I think that Snowball would have kept the 7 commandaents. They all the animals would still be equal. I think that Snowball would be a better leader because he wanted to kepp things euqal. He wanted to run thingd peacefully. He wanted to have a demcocy. We wanted everybody to be happy. Not only the pigs, but the whole farm.
A SNOWBALL IS ROUND LIKE OUR FAMILY!!
Mr.Kay,
If Snowball had been able to run the farm i think things would have difffrent for the majority of the time but in the end i think it would have ended similar. What i'm trying to say is no matter who the person is, once they are given power, over a long period of time the power gets to them. One main hint that i can think of that lead me to think snowball might have been better was that he wanted everyone to be equal and have no specific leader. But in the long run i know things would have ended the same, it might have taken a longer time to get there but i belive they would have got there. But overall i think Snowball would have been the better leader. He seemed more nice and wasnt all for himself as much as Napolean seemed. For my persuasive slogan i am choosing to say, Sometimes power bings out the worst in us.

I think that the farm would have been better with snowball being the leader. Well not really the leader because i think he believed in all the animals being equal. life would have been easyer for the animals. They wouldnt of had to work so hard. They would of been more warmer in the winter too. They would have had light and heat in their taws. Everyone would of been treated the same and no differently then the other.

Mr. Kay,
I think that Snowball would have run a more everyone together, all equal party. I think that Snowball would have kept the rule, all animals are equal. Yes, I think that the work would have been divided equally, and everybody would have gotten the same amount of food, and everyone would have been happy. I think so, I think he had a more everyone together thing going rather than Napoleon's one man show. I think that most of the animals would have lived longer if Snowball was in control. I think that things would have been much different if Snowball had run things rather than Napoleon. Snowball was always looking out for what would help out the other animals, while Napoleon was only concerned with himself. Snowball's windmill idea was to make the work for the animals minimal and easier, and would give the animals the winter off and more food. He wasn't as in it for the power as he was to making the life on the farm easier. I think that because Orwell wanted to write about the corrupting force of power, he chose for Napoleon to take charge, not Snowball. Napoleon was the pig that was deceitful to all the animals, while Snowball was not like that. Snowball was the war hero in the battle of cowshed because he fought for the freedom of the animals while risking his life. If I were to write a persuasive slogan for Snowball, it would go, "LONG LIVE ANIMAL FARM! LONG LIVE THE EQUALITY BETWEEN ALL ANIMALS! VOTE FOR SNOWBALL!"
I think if Snowball have gotten rid of Napolean I think that it would be different. I think that it would be different because Snowball didn't have alot of ideas that Napolean had and the animals favored Napolean. I don't think Snowball's idea for running will be benefical to the animals. It will stay the same because all the animals liked Napolean like I said before and he was the leader of the farm. I think Snowball would have been a better leader if he just got the other animals attention. I think the reason that all the animals didn't like Snowball as a leader was because he just came right up to them with ideas. A persuasive slogan would be HEY SNOWBALL WANTS TO HELP BUILD A BETTER PLACE.

i think that Snowball would of had the farm undercontrol he was more soft spoken so they would think he was right with a lot of things, with out being forced to believe it was true. on the farm many things would change, they would follow the comandments, and it would be more beneficial to the animals bc they would prolly hav more free time and self expression. napoleon was very mean, and didnt care for the other animals, snowball was none of that. snowball is hero, he fought for himself and the other animals in the battle of cowshed.

I think Snowball running the farm would have been very different in a good way. Snowall wanted more of an equal society. Although Napoleon said this was what he wanted, he turned everything into chaos. Another thing that Snowball would have done was stand by his committment and by what he said. Napoleon kept changing things around in order to benefit himself. Whereas Snowball would have stood up for what the other animals wanted. Snowball would not lie nearly as much either because as we see with Napoleon, he is constantly telling people things that would only help him like how pigs should be getting more food than the others. I think Snowball would have been a much better leader because he wanted the better good for the people and he wanted to hekp improve the farm. Snowball saw life the same way Old Major did; he wanted to oust the humans so the animals could live a better life. His slogan would be... "Truth, Prosperity, and Equality are guaranteed; VOTE FOR SNOWBALL!"

