How about a current event for today? No entertainment, no sports unless it somehow comes into play with topical events. NO CITE, NO POINTS AND CITE MUST BE IN THE ACTUAL BLOG!
For today, I am going to write about Monica Conyers. If you havent heard, she started to sing during the last council meeting in detroit. She is exactly what is wrong with Detroits city government. They are a bunch of people that dont know anything about what they are doing and what kind of respondsibility that they are obligated to. I was listening to 97.1 the ticket on the radio the other day and she called in. She started to say that she has done a fine job through her years in the council because quote, "I havent costed the city a penny". So what I want to ask her is that its okay to do wrong things, as long as it doesnt cost anybody any money? Apparently it is according to her I guess. She also started to blame the cities struggles on racism. When she said this I sgtarted to get pissed. It seems like we are never going to get away from racial differences. We all complaign about how this stuff goes on, when we arent trying to stop it at all. If we want to put that stuff behind us, then we should stop bringing it up and blaming struggles on redicyulous accusations like that....
Today, a gunman in kilitary gear shot down 15 innocent people in a shooting in Winnenden, Germany. Tim Kretschmer, who is 17 years old, used to attend school in Winnenden,. Among the 15 dead were eight female students, three female teachers, and one male student and they were completely taken by surprise. It started at about 9:45 and lasted a mere two minutes. After that, the police came but he killed someone in a hospital and fled in a car. He killed some other people but was eventually shot in the leg and later died, either by suicide or from the shot. There is no known motive for this and police say almost all shots were headshots. The guns were all part of his fathers gun collection. Undoubtedly, this is a trajedy, but it is good that the shooter was taken care of and is not out there anymore.
My blog for today is going to about a disturbing article about disabled residents being forced to fight each other. Disabled residents were alledgely forced into "Fight Club" at a Texas State School. Several male disabled residents were forced to shove, punch, and strike each other. Instead of taking care of our mentally challanged individuals they are forced to do unthinkable acts. These uncaring employee's should never be allowed to work with people again. Thankfully, someone taped the fighting on a cell phone and turned it over to the police. It's nice to know there are caring people willing to make a stand on something they know is terribly wrong. Abuse and neglect of our mentally challanged should not be tolerated.

Today i will be talking about the most tragic and largest shooting inwhich the state of alabama has witnessed. Today a young 28 year old man by the name of Micheal Mclendons went on a shooting rampage killing 10 innocent people and then himself. Thsi list was found that day in the young mans home, said by the coffee county district attorney. The list included a pilgrams pride plant near enterprise were his mother worked. Among the 10 killed, the mother was one whom suffered death. Police say, his mother had just recently lost her job at the plant along with the shooting. Others in which were contained on the list such as kelleys foods and reliable metal were atttacked by the young man. reporters say that he was an ex-employee here in which he was let off of. Things such as this are what makes and gives society stupid ideas today.
For today I am going to talk about the latest news in Germany. Today their was a massive shooting at a high school in stuggart, Germany. Most of the vistims were female, as their was eight female students shot, 3 female teachers, and one male student. It all happened when Tim Kretchemer of Germany was dressed in militrary uniform and walked into the school in a rampage. The victims were taken completely by surprise and most died with their pens still in hand. The shooting started at 9:45 and lasted about 2 minutes. When the police arrived he fled to a nearby car dealership only to shoot a salesmen and a customer. Police officers dressed in civillian clothes shot the man down and was later found dead. It is unclear if he died because of that or if he commited suicide. This is unbeliaveable and its amazing how peoples life can be taken away for no apparent reason. My current event is from www.wxyz.com. The current event I have choosen is about how a police shot a gunman to death in an ER hospital in Nevada. Suburban Las Vegas police say that a medical patient was shot to death after pulling out a handgun, and ended up pointing it at the police. Police say that the patient pulled the gun saying that he was going to commit suicide, threatening it. The patient refused to drop his weapon, and then pointed it at the police. The patient was shot multipe times from standing police men when the weapon was pointed toward them. After the shooting, the patients family notified the police saying that he was suicidal. During this event, no one else in the hospital was hurt.
