Three advantages of living in the time of puritans would be little to no crime, less to worry about, and discrimination. There wouldn't be a lot of crime because of the stick rules they have in the puritan towns. People there have strick rules and policies. Every day entails the same general things. Their would be less to worry about because there wasn't much to do aside form the regular. The main thing to worry about was to not miss church or something like that. Also there would definentaly be less descrimination because everyone in a puritan town lives by the same standards. So that eliminates almost everything that you could be discriminated against. But just as well of advantages there is disadvantages. Some disadvatages would be mainly as a kid I think. Because the children in these puritan towns could only speak when spoken to. They couldn't speak freely about what they wanted. Also the children couldnt make eye contact with the adults. So for a child in these town life wasn't that great. another thing would be the stick rules and policies. A person doesn't have much freedom to express themselves in the puritan world.

I don't think i would really like to live in the 1600's. One reason is their would be no vehicals so probibly no driving, all walking. Probibly not any of the little things like running hot water or stores. Lastly for the disadvantages would have to worry about being accused of being a witch. Advantages would be tell people your neighbor is doing witchcraft and get them killed if you don't like them. Another would be getting land off your neighbor that you got killed for being a witch. lastly would probibly be the entertainment of seeing if there were actual real witches. Over all i would not want to live in the 1600's because of the witch hunts and the possibiblity of being killed for something thats not true.

Three advantages in living in the late 1600s is everything is simpler. Like they probably didn't have hard math classes like algebra 2 or trig. Everything was just the basis of what you needed to know and that was it. Another advantage would be there would probably be no big drugs like pot or anything that people could pressure you into. And the last thing that would be an advantage of living in this time era would be the fact that it was so easy to get what you wanted. You could just accuse someone of being a witch that you didn't like and you would get your way. There was no questions asked. One disadvantage would be that there isn't any electronics. I don't know what i would do when i get bored if there were no tv or ipod. Another disadvantage would be if someone didn't like you then they could just accuse you of being a witch and you would get killed. Lastly, another disadvantage would be that everyone is living strictly to the bible. I'm not very religious so to have to live off of what everyone's interpretation of the bible is, would be very boring. It would pretty much just set up what was right and wrong and their was no other option. Overall i would never want to live in this era because honestly, without electronics i'd be so extreamly bored. Whenever i'm bored i play my guitar, (which has to be hooked up to an amp) or listen to my ipod or watch tv and so on. If i didn't have any of those things, i wouldn't know how to go on with just doing regular stuff. What would i do for fun then? Throw rocks at the ground? haha. It would be just terrible to live in that era.

living in the 1600s would be intresting. some advantage would be less people so no techongly to be in the way. would be fun to learn how to fight with medevil wepons. also a different type of life style to live in would be intresting. some bad things would be being accused of bieng a witch. also no techongly so i think it would drive me crazy a bit. last thing would be unable to look people in the eyes since im a a kid. overall i think that i would like to live there i think it would be fun living in a different era. that is why i would like to live in the 1600s.

the puritans were probably one of the strictest groups of people i have ever met and would have hated to be born in that time. there can be advantages tho one of those advantages are you are disciplined which mean you should be a respectful kid. another advantage is that there are no crimes, you can live worry-less. one more is you shouldn't have a busy schedule sense you have to do the same things depending on what day it is.there are bad things of course because if you know anything about them you know what there like. i said that discipline is an advantage but it means getting hit and beat to get that way which means it is also a disadvantage. another disadvantage is how you have to believe in there religion even if you strongly dis-believe it. one more reason is that they make you go to church other wise they shun you and or kill you,not to good. what i think of this period is that this period of time completely sucks who would seriously want to live in the 1600's they would have to be crazy.

ONe advantage of living during this time would be the stricness of the people. With that being there probably wouldn't be as much violence going on. Another would be technology. THey had what they needed to live with. I think the technology would just ruin the way they lived. ONe more advantage would be the dicipline of the children. Children in those days stayed in order because they KNew they would get diciplined. There are also some disadvantages of this time. One would be the religion. They all had to follow the same religion. I think you should be able to follow what ever religion you want to. Another would be many people were accused of which craft in these days. I don't think I would like to like during this time period. I don't think the people then had as much freedom and I wouldn't be able to handle that.