If snowball would have gotten rid of Napoleon things would have turned out much different for the animals. Snowball wanted all animals to be equal and benefit from being able to run their own farm. He would have made sure that all animals were given the same amount of food and made sure when the older animals could no longer work, they would be provided with food and shelter until they died. Things would have definitely been different if Snowball would have been able to implement his ideas. Snowball wanted to build the windmill so that all the animals could have light & heat in their stalls; also he wanted to make machines that would have made all of the animals life's easier. Snowball wanted to have committee's to try to better all aspects of the animals life's. He only wanted the animals to have to work 3 days a week, unlike Napoleon who wanted the animals to work 7 days a week. My slogan would read, "Want a leader that will have equality for all? Snowball will give you that and more!"
I think things would have been completely different if Snowball had taken over and gotten rid of Napoleon. I think Snowball was more of an equal leader that wanted all the animals to live a good life. He also wanted equality for all, and he looked out for the good of the animals. I don't think there would be such a difference in power between the animals in Snowball was in charge. He wanted to help out the animals, for example, by proposing the windmill, which would help them minimize work and make it through the winter. I think Orwell made the choice to put Napoleon in charge becasue of the corruption force of power. It would have not been the same if Snowball was still leading. A good propaganda slogan for Snowball, would be "Vote for equality, vote for honesty, vote for advancement, VOTE FOR SNOWBALL!!"
If Snowball were to of run things instead of Napoleon it would of turned out a lot different. Snowball cared for all the animals and their needs, where as Napoleon only cared about himself and his needs. Snowball looked out for the animals, and loved being a leader instead of a dictator. He came up with the idea of building the windmill. He thought it would have been easier in the winter, so the animals didnt have to work. Because Orwell is writing about the corruption force of power, he made Napoleon the leader on purpose. But,Snowball would have been the better leader for the animal farm.

If snowball got rid of Napoleon. i feel everything would have been different. The seven commandments would still be there. I think boxer would still be alive because he wouldn't of worked himself to death, literally. The ideas in the beginning of the story that snowball had would of been better in the long run for the farm instead of Napoleon's ideas. I don't believe that things would of turned out the same. Snowball would of kept the animalism perspective from the beginning alive. The pigs would have not become the superior race. The farm would of stayed named the animal farm and not changed back to The Manor Farm. The retirement policy would of been enforced and people would have retired at the age they were suppose to and not keep working after that age. Overall i feel everything would have been better and more efficient if snowball had taken command from napoleon.
Snowball Keeps The Equality!
I think snowball would have created more equality. Snowball seemed to put the other needs of the animals in favor. Of course things would have been different. I think the farm would have been more successful in terms of how the other animals besides the pigs mean something to the farm. Yes, the indication of the idea for the windmill. It was an idea that revolved around the animals needs as a whole. I dont think things would have turned out the same, because was portrayed as an animal who even though was more intelligent, he really put ihimself in the other animals shoes. He fought hard at the battle and that showed that he really cared for what he believed in. "Dont let Napoleon bring you to your downfall, to lead our nation, its gotta be Snowball."

I think Snowball would have changed the whole farm if he got rid of Napoleon. I think there would have been different rules and things would be run differently. With Snowball being more open, I think he would have accepted ideas and made life on the farm better. One indicator that proved more beneficial was the windmill idea. Snowball wanted to build to cut down on the animals work they had to put into the farm. It would have helped the farm out and helped the animals out. All in all I think the farm would have been better if Snowball was leading the farm.

I think things would have been a different if Snowball ran the farm instead of Napoleon. Just because Napoleon really seems from the start like he wants to control things. Snowball was more in to actually improving the farm and keeping people happy. I think an indication that he would of been more successful is when he came up with the idea of the windmill. He wanted electricty so there would be less work. That truly showed he cared for the animals best intrest. He just always knew what animalism stood for and he really seemed to care for the animals. "Don't let Napoleon push you around, animalism will always be around"
I think that Snowball woould have kept the"every animal is equal" policy intacked and that there would be more animals involeved in descion making. The difference would be that Snowball would be more involved rather nver to comeout side like Napolean. Well his commities that he made didnt do that well but the windmill would have been great. Snowball would have known how to build it faster and better. I think things would have been better than wat they are now. Snowball would have been a better leader cuz he would have been more for the people. "Snowball for leader, if you vote snowball, things will snowball right into happiness".