Mr. Kay, Today on the freep website, I read about a schools being shut down due to money issues. This scares me a whole lot because it makes me feel like not even places I thought were necessities can stay up. There was a hospital that closed recently because they couldn't afford to stay up, but it is actually revived. See, when I was young, and even now, I think that schools should always be given to us, and if they don't have enough money to keep a school going, it makes me fear what else will be lost. A quick loss of homes, restaurants, stores will come quickly. The more I hear about this recession, the worse it is. Next they will be shutting down water purification plants, food processing plants, everything. Parents are trying to keep this schools going, but I feel it isn't going to help. If a school doesn't have the money to stay on its own, it can't be helped because the government wont just close a school, just because. I really hope this recession turns around quick because I don't want to live without luxuries, but much less, necessities.
I an going to talk about how a plane had to make emergency landing in new york. They said that it was a problem with the engine it had metals dropping from the plane onto homes. the american flight 309 had left New York's laguardia Airport at 8:15 a,m heading for Chicago. The plane was quickly diverted to Kennedy Airport, about 12 miles from LaGuardia. They heard a loud noise that wasnt meant to be and they new something wasnt right. There were no injuries and the plane landed good. there were 88 passagers and 21 minutes into the flight they had to take it down.
I think they need to crack down on drug trade more. Earlier today they found 5 heads of men in ice bins. Each of the heads were found in separate bins under a tree. A few of the bins had threats on them to continue violence. All of the men were a estimated 30-45 years old. The police believe its a gang war for drug trade supremacy. Apparently the heads were found only after a few hours of being severed also.
For the current event my topic is how Obama signed a $410 billion spending bill. He says that it is called and "imperfect" bill. He had also said that "end to the old way of doing business." I feel he means that we need to prefect the way we do our business. "I am signing an imperfect omnibus bill because it's necessary for the ongoing functions of government, but I also view this as a departure point for more far-reaching change." He means that he defiantly wants change in the way we do business. Source http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29632177/
Samantha Casteel 5th hour sorry for the late blogs we just got our comp up and running at the new house.
My current event will be about why a airplane with landing gear problems lands safely. At a Detroit airport a small airplane that was having trouble with their landing gear landed safely. A federal aviation administration spokesmen said that the plane circled Colemen A. Young International Airport on Wednesday. The spokesmen also said their will be a investigation of the accident. The pilot was the only one on the airplane. Also, their were no injuries. I think its amazing how a plane with landing gear problems didn't get in a crash. okay 4 today, i read an article on Cnn.com about a former student at a skool in germany, went back to the skool dressed in military gear went on a shooting spree at the highschool. this was all a suprize, no one new it was coming, most of his victoms were females, and just one male. a teacher actually sacrificed her life, and jumped in front of the bullet. the killing spree lasted only 2 minutes then the shooter: Tim Kretschmer, hijacked a car and crashed it and tried killing more people. then the cops starting to shoot at him, but im guessing he couldnt take it anymore so he killed himself. in germany there was said that this kind of thing isnt unusual this happens every once in awhile. but all in all, atleast some victoms arent dead and were released from the hospital. and the shooter is gone, so the school doesnt have alot to worry about.
On Wednesday Obama signed a imperfect spending bill packed with special projects in order to keep government runnin. He said that this will be the last one. Obama is now trying to regain the high ground after being acused of betraying camaign promisses. He said that from now on he would seek to eliminate projects with no legitimate public purpose. He has proposed that all projects be open for scutiny at all public hearnigs. The future demands that we oporate in a different way then we have in the past. He said that let this mark the end of the old ways.
