you must face it with courage. Fear is what can make or brake a person, some people like fear some people hate fear. which one are you?
I think that fear can really be desturctive to one's life. Fear is unstoppable. Everyone fears some thing and no one can escape their fear. Thankfuly some people can overcome their fears, but others can never escape them. For myself, I cant think of something I fear right now, but I was afraid of heights earlier in my life. Another thing about fears is that it is entirely possible for someone to have more then one thing their affraid of. Some people have fears some people think are wierd and others have fears that are very simple. Some fears have these long words that are difficult to prenounce. I believe that one's fears come from past experiences. For instance someone could have something happen to them that scares them forever and that person will fear some thing like that for a long time, possible the rest of their life. So fear is all around us, and it is unable to escape. It may be concered, but it will come back.
There are many destructive effects of fear. One effect is the war in Iraq. The U.S is fighting over there because they fear that Iraq will attack them again. I think that fear comes from the subconscious mind. I have personally shown fear subconsciously by being afraid of going into my Grandparent's basement. Another fear from society is that everyone is afraid that we are never getting out of this deficit. Another fear that I have is that I am afraid that every time I go to bed that I won't wake up the next morning. The fears that I have I will just have to live with.

Fear can be beneficial, like im afraid of getting bad grades, which helps me try harder. fear can also have a negative affect. for fear can caws panic witch can complicate things. for example if theres a fire and everybodst trying to run out of the building as fast as they can it can cause some big problems. this happened at a night club some years back and people died. another example if i get real scared or nervice i cant do anything as good, like play guitar, or even talk. it also can have a negative affect on society, like the red scare. Fear can come from anything, experiences like wars, other people exaggerating or spreing it, like yellow journalism, ignorance when people dont no what there talking about, or dont now if its bad it can cause fear. for example marijuana when they thought back in the day that it caused people to be violent, kill people, and made African Americans rape white women.
Fear, its something we all have inside us. Not everybodys fear is the same. Some fear can effect you in a positive way and others in a destructive way. Destructive effects can be not being able to do something, or doing something wrong. I think fear comes from our past experiences. Personally my fear is snakes because when i was little i was playing hide and seek and a snake slid across my foot while i was in the garden and the feeling gave me the heebey jeebeys. Other people can give you fears too. Such as when my grandma got in a car accident by sliding off the road from speeding. Now i am learning to drive and i wont go over the speed limit because i am afraid to slide off the road. We all have fear in us but its something we all have to push past and deal with.
Fear can be destructive. The effect of a fear can be different for everyone. It all depends on how afraid you are of something. A fear is something you can get over, but that doesn't mean you will. I believe that fears can come from many things. Past experiences can definitely make you develop a fear. I don't think that's the only way to get a fear though. I have a friend that has convinced himself that he is afraid of spiders. He was never afraid of spiders until I told him that someday he would be. I know that sounds odd, but it happened. I think the development of a fear can be all in your head. If you have a bad memory of something that has happened to you, and someone does something to rememind you of that memory, I think that can make you fear something. No one is fearless. And not everyone is afraid of the same things.
Fear can mean two things. Learning lessons, or holding back. If fear is present in a positive way, then you are avoiding trouble or chaos. If fear is negative at the time, then you are holding back from experiencing something you probably should. Fear can come from a persons nature or what other people may lead them to believe. Fear is not something that should hold you back. Personally, I feel the best way to overcome fear is to face it. Bravery needs to overcome fear, and if you end up in trouble because you didn't hold back then there was a lesson learned. People who are ignorant usually allow fear to dictate what they do. It may be scary... just close your eyes, everything will be okay.
Fear is a response to a stimulus that can be at times more often than not, traumatizing. Fear comes mostly from other people. You learn to put certain faces with and experiences with the emotion. In my experience, fear is something that can eventually whither away. As you grow older or if you pair another emotion, most likely a happier one, to the stimulus, fear can be eliminated or overruled. Sometimes the experience i exhilarating s so terrifying that people repress the memory and try to forget it because it can cause mental damage to your health. It can take over you and in some cases rule your life. But thats when you learn new ways to cope with it. You find ways to enjoy fear, like a haunted house. Either way fear is a dangerous thing, but it can also be good for you in an exciting way.
Although fear can have beneficial effects on an individual, what are some likely destructive effects? Where does fear come from? Past experiences? Other people? Ignorance? Use examples from your personal life or from society.
I think one destructive thing that fear can do to an individual is that it can sometimes get so bad that gets inside their head and they won't do the something that they are fearful of. fear comes from past experiances that aren't very good experiances. Also, one persons fear can also rub off on other people and cause them fear as well. You may also be fearful of embaressment and thats a big one. One example of fear could be someone that is deathly afraid of heights. A person like that is going to also be afraid of rollercoasters because of the height issue. They won't do somthing as fun as a rollercoaster because of their fear of heights. Fear is one little thing but it can live with you for your whole life.
woops, i didnt mean to put that in the top, i just always do that so i can see the questions and i forgot to delete it this time sorry.
some of the destructive effects that fear has on some people can effect their decisions in life. If someone is offered a free trip to go skiing in the mountains with their friends and they are terrified of heights, they might choose not to go. This person may have just never liked heights like me or they could have had a bad experience with heights. I have one extremely bad experience with riding in the back of a tractor with a metal roof on it. This past year, my family went to a family camp called SpringHill in Evart, MI. They have tractors that take people around the camp. One day, after swimming in the wavepool, me, brett leist, and my family decide to take a trolly (one of the tractors) back to camp. The driver was going a little fast, so we figured, cool we're going to get back to camp faster. Man were we wrong. While going around one of the turns, the metal roof on the trolly hits a tree and breaks, hitting and cutting people on its way down. The roof came down backwards. My friend brett, luckily, moved to the front of the trolly to go flirt with some cute russian girl we had spotted. I got hit on the head with a metal bar, so i grabbed a little kid and jumped on top of him, protecting the little kid. One of the guys at the trolly cracked 3 vertebra on the back of his neck and had to get airrushed to the nearest hospital. Luckily, nobody in my family was hurt. I have been terrified to ride those trollys ever since.
0There are many destructive effects from fear. One effect is that many people coould get tried as a konuminess and get jailed Like in Good Night and Good luck the movie where whatching in class. Another is people might attack other people.Thirdly people may not stand up for what they belive in or what they think is right. Fear comes from an insucered tought. A past expirence for me was when i was at Ceader Point and wouldnt ride the dragstore because of how fast at tall it was.Fear can have some destructive effects.
There are many benificial effects of fear but there are also many bad effects. Fear can stop you from reaching your full potential. One of my coaches favorite quotes is dont be afraid of greatness and this ties in because fear can stop tou from accomplishing what your full potential will let you. Fear can come from bad experiences but it can also come from lack of experience. When you dont know whta something is going to turn out like then you will be more afraid to persue that activity. Other people also have effects on fear because you can look at what they have done and shy away also. When someone else fails you may be discouraged becuase of what they did and you wont know what you can accomplish. An example from real life is when my coach talks about fear he says you cant be afraid of greatness. This ties in hockey sometimes people dont bite in and get the full benifits where if you are not afraid you can go out and reach your full potential.