Mr. Kay,
I think that if Snowball had gotten rid of Napoleon, the farm would be a different place altogether. He would have kept everything in the interest of the animals and not have been selfish. I think this because of the fact that he never lost his head when politics came into play on the farm. When he was still on the farm and the battle for leader ensued, he never let the possible power go to his head, while Napoleon did. I think that him running wasn't very beneficiary to the others, because then he could have still been there sticking up for the little guy. Also, if Napoleon killed him then he would have proved the point to the other animals that Napoleon is bad. Now after I say all of this, It doesn't completely mean that he never would have become corrupt. I am just saying that it would have been a lot better or it wouldn't happen as soon. We can't really predict that to much. But either way, Snowball is definitely better than Napoleon. A Slogan I could make for his campaign could be, "Snowball is in it for you."

I think Snowball would've done a better job than Napolean did. For one, he would've used the windmill to help the animals like he said he would. Secondly, all animals would be equal instead of the pigs ruling over everybody else. There are many indications that Snowballs ideas would've been better for the animals. For instance: the windmill idea. Snowball wanted to make the windmill to give electricity, warm and cold water, and so on to the animals. Unlike Napolean who just wanted to make the windmill to help gather grain for profit.

I think snowball would of adopted some of characteristics of man but in a more civilized way. He would have electricity for the farm animals and look out for their well being. I think that because of Snowballs personality he would of been kinder even if he were to break some of the commandments and would be more beneficial for the rest of the farm. I would say that Snowball would have been a better choice for the leader of animal farm. This really represents what goes on around the world. It is sad that this happens in other countries, where people are ruled and deprived of basic needs because of a certain power. If I was in the group of animals at the end of the story when Napoleon took total control. I would have revolted against him or leave the farm. "If you vote for me theirs a snowballs chance of going hungry!"

Yes, things would have been very different if Snowball had taken over Animal Farm, rather than Napoleon. Snowball would have kept the commandments, and most importantly would have felt that all animals were equal, and deserved to be equal. Yes, if Snowball's ideas would have benefited the Animal Farm. For example, the idea of the windmill, this was going to make the work for the animals a much more easy process. Snowball didn't want the label that Napoleon wanted, or the power to rule. Snowball was in the running simply because he wanted what was best for all the animals of the farm. Things would have not turned out the same because Snowball and Napoleon were in it for two completely different reasons, wanted different things. One was to dominate, and the other was to keep what they had going, with just improvements for the good of the animals. With Snowball being the better leader, in my opinion, his slogan would go "I DON'T WANT YOU TO FALL, SO VOTE FOR SNOWBALL!"

If Snowball had been able to run the farm i think things would have different for the most part things would be similar in the end. I think that Snowball would have kept the rules. All animals treated the same. I dont think he was as in it for the power. But i think he was to making the life on the farm easier. Things would have been easier around the farm. I think he wanted everyone happy.
"MAKE SNOW BALL YOURS"
If Snowball had been able to run the farm i think things would have different in ways. But i think they would have ended up pretty much the same. I think it would have been benefical to the animals because he wanted everyone to be equal. and didnt really want anyone to bethe leader. Everyones their own leader. I think Snowball overall would have been a better leader for the animals. He was nice and cared about what other people thought. Napolen really only thought for him self.
"You can do it when you Snowball it(:"
I think life for the animals would have been way better if Snowball had gotten rid of Napolean. It would have completely changed the outcome of the story. Snowball would have made sure ALL animals were equal. He also wouldn't have altered the 7 commandments. Snowball would have never started to be like man in the way that Napolean did by walking on two legs, drinking alcohol, wearing clothes etc. Some indications of Snowball being the better candidate for the animals is that he actually cared about them and the future of the Animal Farm. He wanted to ease the workload for the animals by puttin up the windmill and so they could have running water and electric. In no way would things have been the same if Snowball was the leader.

Fist snowball would of tried to help the animals not work that much. Really in the same thing not work as hard. Then he would of made sure everyone could have the same food and everything. Well the windmill idea was good but it was really good because his intentions to go to a 3 day work week.