5th For my current event for today, I am going to write about the cars stolen from a Nebraska Dealership. Today 81 Fords and Toyotas were taken from this dealership. Also three of the dealership executives have gone missing. The estimated loss from these 81 cars is $2.5 billion. Seven of the cars were found at an auto auction in Utah, and an unknown number of cars were found in Arizona. John Childress, a chief deputy county attorney said arrest warrants had been issued for owner Allen Patch, controller Rachel Fait and general manager Rick Covello, who are wanted on suspicion of theft. Childress said Patch and associates were looking to sell the vehicles in auctions. I think that it is almost impossible for these three people to steal 81 cars without being noticed. I don't know how they could have gotten away with such a large theft in that short period of time. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090311/ap_on_re_us/missing_cars
For today's current event I am writing about Terry Sedlacek who shot a priest an Illinois church. Police said that Terry marked the day of the attack as "death day" or "day of death" in a planner found by police. Melton, a church member, said that Winters, the priest, was preaching for a while when the gunman approached him. Winters stopped the session and asked if he could help him. This is when the gunman started firing. Melton and other church members quickly jumped Sedlacek. Sedlacek and others were injured during the quarrel but none to seriously. Sedlacek's .45 caliber weapon jammed after 4 shots this is when he was subdued. It's a shame he had to do this in a church, where families and children might have witnessed this. At least he will be in prison for a long time.
For my current event today, im doing it about the 42 year old women going to prison for embezzlment. Hanan Dallo, a woman convicted of embezzling more than $4 million from a property management firm where she worked. She was sentenced Monday to at least four years in prison. Dallo worked at Southfield-based Hartman & Tyner Inc. She worked as an accountant payable clerk. Prosecutors accused her of participating in a scheme involving phony work orders that was $4.6 million from the company from 2004 to 2007. The guidelines in her case called for a minimum sentence of 30 to 50 months in prison, with the judge having the option of making the computer crime sentence run consecutively to the other sentences.
A teen German gunman killed 15 and then him self. The 17-year-old entered the school in the town of Winnenden at 9:33 a.m. He opened fire, police said. He killed nine students and three teachers, apparently singling out female victims. Eight of the students were girls. All three teachers were girls as well. They said he carried a large caliber pistol and singled out victims at ages from 15-16 years of age. After the blood bath he forced a random driver to take him south to flee police. When passing a police check station he bailed out and hid in an auto dealership. Killing both customer and employer at the shop and then had a shoot out with police. He was hit and then killed himeself.
Bah, this story is about as messed up as the headache I had 3nd hour. No much more, a gunman in Alabama has gone down in infamy as enacting the most deadliest crime in Alabama. So far there is no motives and all of this happened less than half an hour. His name was McLendon, and he was armed with two assault rifles, two semiautomatic weapons, a handgun and a shotgun, and "high-capacity" rounds. He killed his mother before setting the house on fire. He then moved on to the rest of the neighborhood and all hell broke loose. And...there was no reason...something tells me he's going to plead insanity. My thoughts are as obvious as it gets..."WTF?!". Sighs of the times getting bad has long passed and now we're in the symptom phase. Unemployment readily increasing, random senseless crimes, the media is more depressing than "Series of unfortunate events" by Lemony Snicket. All I can do is sigh a hope the future will be different when I graduate.
Mr.Kay, my blog tonight will be about a man who fell over the Niagra River. What really drew my attention to this article was that the man lived, I think it's quite amazing that he did. The article stated that the man had been in the water for 40+ minutes. When the Niagra Parks Plolice had found him. The article also said that he had jumped into the river, which is still ice cold and parshly frozen. I think this realtes to everybodys lives becasue i think people underestimate themselves, leading them to do stuff like this. He was a very fortunate man to be found, resuced, and still live today.
My current event is about the mass killing in Alabama. Ten people were killed by Michael McLendon. This was the worst mass killing in Alabama history. Authorities found list that he had of the people he was going to kill. After he killed the people "who had done him wrong" he committed suicide and shot himself. Micheal was 28 years old. Nobody knows what had set him off to kill all these people.
For tonight I am doing my current event on this teacher that sacrificed her life for a student. This took place today in Germany. The shooter was a kid that went to the school. The shooter killed a dozen people. I think that what the teacher did was very brave. I really hope that one of my teachers would do that for me. It is people that makes the world a better place. That teacher didn't have to go in front of the bullet. I think that we need more people in the world like that.
