i thought that The Crucible was a very good play. it would be something that i wouldnt mind reading again/ watching. i think that this is an accurate because even today we still have people taking revenge for some reson. some people will try and accuse people so that way they gain somthing. like durring the red scare the dude us comunism to gain power by telling everyone that america might fall to comunism. this relates to the story by the girl calling out radom name so that way they would not get in trouble.that is why i think it is accrate even after 300 years.

Overall I thought The Crucible was interesting. I liked how there were a lot of twists and turns throughout the acts. The story was also very actiony which I like. This story was acually fun to read in class unlike the others. This story was accurate with the names of the people. It was also acurate with how many people got hung. I would expect this language to be accurate as well. I think that people would have freaked out and that this could have really happened back then.

I really enjoyed this play. I usually don't get into plays but this is one that I did. The whole story line of it was interesting. It was also interesting hearing how the puritans lived. This is accurate because today relates to how it was in the play. Like in the play today we still have people accused for things that go on. I believe this is also accurate because there is always problems going on between people. This was a very interesting play to me and I would read it again.

I surprisingly liked this book. I didn't think i would because of the way they use their language gets boring and confusing to me, but the class discussions really helped me understand. After getting a clear understanding of everything that happened in the book, i thought it was a very good and interesting play. This is still an accurate piece of fiction now because people still do this same thing. They don't blame people of being witches but they do blame people of doing other things to benefit themselves. But we do have a better system of innocent until proven guilty now. Back then they killed people on hearsay. If they heard it from someone then it had to be true. We have a much better system now that gathers a lot more information and evidence. Overall, it is pretty accurate to what happens now.

The Crucible was an ok play to read. I would go see the actally play before watching the movie. It preatty accurate. It was accurate about some names and a morjority of events. Ecapts that the athor age some of the charters and add something to grabation. This book also realts to Macartyism to because they blamed others of being spys. In all cases it still a witch hunt.

I believe the crucible is a very good play. It has a very important message that we should get. We shouldn't blame others for what happens in the world, just accept it and know god has a plan for everything. The red scare would have like the same lesson as the Crucible. This story is very accurate. From what i learned from the movie we watched today, the play is almost exactly what really happened. The only thing that would differ would be the Abigail John Proctor issue.

Comparing it to the video we watched today the auther got the main faxs down pretty well. he only changed a few things to make it more exiting. for one he made the girls older. another is the john Procter and Abigale afaire. this didnt happen in real life but it gave the story more meaning. but he got most of it right.
for example he had alot of real people in it. also the jury was the same and the people getting killed etc.

I think that the Cricible was a very interesting story. I think it was very clever for the author to add in some things that would make the play better. It certainly made the reader more interested in the story like when Proctor had an affair with Abby. One of the things that I liked about the story is you could never tell what was going to happen next because the story would change so much. By doing this he had the readers hanging on the edge of their seats waiting for what would happen next.I believe that with the author adding his own twists he really captured what actually happened about 300 years ago and was pretty accurate. This was a big deal in history and some people would write about it that were there so it was easy so know what was going on. I think it was a good play and really captured what happended in the Salem Witch Trials.

The Crucible was one of the few books i actually liked that i could follow and enjoy. the thing i liked about this book is that it had a lot of "twists" as the book advanced. i think that this book is still a accurate story because of how they kept such a big record on it. also these were the witch trials to end all witch trials. there is no way to tell this story without some point of accuracy due to the face that it was big. even 300 years after if you here Salem you think witch. this was my opinion on the book and how i thought that this was my favorite book of the year.

I thought that The Crucible was a good play/movie. It had a decent story line. This story is accurate because there have been people 300+ years ago that have been accused and got hanged burried in Salem. I beleive that in our society today, most people blame others for something ridiculous over hatred. A few years ago most people were accused of being Communists. Most of them weren't associated with communism.I would just wish that none of what happened in the past happens again.