Had he gotten rid of Napoleon, I think that Snowball would of slowly started to enjoy the power of being the sole leader, just as Napoleon did. Snowball may not have been as cruel to the animals as Napoleon, but I still believe that he would of started thinking more about himself than the other animals. While both he and Napoleon were on the farm, Snowball did not argue with the rise of power the pigs were getting. He did indeed try to organize committees for the animals, fought bravely in the battle of the cowshed as well as other things that helped with the farm, but he still ate the extra apples and milk when the rest of the farm was receiving none. Knowing this, I think that he would have enjoyed getting a little bit more than the rest of the animals, but would not take it to as much of an extreme as Napoleon. He would of still cared about the animals and treated them more fairly, but would have used the power to his advantage to get better food, shelter, and so on than the animals. He would indeed be a better choice than Napoleon if the animals had to choose, but power always seems to slowly wear on people. My slogan to support this point would be, "With leadership comes power, and where there is power, there is corruption as well."

I believe that Snowball would have been a better leader. I think that he would have the animals equal and stress keeping to the comandments. I think things would have been different because he would try to keep the animals equal and try to get them less work such as doing the "three day week". Yes, being passionate about the good the windmill would do for all animals was a great clue that he would be more beneficial to the animals. Also, Snowball was trying to stir revolutions to farms across the country, so he did actually believe in what he said. For him to be stiring revolutions everywhere, he didn't have any plans of taking everywhere. Snowball really did want everyone to be equal and their farm to prosper.

I think if snowball would of gottin rid of napolean then everything would of stayed the same. Everyone would of stayed the same with whos better or higher than who and everyone would be epual. I also believe that snowball would have stayed wit the seven commandments and wouldnt of changed a thing. I think everything would have gottin better for everyone (and not just have a so called leader) and everyone would of stayed equal wit one another.
I think if Snowball was still at the farm he would run things very differently. For starters he probably wouldn't slowly turn the farm into a thing of profit. He would instead keep it equal and let everyone enjoy themselves. They would have turned out more beneficial for everyones goodwill and health. The work ethic might have stayed the same to build the windmill and thats about it. The reason is because Snowball didn't seem selfish or a need for power.
For my propaganda I would probably say "everyone is a snowflake in this ball and we all have to stick together".

I think if Snowball would have gotten rid of Napoleon, animal farm might have been more democratic and equal. I think he wanted to improve the living standard for all of the animals. as he said in his speech the windmill would decrease laboring hours and give warm to the stables and light. Although it is the natural order of things to have a leader. because not all animals or things are going to be equal. and in time a new leader a more agressive one could have risen. Or Snowball might have became more greedy and taken power.

Snowball would do things dramatically different. It even said in the book that the two couldn't agree on ANYTHING! He would've kept voting, the "Beasts Of England" song would've been mandatory, and there would've been electricity for the farm. Specifically for leisure, he wanted to have labor being a ease. To have everyone have fun and free time, the opposite of human rule. He supported the 7 commandments to the letter and hated (or seemed to hate) humans of any affiliation.

If snowball would have gotten rid ofo napoleon i think that the whole society would have been much better off. I think he would have kept it more of a democracy. I think that snowball would have been more beneficial becuase he was all for maintaining as much equality and peace as he could. Not only would it have been more peaceful, but i think he would have left more freedom. I think that snowball would have done a better job with work hours, food, and the overall better living conditions for everyone. I think that with all power comes wanting more of it, like you said. In this case, i think that snowball was very direct and wasnt going to use the people. My slogan for how Snowball would have been a better candidate is, "Stay with snowball, democracy and equality will prevail."
Snowball's potential as a leader was greater than Napeleon's. Their core values for wanting power were different. Napeleon's desire for powere was for himself. He had the need to be powerful at others' expense. Snowball's ideas for the animals was to be self sufficent. They would be ablt to rely on themselves, not the humans. In his mind the windmill was going to be used to help everyone out. Snowball wanted to spread the rebellion to other farms where as Napeleon was just happy with the farm they had. I think that the animals would have much better off if Snowball was their leader. They would have worked less and got more food if they would have had Snowball as their leader. Snowball was interested in the greater good of all animal kind.