For today, the bill Obama signed without anybody knowing really caught my eye. I saw this first when I went online. This was a $410 billion spending bill. This is for many things, he says now because he was seen doing it. It is another act to stimulate our economy. Him signing the bill, trying to keep it a secret, really bothered me. I don't think it is necessary for him to go behind our backs. Afterall, America voted him into office which means he has support. He is going to quickly lose this support if he keeps going this way. He wanted to hold it back which can really show a weakness in his part. He might not even trust his own bill because it may fail. I don't if this was the right thing to do or not but he better figure it out.
My article is called "Gunman in Alabama slayings was briefly a police officer". This is a very disturbing story. A man who killed 10 people and injured many more used to be a police officer. He even killed two kids. This is extremely scary, because you honestly can't trust anyone. Police officers are supposed to be someone to help people, however there will always be those who are truly bad inside. This man is responsible for the deadliest crime in Alabama history. He also had many guns. This makes me think that Alabama must make getting guns harder. I believe that we must find ways to prevent terrible events like this from happening. Stricter gun control and doing better checks on police officers should be made. Kristen Pauly 6th hr.
My blog is about at man who went over Niagara Falls and survived. He is one of the few people to ever survive the plunge unprotected, the authorities said. Niagara Falls, Ontario, Fire Chief Lee Smith said the man was seen entering the icy water just above Horseshoe Falls, on the Canadian side. Smith said the guy was in the near-freezing water for over 40 minutes before he was rescued by Niagara Parks Police and Niagara Falls firefighter Todd Brunning. Brunning was tethered to shore and swam about nearly 200 feet into the river and was able to get hold of the man and bring him to shore.Niagara Parks Police wanted to use a helicopter, to attempt a rescue of the man. When that failed, they used the wind from the chopper's rotors to push the man closer to shore. The man did not help in his rescue, but it was not clear whether he was physically unable to or he did not want to. Niagara Falls Fire Capt. Dave Belme said the man was not wearing any clothes when he was rescued, but he added that it's not unexpected for a person to lose things while being washed down the falls. the agencies that train for situations are put to the test about a dozen times a year.
I found something on sex offenders on myspace. In North Carolina, myspace turned over 2,116 convicted north carolina sex offenders. Last year, a law was passed that sex offenders couldnt join any social networking sites. Facebook also has problems with sex offenders, claiming to remove 5,585 of them in may 2008 and january 2009. I think theres still plenty of sex offenders on social networking sites. There not just going to go away over night. Last june, the Texas attorney generals office said it had arrested seven convicted sex offenders who violated their parole conditions by creating myspace profiles.
The current event seemed to be very interesting. It is about a man who fell into the Niagara Falls. This man didnt only fall into the falls he also survived it. On wednesday at about 2:15 pm this man, unidentified, apparently jumped into the frigid water. Officials said this man was in the near freezing water for 40 plus minutes. Firefighter Todd Brunning was tethered to shore and swam about 60 meters into the river and got a hold of the man and bring him to shore. When they rescued the man he was not wearing any clothes but they say it is typical for people to lose them in the rivers strong current. Lee Smith, Niagara Falls Fire Chief, called the rescue amazing. I cant imagine what was going through that guys mind when he jumped into the river, he must have crazy. I would like to find out if he was trying to commit suicide or just for fun. I just thought this story was interesting and I guess unreal.
The oldest sea turtle fossil was found recently in Mexico. They found out that this fossil was over 72 million years old. This turtle belongs belongs to the chelonia family. The previous oldest fossil was 65 million years old and was found in New Jersey. For me it is hard to wrap my mind around something over 3,000 years old let alone 72 mill. This sea turtle was alive during the Cretaceous period. i can hardly believe a turtle lived that long ago. Older than the dinosaurs. This really is a mirical find.
My interesting story i found for this blog is about serect mesaage that was written on the inside of Abraham Lincoln's watch. They say the presdient did not even know about the message that only the watchmaker Jonathan Dillon knew about it. The watch maker was repairing the watch when the first attack of the ciivl war took place, he engraved the historic event and dated it. The message said "Fort Sumpter was attacked by the rebels" and "thank God we have a government." nothing important or anything but very few people have seen or heard about the message. The museum agreed to open the watch after the watch makers great great grandson contacted them and told them about the message. Werid how somethings just get passed down from gernation to gernation it sounds a lot like national treasure if you ask me. The civil war was stared in 1861, that was a long time ago and it now being openned, don;t know why it would have not come out sooner.
