Cardmarking #6, Day 1

What are Napoleon's ideas about education? How are his ideas important to the ideals of creating a society? How is Squealer able to convince the other animals to accept whatever Napoleon decides? How does this process resemble the ideals of government? Talk about a time when someone, either in your own life or in the world, has convinced you or others to follow someone. How were they able to do so? Was this a good decision on your part?

Napoleon's idea about education is that the younger animals need to learn alot more then the older animals do. He thinks this because they are the next generation and they will live longer than the older ones. His ideas are important because the younger animals are of the next generation and they are going to have to teach the generation after them. I do not remember how Squealer was able to convince the others. Sorry. One time my friend convinced me to make up a weird song and dance and perform it and make fools of ourselves. They were able to convince me by telling me it would be fun. Even though I did not want to do it I decided to give it a try. If was a good decision because it was fun!!!

Napoleon's ideas are that the young animals should learn everything and the older ones should stay the way they are. He thinks this because they are the next generation and they will live longer than the older ones. Since Napoleon is one of the older and wiser animals on the farm, he can teach most of the young ones "the way of the animal." His ideas are important because the younger animals are of the next generation and they are going to have to teach the generation after them. One of the many people that have convinced people for the worst was Adolf Hitler. He had convinced the Germans that the Jewish people were the cause of Germany's loss in WWI. Hitler was able to do so because he was a really great speaker. It definitely not a great decision on his part.

Napolean thinks that he gives the best education. He thinks that once all the baby animals are born that they should come to him and he'll teach them there education. His ideas are creating a smarter society so the animals will all be able to read and write. Squealer is able to convince them by telling them about the humans coming back and seeing how life is with the humans. A time when someone has convinced me to follow someone was when my parents were convincing me to do what my sister has done in life. They did this by telling me the positives and how wonderful her life is now. It took hard work to get there but everything she wanted has happened. Yes, this was a good decision because now it has helped me make decisions for the future.

Napoleon's ideas about education is that they need to be educated young and hearly. His ideas are important to the ideals of creating a society because they want a smart society in which everyone knows how to read and write. Squealer gives a long speech to the other animals using fear of the future to convice the other animals to accpet whatever Napoleon decides. This resembles the ideals of government because the government tells us what we can and cannot do and sometimes uses fear. Everyday there are people peer pressuring me everyday to do stuff. Whether it's for me to go in the lunch line with them or to wait for them at their locker it happens all the time. They used the fact that they would be lonely and sad and I felt bad for them and so I went. It was a good decision because I made them feel no alone in the lunch line.

Napoleon believes education is very important. he also thinks that everybody has the right to it. his ideas are important to creating a new society because you cannot properly operate a society if the people (or animals) are not intelligent. squealer is able to influence the others because of his charisma and he has the intelligence to get them to understand why the reasons are good. this represents the ideals of government because to get a point across, the speaker has to be intelligent and have something about him that makes you want to believe him or her. my father is very good at this. i will always want to buy something silly but then he will give me reasons why i shouldn't buy it. he is very intelligent and in the long run it really helps me because it keeps me from buying silly things.

napoleon believes that animals should learn young to create good habits. i think that it is important to set good habits early in the society. squealer is in my opinion the speaker of the house, he gives all the animals a super long speech to convince the others to accept napoleon. i think that this process will cause conflict in the barn because the pigs and napoleon both want power. a perfect example is Hitler he managed to convince millions to love him. this was definitely a bad idea since he led them into doom. this was how animal farm connects with the world.

Napoleon believes in taking the young and raising them together the way he wants to. He is very strong minded and usually gets what he wants so it has a big effect on the society. Squealer is a good speaker and well respected so people listen to pretty much whatever he says. This is pretty much how most government works; with one figure head and people around him that give support. This is like Nazi germany when everyone followed Hitler because he was a good speaker and had powerful people with him. When people have a way with words they can make anything sound appealing.

Napoleon's idea about education is how the younger animals need to learn the ways of the old animals who have more expierence with things. He seems to believe this because he wants things to be his way. However, his ideas are important because the youngest animals of the farm will someday run things and Napoleon wants it to be okay for them. Once I got caught in a bad situation, and my friend convinced me to stay out past curfew. It is always okay to do your own thing, and not give into what others want you to do. I really understand this now, as last year I thought differently.

Napoleon's ideas on education is that the younger animals need to be paid more attention to. He explains that they are the key to animal future, and they need to raise them right and teach them the way of the animals. Squealer is convinces the other animals to follow what Napoleon says by telling them that what he's doing is necessary. He's telling them that by Napoleon doing this that it's helping the betterment of animal-kind. This process resembles the government by explaining to us that what they are doing will truly help us later on. Now ask yourselves this question, how do we really know that these decisions will help us? My parents taught my family the way of the Church when my brother and I were younger. At first I thought that the Church was a whole and humble constitution until I started seeing the cracks in the seams. They were able to convince us that the Church was honest because we young and susceptible. I don't believe in religion now but I did when I was younger because I didn't know what believing really was.

Napoleon is running the show. It is clear that he has authourity over all of the other animals. He is ordering what the eat, their education, thei jobs on the farm, etc. He is smart when it comes to his decisions on the education of the animals. He says that the younger animals have much more learning to do that the older animals since they are the next wave of animals to call the shots. I think his decision is right because his ideas that back it up are politically correct. I think that Napoleon is doing a good job leading the animals but fear that soon will take advantage of his power and turn on the animals.

Napoleon thinks that education is only for the young. He doesn't believe that older people can learn. His ideas are important to creating a society because he is a leader and needs to have good ideas. Everyone must also like his ideas to have a successful society. To get the other animals to accept ideas Squealer twists the idea around. He tells it in a way that it sounds like it benefits everyone. This represents government because they only tell the good things and they say things in ways that make it seem good. This past year in volleyball i wanted to quit because i hated the varsity coach. But the jv coach, who is my favorite coach, talked to me about it. Sher convinced me to keep playing and just keep working hard, and eventually it will pay off. This was a good decision for me because i love playing volleyball and i shouldn't quit just because of a coach.

Napoleans ideas about education are that the youngsters need to learn alot more since they are younger and not as experienced. His ideals are important to society because it shows this is how most society works. Society always assumes the young ones are the ones that need to learn so they can help their generation. Squealer is able to convince them by reminding them of what they had when the humans were in charge. This also is important to government because we always learn from our past presidents and what we dont want. In my life someone tried to convince me and my cousin that ants were really raisons. They convinced us by making up facts that were really untrue but we were young and didnt know any better. Id say this was a bad decision in my part because i ate an ant when i was little.

Nepolean believes that the young ones should learn the language because the young ones are their future. His ideas are important because when you teach the little ones, you are creating the leaders of the future. Everyone thinks the need to accept his theory. This is because squealer has convinced them if they don't, the humans will come back. This is like government by trying to get people to believe you. One example of this would be Barrack Obama. He has convinced us that he will help us. He has not done such so far.

Napoleon's idea of education is that only he shall teach the younger animals for he is the smartest and the young animals must know more because the next generation will need to be smarter then the current generation. Squealer was able to convince the other animals this by threatening that the humans would come back if he did not teach the animals the way he wanted to. I was convinced one time that windows Vista was going to be the greatest operating system ever to be. But this was not the case because it ended up to be one of the worst microsoft has ever come out with. This wasn't a good decision because I installed it on my computer and it crashed so much it fried the mother board. Next time I won't fall for advertising.