I think that Snowball would have run things better on the farm than Napoleon.
Snowball has a better view on how things need to be on the farm to progress it.
The windmill was a good idea but after Napoleon ran Snowball off, he claimed it for his own. If Snowball were in power there wouldn’t be an aura of fear. I think the animals would work together better based on Snowballs ideals. Snowball’s idea to fertilize the land with their dung would have produced more fruitful crops so there would be more to eat. Napoleon didn’t approve of anything that would have helped the crops. Snowball’s idea of the animal committees was a good idea. The purpose was to educate the animals to some degree. Unfortunately, it dismally failed.
“Brave, strong and smart, Comrade snowball will lead us to success!”
Mr. Kay,
I think that snowball would have been a better leader. He would have stayed true to the seven amendments. We all know that he would have given the animals a better deal. He would not have had certain rulers or treat himself better than any other animal. He definately would not have changed the amendments. He would have stuck to them no matter if he agreed or disagreed with them. My slogan is: Snowball is great, better than Napoleon, for he will lead us from now on.

i think that snowball would have kept the 7 commandments. all animals would be equal. i think that snowball should have been the best leader. he would have kept peace in the animal farm. snowball wanted democracy. the pigs should had never gotten leadership.
If snowball would have gotten rid of Napolean things would have been different. Power may corrupt, but some people (or animals) can overcome the change. SNowballl seemed to be more concerned with the animals well being and the ideas Major gave in the beggining. Napolean saw the opportunity to manipulate and take full control. If snowball would have been the leader it would have been equal and happy like thier rebellion was meant to be. Power can corrupt anyone who lets it.
Mikki Nosek
If Snowball had gotten rid of Napoleon things would be much better. Snowball would be the "leader" with squealer at his right hand. Snowball is more loyal to the farm, so I see things turning out better. I bet most everything would be run different and with better production to the farm. Snowball would be a way better leader. He had a ggoal to keep all animals equal, and keep the farms production high. He would not lie behind other animals backs either. Don't fight your troubles with weapons, use a Snowball!
I think that snowball would have changed the farm. Snowball was a more easy going animal I think. He made good plans for the farm and he always did what he thought was best for the farm. He made up the plans for the Windmill so the animals would only have a three day week. He wanted to make life easier for the animals so he came up with the plans of the Windmill. I don't think that he would have changed the commandments and have killed all the animals Napoleon did. So as a whole I think he would have made a better leader for the farm. And slogan I thought of is, " A vote for Snowball is a vote for equality on Animal Farm".

snowball would not have ruined anything if he had gotten rid of Napoleon except for Napoleons plans to take over the farm.i think Snowball whould have been a better leader. i don't think so much corruption would have occured on the farm. he was more peaceful and willing to agree with the animals more than Napoleon was. there might have been a little superiority he would take but i don't think he would abuse his power. so things wouldnt be the same. they probably have been more fair for everyone and the pigs woldn't have held so much power. slowly napoleon made the other animals trust him by having Squealer convince them and then suddenly took complete charge. the pigs ended up doing everything they said must never happen to Animal Farm. Snowball would have run things differently that Napoleon because he would have stuck to Major's plan and the seven commandments. Even though he made committees he never stopped the animals from voicing their opinion and wouldn't turn the dogs on them. I don't think he has the same evil mind that napoleon does. The indications that it would be better for the animals is that they were all happy at first until napoleon took over and that made everything go wrong. i don't think things would turn out the same, they might start to become a little bit like humans but all together and not going crazy like napoleon did. I think power doesn't corrupt if you don't let it. If one person is ultimately in charge like Napoleon was then that will happen but Snowball wouldn't be the only one in charge. They would still have meetings as a group. All animals are equal.
My persuasive slogan is "Vote Snowball for Freedom and Equality!"
Snowball is has different beliefs than Napolean and are obvious throughout thebook. With this, we know that things would have been different do to Snowballs more equal beliefs. Where Napolean on the other hand felt the correct way to run things was his way. Overall i feel that if Snowball were to stay and lead the farm, all of the animals minds would be centered to what they though they planed on doing first by following old majors plans. But instead it was lead as a one persson dictaorship.
IF YOU WANT EQUALITY FOR ALL, DO THE CORRECT THING AND SUPPORT SNOWBALL!!!!!!!
I think Snowball would of stayed true to his word, and stood more for equality. He wouldn't of let things change or let there be anything but fairness. Snowball wanted the best for the farm. He thought the windmill would provide necessary things for the farm to run. Things wouldnt have turned out the same because Napoleon kept wanting more and more power. Snowball was there for the animals, not something that wanted what was best for himself. He cared to listen to others and he cared about he other animals. It was the animals fault they chose napoleon. "Live for equality, or die a slave". Thats the slogan Snowball would have.