For tonight's current event, I went to wxyz.com and searched for the latest news. Recently, there was an emergency landing at a neat by airport. The reason for this emergency landing is still unclear. What they do have is that the captain circled the airport, for about an half hour before deciding to land. As soon as the plan landed the captain jumped out of the plane. He didn't appear to be injured in any way, as well as the passengers on his plane. The captain claimed that the they were experiencing trouble with the landing gear. I don't think anyone should have to do a emergency landing. All of the landing gear, taking off gear, the engine, gas, and everything should all be checked before the take off. It's unsafe to hold passengers on a plane, that could crash at any given time. What could have happened, if the captain did not notice that the landing gear was not properly functioning? there could of been a serious accident. Thankfully, this wasn't the case. I still say that emergency landing's should not be necessarily, if everything was properly checked. All in all, the captain did the right thing, and was thinking of the passengers.
www.cnn.com Katy Byron Wednesday in Germany a gunman dressed in military gear killed 15 people in a shooting. The kids name was Tim Kretschmer, he is 17 years old. This happened in Winnenden, a small town about 12 miles northeast of Stuttgart. A student said,"They were completely taken by surprise. Some of the victims still had their pens in their hands." He was targeting females during the shooting. The shooting at Winnenden school began around 9:45 a.m. and lasted about two minutes. He took of and then stol a car. He carshed the car and ran out. He then went to a cardealer and sopened fire. He was then shot and killed a little after. I think that this is so wrong how people are just going around killing people. If someone has a grudge they go in a rampage. We have to do somthing about it. Chris Reid 6th hour
In Germany a former student of the school out of ne where started shooting. He killed 10 to 15 people. No one knows why di did such a thing. The shooting started at 9 o' clock ang was still going on at 12 o' clock. Students jumped out of windows and locked themselves in classrooms as a former pupil rampaged through a German school with a gun, killing at least a dozen people there Wednesday. Suddenly there were police standing in front of me and told us to run outside quickly," Luisa Santonastaso, 16, said. "At first we didn't know what to do. So first we went to the class and picked up some of our classmates and ran out. Then we heard that someone was inside shooting. Then we also saw a teacher who had blood on his hands because he wanted to help a female teacher who sacrificed herself for a student -- she stood in front of a student to protect her. The guy just entered the classroom and started shooting and a friend of mine was panicking so much that she jumped out of a window. I think she broke her arm. She's in hospital now. Dressed in military gear, the gunman -- identified by police as Tim Kretschmer, 17 -- killed a total of 15 people in two different towns before he died.
The blog i have chosen to write about is the Alabama killer. A 28 year old named Michael McLendon killed at least 10 people in one day. It started at 3:30 pm when Mclendon shot and killed his own mother and burned her house down. Then he traveled 0 miles away and open fired on his uncles porch killing 6 people. On his way to a medal product plant he killed 3 seemingly random victims. At the plant he took his own life. When a sherriff was asked if he believed that Mclendon had the capability of doing this he said no. I think this is important because i think it should help alert us. That if someone is going to kill his whole family theres belief that there should be some warning signs. I cant speak for every murder, but i think this should just increase awareness to those around you.
I'm doing my current event on how a neighbor rushed to save and infant. as the woman walks along her neighbor's porch, where bodies were laying on the blood-covered floor. And then she heard the baby's wail. The infant was covered in blood, but she was crying. The woman said there was blood everywhere. I couldn't tell where the bleeding was coming from. just before that, she had heard the rapid fire of gunshots from her home next door in the Samson neighborhood. 28-year-old Michael McLendon shot dead five people, including two kids, on the front porch of his uncle's home on West Pullum Street.
A gunman is germany killed 15 people on wednesday. He was a teen and this took place in Stuttgart. Tim was 17 and killed many students at Winnenden. Most of the people killed were women because the population of the school was females. There was one teacher who stood in front of her student to take the shot. She had sacrificed herself. What an amazing women to have taken a bullet for her student. This shows true heroism. Many other students jumped from windows of the building. This was a very tragic event. Schools should be taking more safety measures in order to provide security.