If you were a Puritan back in the 1600's, you had many advantages. One of them would be that the crime rate would be really low. Everybody has the same moral values and therefore people don't dare the law and question it's abilities. Another advantage would be that as a child, you will have high moral values such as respect and curtisey. You basically have to respect your elders, or at least try and show it. Lastly, an advantage of living back then would be that you probaly know a lot of people. I have come to know that many people who belong to churches get to know eachother and bonds form between people. Along with the advantages, there are some disadvantages. I would hate being told what to do so much and I would have no freedom to talk. I love to talk and act how I want but I couldn't back then. A second reason is that the rules were so strict and you had to follow them. These days, I get a lot of fun out of slightly bending the rules and it would be weird acting like I go to a military school. Also, you have to go to church a lot. Even though I am a Catholic, I don't go to church every weekend but I still know God is with me. I would not like to live in this time period because I think it would be extremely boring. None of the things we have today like some of the sports and games we play were around back then

One advantage of being a puritan would be no discrimination because you all would believe in the same thing. Another advantage would be that you didnt have to go to school for 16 years of your life. You would just learn the basics to live. The last advantage would be that you all knew each other because you had to live close to the church. One disadvantage would be no technology. Another would be that you wouldnt get a say for yourself or you would be killed. Lastly, if you didn't live by the bible you were killed. Overall, i would hate to live as a puritan.

To live in time of the Puritans I think would be enjoyable but fearsome too. One advantage of it would be that back then people were a lot closer to each other. Also, families would be closer and more loving, unlike now-a-days apparently. A third advantage is the strict rules that keep people in line. Not everyone would resort to crime. People had legit values that no one dared to break. But that also led to disadvantages too. One of them is the fact that the if you did break one of their strict rules, you would most likely be killed. Another disadvantage would be that everyone had to follow the same religion or you were practically the antichrist. People lived in fear. Lastly, another huge disadvantage would be no electricity because lets face it, thats pretty much a sad necessity this day and age. But I would still like to have lived in the time of the puritans because I think sometimes people need order. People need harsh discipline because apparently today, some people don't get the point when someone doesn't like what they do. I wouldn't enjoy the part about having no freedom but for some people, having that freedom is too much for them to handle.

There are few advantages to living in the time of the Puritans. Calm living grounds because of little crime, less hassle of worrying all the time, and the children were intensely disciplined. I would not have enjoyed living in this time, because of the obvious disadvantages. It seems as if you could not be a free thinker or do what you want. Everyone within a Puritan town lives by the same standards, and the children in these towns could only speak when spoken to. This would not be an enjoyable way of life. A person cannot express themselves or live by their own desire in the Puritan world. A better life could definitely be lead somewhere else.

There is a couple a advantages of living in the late 1600's. 3 of them are the crime rate is not nearly as high, most people have the same views, and it is a lot more strict. This is because they were strong believers in what they believed in and not many people strayed off that path, this makes the crime rate a lot lower. With people having most of the same views then there will be a lot less contraversy. With people having the same views there wont be many fights and it would make things go smoother. If the people were more strict then it would keep people in line better, not many people will break the rules. When it was more strict it was a big deal to stray off from what others were doing so people followed the rules really well. There area also a couple disadvanteges like lack of technology, you cant have your own values, and there was a big problem with witch craft. With the lack of technology it was harder to communicate and it was harder to travel. If everyone has to have the same values then you will never advance because nothing will ever change, change can also lead to better things. There was a big problem with witches because people were abusing the power to call out someone for being a witch. Say someone wanted some land they can just say they saw them practicing witch craft and they will go to jail immediatly. I do not think I would like to live in this era because there is a lot of change from what I know today. I dont think I could go without the technology and I wouldnt be able to just follow others, I would have to put in my own opinion.

I would not want to live in the time of the Puritans. Three disadvantages of this time period are, as a kid you have to do EVERYTHING right. It seems like you had to be perfect. And if you weren't you would get beaten, with a stick! Second, you HAD to go to church. That's not something I do, and I don't want to. The third thing is the fact that there's wasn't electricity. Plus, you were given a religion and you had to believe in it, and finally in that time period you couldn't express your own opinion. Some advantages to the Puritan times are, There were less things to worry about, everything was really basic, and you would have respectful children! It doesn't seem like a good time. I think I would go insane and tell people that I was a witch!
