Welcome back to those who have been here before and welcome to all the new faces. I promise you an exciting semester that will challenge you and push you to become more independent and self-assured as students.
For this evening, please discuss your goals for this semester and especially this cardmarking. It could be specifically for this class or it could be for all your classes. How will you attain those goals? How will you reward yourself if your goals are obtained and what kind of consequences if they are not obtained? Do not write what you think I want to hear but what you are truly thinking.

My goal for this class is to get a B+ or higher. This will be obtained by blogging everyday. I also will study our vocabulary words a little more than I used to. I will also work harder on my papers and tests. My goals for my other classes are to get them a little better than they are now. To do so I will also work harder in those classes. I do not know what I will treat myself with if this happen. I will probley just get money or go to a good resturant. If it does not then I will have to work even harder next term.
My goal for this term is to get higher then i did last term. Im not gunna really change much because i got a decent grade last term. High then a B would be nice. The changes i will make wuld be studying a little for grammar and vocab quizzes. I believe that those were my major down fall of last term. Also maybe try blogging a little better. Other then that im gunna stay the same really.
My goals for this upcoming semester is to pass the course, because it's required, and also to become a more advanced reader and writer. Also, I would like to become more organized with my class work and school work. I will attain these goals by working harder to memorize my vocabulary and by finding more efficient means of writing. Also, I will become more organized by keeping my class work and my school work seperate, so I know exactly what I have to do for homework. When I attain my goals for this semester not only will my parents be proud of me, but I will be proud of myself. If I do not attain these goals I will have to take summer school, and ruin my summer vacation. Overall, I'm really excited for this upcoming semester, and I am ready to challenge myself to new heights.
My goal for this class is to get higher than a B an to improve on my writing skills. I will attain to these goals by completing the assignments and blogging every single day. If i obtain my goals I will get a BIG pat on the back plus I will be proud of myself. If I do not achieve my goals then I will work harder to achieve them next time. One of my other goals is to study the vocabulary terms more then I already do. To attian this goal I will study every night to get the right defintions inbedded into my head. If I do not obtain this goal then I will have to try a different study method for the future.
This semester i have set new expectations for myself. My goal for this class is to manage an A for as long as possible. To do so, i will need to consistantly blog everyday, arrive on time as much as possible and turn everything in on time. The same goal is held for all of my other classes. This semester i need to obtain a 3.5 throughout. My punishment if i do not stick to this is a loss of all privaledges until i get back to a 3.5. This includes, no car, phone, computer and no plans. My reward for achieveing this is being able to keep all of these. I plan to carry out these new goals and in return set myself up for success.
Last card marking i did not do as well as i hoped. This card marking i am hoping to get a B or higher in all of my classes. i will acquire this goal by spending more time focusing on school work and less time goofing around. Repetition is one way i can help achieve this because once i start, the quality work will get better and better. i can reward myself with two things, one not getting grounded, and two the pleasure of doing well in school. now if i do not reach this goal the chances are i will be grounded for a long time. this is how i plan to keep my school work in check so my future looks brighter.
My goal for this term is to keep up solid grades and turn in every have no missing work. To make sure this happens I have to not forget to blog and study for all my tests. For having good grades my parents usually give me money or do something nice for me so I don't want to miss out on that. Also if my grades go down I probably will see some consequences for these actions. I want to keep up good grades to try and make my overall grade point go up. These goals are achievable so I hope to do good this term.
My goals for this semester in this class woul be to get atleast an A- and to improve my writing. I also hope to stay more focused because I can get easily distracted. If I achieve my goal I will have more confidence in my writing My reward would probably just be my parents being proud of me and also knowing that I achieved my goal. If I don't reach these goals I probably won't get penalized for it but I would be kicking myself because I know I can reach these goals. I just have to stay on top of things and I know I will achieve my goals.

My goal for this class is to get at least a B on my report card. This will happen by me blogging everyday, studying for vocab/grammer quizzes, and turning in all work that needs to be turned in. My goals for my other classes are the same (minus the vocab/grammer quizzes). If my goals are met, I will play computer/videogames until I am tired. If I don't then I will not play on the computer and game systems until I achieve my goals. I will also try to be more organized. There is also the matter of my procrastination. That is the one that I need to work on the most. I hope that it will get better.