On CNN.com I read about a man who jumped off Niagara Falls today at 2:15 pm. He was one of the few to ever survive a plunge unprotected. They don't give any information about the man, like his age etc. But he was in the icy cold water for about 40 minutes before being rescued. They didn't say if it was a suicide attempt or a person just being stupid. I don't really see why someone would want to do that though. So personally I think it could have been a suicide attempt since he jumped unprotected. But, you never know what he was thinking when he made that jump.
Megan Fraser 5th hour http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/03/11/niagara.plunge/index.html The current event I chose for today is a man surviving the plunge over Niagra falls. He was seen jumping in just above horseshoe falls on the Canadian side at about 2:15 pm yesterday. He was in the freezing water for 40 or so minutes before the Niagra Parks Police rescued him. Firefighter Todd Brunning got tied to a 200 foot rope and had to swim after him. The man was not willing to help in the rescue and they wonder if its because he didn't want to or he physically couldn't. When they got there he didn't have any clothes on though. They said it was expected because people often lose their things when falling from that height. They say it is a miracle that he survived and it was because of their quick action. I think that he was stupid to jump in and we should all learn from his mistake.
In the article, "Man with grudge kills 10 in Alabama shooting spree," by Mark Wllheiser, I learned just that. The article, found at http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSTRE52A01D20090312?pageNumber=1&virtualBrandChannel=0, tells of how Michael McLendon killed 10 people over the course of the last two days, making it the worst rampage in Alabama's history. Among the group he killed was his mother, grandmother, uncle, two cousins, and five others including an 18-month-old girl on Tuesday. Police think that he killed them due to grudges he had. Authorites found three lists of people who had wronged him, but strangely enough none of the people who died were on these lists. The 28-year-old lived with his mother, and was armed with two military assault rifles, a handgun, and a shotgun. He fired over 200 rounds and in the process killed a few innocent bystanders. This event is tragic, but on the rise. We have never seen so many mass killings before. A man dressed up as Santa Clause killed nine guests at a Christmas Eve party. In 2007, there was the Virginia Tech shootings. This week in Germany there was a 17-year-old who killed 15 people at his former school before dying in a shootout with police. It is so sad that the world has so much growing evil and killings. Why people think they are justified to kill people blows my mind, and unfortunately there is not much police can do to prevent these from happening, as they are spontaneous generally. In the United States, weapons are easy to purchase for hunting and self defense, and I think we need to tighten the rules on weapons to lower these mass killings that seem to be increasing lately.
For today i am going to talk about something that happened in Alabama. What happened was the deadliest crime in history, you know nothing that big. I guy that actually use to be a cop in Alabama was the one that did it all. First he shot his mothet then he went on a open rampage thoughtout a couple towns. This is something that should put fear into some people because he isn't the only one that would do this i there will probably be more people like this someday. I think that Alabama police should maybe be picked better because as a police officer he learned how to navigate around them i would think. However, they are trying to figue out why he did it so really it might not of been something planned for awhile at all. Or he could of had this idea from day one in when he got the job as a police officer. That just kind of makes you wonder alittle bit, doesn't it? Source:www.cnn.com
In Saturday’s Detroit Free Press, I saw that there is a danger of texting while driving. Nothing new, we all should know not to text or look at texts while driving. Driving requires full attention. While driving, anything can happen in a split second. Texting also requires full attention. You use both or maybe one hand to press buttons and you use both eyes to see what you are typing. No message is more important than keeping your eyes on the road. Presently, 7 states and the District of Columbia have a law prohibiting text messaging while driving. Six states plus D.C. require drivers to use hands free mobile phone devices. It is a shame that we have to make a law to force people to do what we know is common sense. Just put your phone in your pocket and drive.