I think snowballs methods of running the farm would have been more manipulative. While Napoleon runs the farm on intimidation i think snowball would have tried to to trick the animals even more than the already have. I think that snowball wanted to build the windmill to make money because he was greedy. I don't think his or any of the pigs thought process was right or benefitted any of the animals in any way. "Snowball is a conniving pig". Snowball was a good speaker and manipulated the animals to do what he wanted. If you want to be told what to do just like when jones was here let Snowball lead you.

If snowball had run things i think the whole farm would be different. Everyone would be treated equally, no one would be getting milk and sugarand beer while everyone else was working. Also more things would get done because the dogs and the pigs would be doing work too. I think that snowball would be a great leader because he wouldnt let the power get to his head. He would of kept the 7 commandments, he would have not dranken the whiskey, He would be like a parent to all the animals.
"Snowball..... The best for everyone."
I think that snowball may have run things a bit different. I think that he would have taken more contol over sertain thihngs but let the animals decide on other things. I think that things would have been a little different. If snowball ran animal farm I think that it would have been a bit more benificial to the animals. I think that snowball would have had more meetings and debates on certain things. He like to debate and convice them things. I thnk that snowball would have been a beter leader. He was more abou the animals and thought of things that would benifit them. His ideas for the windmill would have benifited the animals. he also tried to help them become more equal by creating programs. He created a reading and writing program to benifit the animals. Napolean never did such a thing and cared more about himself.

i believe snowball, under the same conditions, with the power available, could have potentially done the same thing. but, with him being the better guy, i think he would have tried to lead a democracy, instead of the totalitarian/dictatorship. either way, without the humans, i do see that it would be impossible to go without them forever, and continue trying to do what they are doing. i believe snowball could have been better, but it could have easily been written to be untrue. based on his thinking logic we can see, overall, he would have lead a far more decent pace to get things done, for there was no rush. the food would have been rationed better, partly because they would have been spending more time on what they needed more. because wasting your time on something that was unnecessary, or unlawful for them to do, would have stopped.
this seems to allude itself to the fact about how maybe the russian wer building some war machines, that were probably against the united nations, like nukes. but that’s a far shot.
"with our Leader snowball, we shall stay true to the teachings of old major, and wash away what napoleon has brought in, which, wuite frankly, is a load of hogwash."
in the end, i believe snowball could have formed a better manor farm. or animal farm, that it is.
i think snowball would have been much better than napolean. I think this because he was much smarter and more intelligent than napolean. He would have made things better because he would have created a more easy flowing in the economy and would have kept everything fair. He would have also followed the rules and not break them like napolean. I don't think he would have killed anyone either. He would have listened and responded to others instead of silenceing everyone. Also napolean was a big liar. He never did anything for the good of the people. This is a trait opposite from snowball. He was out to help.

I believe the basic root of the corrupted force in socialism countires is on its system itself. The ideological idea of socialism is "everyone be equal". But how can it be? Even from the point that socialism starts in a country, there becomes one who "leads" the revolution, which tells us the end of basic idea of socialism. Therefore, even Snowball had gotten rid of Napoleon, the dreamed day wouldn't have come that everyone is equal. Despite of the fact, the situation might have been better. Snowball had presented, unlike other pigs, projects beneficial to the most of the animals such as teaching letters, and windmill construction. Besides, when the milk was gone after the animals got back from work, Snowball was not with Napoleon, who said he will take care of the milk. Even if the country was officially led to a monarchy, which obviously is now with Napoleon, with Snowball, it might have been more peaceful and approaching to the idea of socialism as possible.
Intelligence! Honesty! Snowball is ready to grow up the farm like a snowball!
I think that Snowball would have run things more equaly and bring everyone together as one party. I think that Snowball would have kept the rule, all animals are equal. I also beleive that the work would have been divided equally, and everybody would have get the same amount of food, and everyone would have been very happy. I think he also had a way of bringing everyone together, unlike Napoleon's one man show. I think that most of the animals would have lived longer if Snowball were in control. Snowball rules, Napoleon drools, He doesn't got what Snowballs got.