As for a lot of people, one of my main goals for the cardmarking is to get an A. My plan to do this is to always do my homework and class assignments. I think it's easy points so if I just do it, then my grade can be easily boosted. Another goal that I will strive to reach is to get better time-management skills. I always tend to put things off until the last minute and even though I get good grades, I think it's a bad habbit that I need to break. These goals apply for both this class and my classes altogether. I don't necessarily reward myself for getting the grades I do. I think you should be expected to do good in school because if you're at school for almost 7 hours a day, why not just make the best of it and do well in school? But if I do get bad grades, I am not happy with myself because I know what I'm capable of I probally didn't push myself hard enought to get it.
My goal for this class is to get an A of course. I will attain this goal by making sure all my homework and classwork is finished on time. I can make sure I study for all my tests and make sure I am well prepared. Also that all my work is done with the most of my effort. I expect myself to make this a goal for all my other classes. I can do so by making sure I have the same expectations done. I probably won't reward myself if these goals are made. I think when your at school you should always try to do your best. If I don't do good in school, then I try not to beat myself up about it but just try better next time.
My main goal for this semester is maintain at least a B in all my classes, expecially in algebra 2. In order to acheive that i will need to study a lot more than i do and not procrastinate doing my work. I plan to try harder than i have been recently, and work hard for good grades. If i dont achieve my goals, the consequences wont be terrible, but i'll feel bad about my self knowing i didnt reach my full potential. If my goals are achieved however, ill have the satisfaction in knowing i tried and pushed myself to be the best i could be :)
this semester i have a few goles i will try to obtain. one is to do every blog and not get detention. i did this a bit last semester and want to try to do better. Another is get 100's on the vocab. i will acheave this by studying and not just before class. Another gole to acheve is to get and A, but id be happy with a b.i will do this buy doing the things stated above. also i will listen in class, take notes that i can read and staying focest.
I have very high expectations for this semester and cardmarking because I didn't do that great on the last one. One of the biggest problems was I didn't do all of my homework so one of my goals for the cardmarking is no missing assignments. With this I think I can achieve a B+ or better in all of my classes. I will do this by studying better for all of my tests. I don't normally reward myself for getting good grades but my mom usually buys me new pads for getting good grades and i don't get taken out of sports. Another thing that I will have to do is do all of my blogs and make sure I know the words for the vocab test. These are my goals and how i plan on obtaining them.
This cardmarking is going to be a blast. My goal in this class will be to get an A. I would love to get a 4.0 this cardmarking/semester. I can obtain this goal by blogging everyday. I can also achieve this goal by working hard on writing good papers. I must also study hard on my vocab. I have to work extra hard to get an A.

This cardmarking, things are going to change for me big time. When I set my mind to something, I will actually try very hard to do it. Like all the vocab quizzes for example. I will get a perfect score every time. If I do not achieve this, then I will study more and more until I do. This semester will be a change for me, I will get an A. You just watch mister Kay, I will be the perfect student.
My goal for this semester is to get at least a B+ in all of my classes. To do this, i plan on having no missing assignments. Also, instead of just getting my homework finished, i will take my time on it and actually understand it. To get higher than a B+ in this class i will need to study my vocabulary words more than i have before. During this semester in this class i want to become a better writer. I want to be able to realize my mistakes in my writing, and fix them. This semester i am going to try hard to achieve my goals.
My goal for the semester is to maintain at least a B+ in each of my classes. Particularly chemistry and geometry which are not my strongest subjects. I can improve my grades deeply by simply studying more and taking my school work more seriously. I plan to spend much more time on papers and hope to receive higher writing grades than I have this past semester to keep a higher grade overall for the marking period.
In this class my goal is to get at least a B+. In the past I have found you are not the easiest grader therefore I must do extra good to achieve that. To help make this goal happen I must put full effort into my assignments. I can also pay more attention in class and be prepared to learn the lesson. If I achieve this goal I will be rewarded by not getting punished by my parents. I will reward myself with something I'm not quite sure yet. If I don't make this goal I will most likely be grounded for a couple weekends and be upset with myself. For my other classes I'm just trying to get nothing lower than a B. Wish me luck (:
welll my goal for the class is to atleast maintain a B or higher in the class. I will do this by turning al my assignments in on time and doing all my class work. Then study for all test and quizes and pass (hopefully) lol. Well i will reward myself by treating myself to the honors of creating a goal and accomplashing it. then if i dont reach my goal at the end of the semester i will punish my self by trying extra hard and working to succeed the need.
My goal for this term is to maintain an A in this class throughout the semester. To do this I will be sure to complete all of my homework and study hard for all of the tests and vocab quizes. I will be very proud of myself if I obtain my goal and that will be very rewarding. If not, then i will have to study all weekend to be sure I know what I am doing in the class.
Absent
My goal for this semester is to emulate my gpa to what it used to be. I used to get better grades and became lazy towards the end of last year and begining of this one. I started to accept lower grades and I am going to dig myself out of this hole. This class in particular, my goal is to keep my head open minded to such ideas as trancedentalism. I like to think outside the box and put into perspective that all people have different views. perhaps I'll get a better Lit final grade as well as i wasnt satisfied with my mid term grade. I also want to find writting techniques through this class that may help me with all of the poetry i've been writting lately. Over all I want to increase my studies so I will be proud of myself and have infinite options of roads to take after high school. I know I can achieve these goals, but it's going to take some elbow grese.
My goals for this semester or card marking is to have my lowest grade be a C for all my classes. I will do this by studying for all tests, turn in all work and if something is missing deal with it ASAP. if i do this goal i will be off grounding and that will be the award all in it's self, if i do not accomplish this goal i will be grounded for much longer.