I think The Crucible was a well though out play. I may not have been completely accurate, but that was possibly for entertainment for the audience. This is not a play I would go and see, but I think it would be pretty good. The play was well put to gether, good information for the Salem Witch trial, and entertaining. So I think this is a nice play. Just not somthing I would pickup and read or watch in my free time of caurse.

I must say, in the beginning of the play, I thought it was very dumb. I was positive that I was going to hate it. I was wrong. It was actually a very good play. It's my favorite thing I have ever read as a requirement for school. The play is very accurate after 300 years because it showed how crazy everyone got about everything, which really happened. Plus the amount of people that got hung/ hanged was close. The things that really happened, and what was written as a play are very similar.

Reading this play was extremely frustrating because all I wanted to do was grab the three little girls and wring them by their little necks. It was ridiculous that they were able to get away with those lies. It was a good play, but I find it very boring because I like stories with a lot more excitement than this. I thought that the way you could so easily relate the play to modern life was very interesting. The author did a great job. Todays court systems are obviously not exactly the same but you could see the meaning behind it all; how they don't like to look like fools and can be easily mislead and too trusting. It was a good play, but not something that really grabbed my attention, just made me angry.

I enjoyed reading The Crucible. It was an example of how things still are today, even thought we may not admit it. In modern times, people still blame others for their actions. Althought today we have better methods of finding the actual facts and punishing properly. There is not as much rumors of witches and the devil looming around. The Crucible warns us of the down sides of McCarthyism. When we look back at our past through stories, we are reminded of valuable lessons learned in the past. All in all, The Crucible was very benefitial for us to read and discuss as a class.

This play to me was 50-50. Some parts i like some i didn't. The beginning and middle were kinda boaring the end was intresting tho. This play is still accurate because its still use in books and plays today. They blame others to get blame of themselves. Also they still use the believe for witchcraft. Over all i did like the play though it was intresting.

My opinion of The Crucible is that it sparks interest. In my eyes i thought the play was better than the actual Salem witch trials. I liked the actual play better because it had more of a story line with the whole affair which kept interest. The crucible also taught some good lessons. One lesson is not to be so quick to point the finger. Another is its better to tell the truth than to lie. With all the people lying in this story it just caused more problems and peoples lives were at risk. All and all the play was better than the actual story.

In my eyes, I think that The Crucible was a very entertaining play. It was filled with a lot of suspense that kept me hooked and it never got that boring. This story is an accurate piece of fiction even 300+ years after the events took place because it teaches us very valuable lessons that would should use today, such as not lieing. We see that when you lie, you get people in a bunch of trouble, like the girls did to Proctor and Rebecca. Also it teaches us to never be affraid to stand up for what you believe in such as Proctor did. Finally it taught us as readers to always follow what your heart says, like Proctor did when he didn't believe in witchcraft. Altogether, The Crucible was a good play and the lessons learned are still used today.

I thought that this play definately had its ups any downs, more ups than down though. There was always something new that would come up and that kept it going, kept it interesting to read about. I think that the play is a very accurate piece of fiction even to this day. Many people still don't want to take the blame for their own problems, so they blame it on other people. Sometimes these problems may be small, and sometimes they may be so big that they affect the person you are blaming's life. People still don't want to take responsibility for their own problems to this day. They would rather blame it on someone else and not have to face the consequences for it. Its amazing how a play written over 300 years ago can still relate to people to this day so easily.

The crucible to say the least was a very reflective play on times now, in the past, and in the play. I wouldn't nesscarly hate watching and or reading this again but more importantly i'd prefer watching it to see the diffrence between book and video. Accusing others to things that where rather illogical, it's happened in the crucible, it's happened in Mccarthyism ,and it's happening today. Whether it be something small or a major accusation. It happened in the red scare when everybody was frightened that we'd fall to mccarthyism. Same as the girls shouting out names and frightening others as to who was a witch. Even today--tho clearly it is not as severe-- illogical accusations are being made daily. In a sense it's just another pert to human nature
