Jane Matta I have always been very interesting in photography. Recently, last semester I took a photography class. My perception of photography changed completely. I learned all about photography with film and how to use it. The class taught me all about this that I forgot photography involved. I never knew as much as I thought I knew. And I think that taking that class helped me improve my photography skills and also helped me to realize that it wasn't just all digital.
One thing that I am interested in is reading Mangas(Japanese comic books). In order to be able to read Mangas, you have to read it from right to left. I takes a while to get the hang of reading like that, but it's easy. I am currently reading a Manga based off the show "Naruto". It is about a kid, named Naruto' who lives in a village of ninja called Konohagakure. It is a really good series. If you want to read it go to your nearest public library. Chris Daniels
I never really saw how reading could be fun. I still don't, but some people thinks its fun. Sometimes i ask how is that fun? Usually they can't tell me. They kinda just say it just is or its a really good book. I guess reading is more of a choice and what your intrested about. If your not intrested your not going to like the book. I never really tried reading something i like because my past reading expireances have been really boaring. Which is why i have grow to dislike reading books. Usually the only time i read a book is in class when im called on or doing school work. To this day i still don't know how reading is fun to some. Also does anyone know if turtles make a sound? Kinda like some form of comunication with each other. Also do they hiss? Ive heard they do but im not sure.
Well something that you may not know about me would be that I am interested in art and thing like that but a really random thing would be that I have three middle names. My full name is Taylor Jewell Cynthia Louise Matteson. Jewell wasn't added until after my nana died an before she passed, she wanted my mom to put her maiden name in there which was Jewell and my mom didn't so when nana passed away, my mother put it in there. Cynthia was my mom best friend at the time and louise was a name my mom loved and was also my nanas middle name. This is a very random thin about me not alot o people know about and my friends still can't ever remember it. -Taylor Matteson
Something you may not know about me, hmm. I love to sing and play acoustic guitar. I taught myself to play this past year, and slowly but surely im getting better :). I also love to read, but only if i'm really into the book. Once i pick up a good book its extremely hard for me to put it down. I like just about every genre, but mostly books that are nonfiction.
One thing that people don't know about me is that I used to play basketbal. One reason that I quit basketball is because it was starting to get boring. Most of the time I would't be playing. When I play I wasn't very good. Most of the time I would just pass the ball to someone else. Another reason is because I needed the free time. My grades were droping and I needed to get them back up. Also the basketball team would have practices during the winter break. My family has a tradition of going places for the break and then on New Years having a party and I didn't want to break that.
Something that i find interesting is soccer. not many people know that i like to watch and play soccer because i play football. My all-time favorite soccer team is Real Madrid, for obvious reasons. i like them so much because they have Cristiano Ronaldo on there team. he is one of the highest scorer's in FIFA and in the world cup. i played soccer from kindergarten all the way till Freshmen year, i played in every season from winter to winter indoor and outdoor. this is just a little tid-bit of something you now know about me.

I think that Colorado is a really fun state and there is a lot to do. it is warm so when I snowboard there i can wear a longsleeve shirt or like one day I just wore a t shirt and i was warm. My family takes one to two vacations a year to Colorado and I think they are a lot of fun. There is never a boring season because you can always mountain climb, snowboard, and many other fun things. With the mountains and the snow it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth in my opinion. A couple of my favortite places in Colorado is Breckenridge, Vail, and Coppermountain because there is really good snowboarding and some cool little towns with lots to do. I think Colorado is a cool place and it is where I hope to live at one point.
I always like to do little projects. Only my family really knows this about me. If i'm sitting at home with nothing to do i like to draw, paint, sew, or do other little crafts. The only problem i have with this is i never know what to make. Once i finally do find something to make i can never finish it. I end up getting bored after a while of doing that, so then ill start something else. I rarely finish the little projects i start. Sometimes i don't finish because i get bored or i mess up. One thing i have successfully finished is a bathing suit. Most of the other things i have tried to do have not turned out good. I mainly just like doing little crafts that don't take too much time when i am bored.
somthing that you may not no about me is my love for art. i like all types but i am mostly into drawing, painting, photography, and playing guitar. i have been drawing ever sense i can remember and am pretty good now. i started painting in 08 and am pretty good at painting landscapes and such in oil and acrylic. i just reasinly started getting into photography in the begining of the year. i now have a pretty cool camera and have taken some pretty awesome shots and am getting better all the time. i started playing guitar way back in like 3rd grade and got pretty decent early now i just play casualy and just make up stuff and learn songs now and then just for fun.
I have always had a passion for for high-fashion. Most people talk about how they love Abercrombie, and Hollister, well, I've never been that girl. Ever since I went to Las Vegas, and I saw all the Coach Stores, the Chanel's, the Michael Kors, and the Gucci's, I've been hooked! It's kind of embarrassing I guess, I swear I almost cried the time I got my first Betsey Johnson purse. Also, I can never go shopping with my friends because we don't like the same stores, and they don't get into it like I do. It's kind of weird, but if you just listen the clothes will "talk" to you. I know it's crazy, my friends think I'm insane. In the future, I would like to have an occupation in the fashion field, I mean it doesn't have to be directly related, but just somehow. The biggest dream I have is to be a designer! I know that those are high hopes and somewhat impossible to attain, but I don't know, It's just my crazy dream :)
Well, my secret passion is actually acting. Often times I'm quite at school so people don't really see where it comes from but acting has been my favorite thing in the world since I was little. Whenever I'm acting even if it's just me and my friends messing around things feel a lot easier like I can escape reality and be someone else for a little bit. It's really refreshing.
Many people know i am into cheerleading and gymnastics, but most dont know that im a natural at slalom skiing. Ever since i was a kid i grrew up and saw my brother and dad skiing. They would get up at 6 in the morning on the weekends just to make sure the water was calm. After so many years of being the passenger in the boat instead of behind it i decided to try. I got up my first time trying and it was like me and skiing just kinda clicked. Every time i slolam ski my dad just tells me how amazing it is to watch because i make it look easy. There are other reasons why i like it not just being complimented even though it is quite nice. I love the feeling of balancing my weight and just gliding across the calm water. Its a completely different perspective from being inside the boat or sitting on shore. I hope this summer is actually nice so i can ski more.
Hockey is one of the funnest sports to play and watch. Hockey is most nonstop sport out there. Hockey is a very difficult sport to learn. Not only does it require teamwork, but it requires the ability to skate. I play hockey on the JV prep team here at lakeland. I play on a line with Anthony and Nick Kobak. We currently are in playoffs and hoping to advance to the next round. Next year, i want to be on varsity.
Something interesting about me that EVERYONE always asks me about is the fact that i live about 50 min away from lakeland. I actually like in Bloomfield Hills about 5 min away from the silverdome. I was originally supposed to attend Avondale High School but my parents didnt like the acedemics there and i wanted to go to a high school with a good softball program. So, along with 2 other girls i play softball with, i went to Lakeland.
One thing that poeple probably do not know about me is resently i was really into Interior design. I thought the idea of getting payed to decorate houses would be awesome. I love decorating houses. I love looking at everything once i am done and seeing the changes i have made. I dont know why but i love the feeling i get when i decorate my room or anything.