On tuesday a former police officer terrorized Alabama killing 10 people. Michael McLendon Killed his mother two children and 7 others. Authorities say that he had a brief stand off with police before taking his own life. Investigators said they searched through a phone list and a notebook and could not find any evidence of a hit list. Pryer to this offense McLendon had no criminal record. I find this story unbelievable, It is hard to imagine what this man was thinking when he was doing this terrible crime. To think that this man was a normal person just like any other makes me feel more uneasy around strangers. The man could have went into a school and killed even more innocent people. We most monitor people more closely so this incident doesn't occur again.
I would like to write about how i saw on clickondetroit.com that the jobless rate in michigan is the lowest across the nation. Detroit was centered around one industry and was like a boomtown in the late 1800's. the auto industry was something that sparked a city in to a large urban area. I think as these economies are getting worse, it is bringing everything else down. Everyone knows our economy is struggling and we are all looking for a way for it to get better soon. I think thst detroit is going to need some industry to get us back on the right track. I think that once something gets rolling, it will be like a snowball effect back to prosperity.
the other day this brave seven year old took on a historic surgery. it was to remove a tumor from cancer and took 24 hours! the doctors had to remove and put back six vital organs in order to do the surgery. they had to take to her stomach, pancreas, spleen, liver, small intestine, and large intestine. so far she has recovered well and is going back to her home with her family. she spole to media and she said to anyone wiht a health condidtion to always have hope. i think this little girl was very brave and has a lot of optimisum.
I'm gpoing to write about the meeting between great britains prime minister and Obama. When these two people meet, the president and the prime minister, they are suppose to exchange very special gifts. The prime minister gave the president three priceless gifts. He gave him a pencil holder carved from the Victorian anti-slave ship "HMS Gannet". He also gave him a first addition biography of Winston Churchill. But that's not all...he gave him a framed commissioning paper for the HMS Resolute, a Royal Navy ship that came to symbolize British-American goodwill. These were three gifts that were worth millions of dollars. In return Obama gave the prim minister 25 DVD's. These DVD's included E.T. and Star Wars. A total value of about $185. The other bad part is that in Britain they use a different kind of DVD system. SO they couldnt even play the movies. This shows how stupid Obama is. The people working for him are also a bit on the slow side. They insulted our greatest allies, and that is very bad. Buttttt hey at least we made history by electing a black president. Because now we have shown that race is the only thing that matters, i guess being a little smart and mature has nothing to do with being a president... CNN.com
Okay. Seriously, I don't like these 'current event' blogs. they get annoying when people copy and paste from the thirty OTHER blogs of the SAME topic. WE should have a NO SAME TOPIC SHALL BE PICKED TWICE rule. I'm getting annoyed with the ridiculous fasinization fifth and sixth hour have with DEATH, KILLING, and MURDER. And I thought I was messed up. CAN YOU GUYS THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN KILLING PEOPLE? I guess not.
Here's a current event for you: Did YOU know?: Over a three thirds of the world hate the USA. Why? BECAUSE WE'RE WRONG. We're more obsessed with which celebrity is having plastic surgery and gas prices than worrying about the people we bombed a few years ago. But instead of solving wolrd hunger and insurring 'world peace', we've been busy making OUR lives easier by putting INTERNET on our CELL PHONES. Sure, it's convienient, but COME ON. Learn something, get a job, and get off your lazy BUTTS, America. D:<

i would like to talk about the kid guy who shot up a town i believe yesterday.i would also like to compare it to the german person who also shot up his local town. now in my thoughts, i believe the german government/police officer did the right thing by executing him before he could do any more harm. now, the people in the other town had let an innocent women die. it might be wrong, but i think they should have executed the man, or subdued him before he could do any more harm. me and another kid in first hour were talking about how cray it was that this kid has access to an ASUALT RIFLE. now, believe me, im all for people having their own guns, but thats going way to far. other than what this man did with his, what use do you have for one? NONE. you have NO use for it. i think its crazy how far that man got before he was killed. there is just no answer for this tragedy other than it could have easily have been prevented. so easily. Now i hope the now motherless child can try to live the most normal life he/she could lead. i feel so sorry for the officer, and his now motherless child. I feel so bad for them.
I hope we can put an end to these kinds of outrages everywhere. not by gun control, but if you know Chris Rock, he had the best idea. BULLET CONTROL.

38-year-old Lam Luong Pleaded guilty and wanted the death sentence, but with further questioning decided to plea not guilty. He doesn't speak much English so he has a translator for his court case, but apparently he did not understand that Alabama law requires a trial in a capital murder case even when the defendant pleas guilty. The bodies of the four young children were found from waters off the coasts of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana during a search. That's messed up.
Outside Albuquerque, there had been women's bone excavated unearthed, who were being reported as missing and found to be addicted to drugs and doing prostitutions. And now the police officer is saying they confirmed the identities of the women, therefore it'll be easier in investigation. One day I watched a movie "Taken", which shows a father, who is former CIA agent, going to find his daughter, who got kidnapped by criminal groups, who are believed to sell her as prostitution. Isn't it scary? What we all have to worry about is only going to college, getting jobs. But people who live in those unsecured area or countries even have to be careful of the dangerous factors surrounding them. Then, why wouldn't we be thankful for what we have and what we can do, in such a peaceful place?
A Texas agency is installing videocameras and hiring security officers at a state school for mentally handicapped adults after allegations emerged that workers there staged "fight club" battles among residents. A cell phone containing videos of the abuse at the school was turned over to police last week. Authorities are expecting to file arrest warrants this week. The incidents are believed to have taken place in a school dormitory. The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services said that adding video cameras would increase supervision of night shifts at the school. Seven school employees have been placed on paid leave by the agency. On the videos, the clients didnt seem upset like they are being forced, it was more like hey were being goaded into it. There is voices on that tape of poeple in the back ground laughing and saying haha look at that. No clients are seen crying, upset or injured on the videos. But none of the workers were seen stopping the fighting either.
Recently, a german dressed in kilitary atire shot and killed 15 iniocent civilans in a crul shooting in Winnenden, Germany. Mr. Kay,
For today, I am going to write about Monica Conyers.

Mr. Kay,
My current event is from www.wxyz.com.

Mr. Kay,
Today on the freep website, I read about a schools being shut down due to money issues.

For my current event for today, I am going to write about the cars stolen from a Nebraska Dealership.

Mr.Kay,
my blog tonight will be about a man who fell over the Niagra River.

The current event I chose for today is a man surviving the plunge over Niagra falls.

7-year-old's daring surgery
the other day this brave seven year old took on a historic surgery. it was to remove a tumor from cancer and took 24 hours! the doctors had to remove and put back six vital organs in order to do the surgery. they had to take to her stomach, pancreas, spleen, liver, small intestine, and large intestine. so far she has recovered well and is going back to her home with her family. she spole to media and she said to anyone wiht a health condidtion to always have hope. i think this little girl was very brave and has a lot of optimisum.

Here's a current event for you:
Did YOU know?: Over a three thirds of the world hate the USA.
"We're killing people for no reason, in a country we can't even point to on a map, in the name of a god they invented... and you want to know why the rest of the world hates America? Because we're assholes!"

i would like to talk about the kid guy who shot up a town i believe yesterday.i would also like to compare it to the german person who also shot up his local town. now in my thoughts, i believe the german government/police officer did the right thing by executing him before he could do any more harm. now, the people in the other town had let an innocent women die. it might be wrong, but i think they should have executed the man, or subdued him before he could do any more harm. me and another kid in first hour were talking about how cray it was that this kid has access to an ASUALT RIFLE. now, believe me, im all for people having their own guns, but thats going way to far. other than what this man did with his, what use do you have for one? NONE. you have NO use for it. i think its crazy how far that man got before he was killed. there is just no answer for this tragedy other than it could have easily have been prevented.

Father Accused of Tossing 4 Children Off Bridge
38-year-old Lam Luong Pleaded guilty and wanted the death sentence, but with further questioning decided to plea not guilty. He doesn't speak much English so he has a translator for his court case, but apparently he did not understand that Alabama law requires a trial in a capital murder case even when the defendant pleas guilty. The bodies of the four young children were found from waters off the coasts of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana during a search. That's messed up.

Police identify 2 bodies found in NM desert

Mr.Kay i totaly forgot about the blog last night.
