For this evening, choose from one of the following and relate it to what you think it means, your life and the world around you:
1. “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve

Mr. Kay,
I am going to reply to the 3rd quote. I think that the quote is very true. I have never really thought about it until I read this quote, but it is very true. Because I go to school 5 out of the seven days every week, I usually dream about school. Sometimes I dream about what will happen the next day at school, or what I will be wearing, or something crazy like that. There has only been a couple of times when I can remember having a bad dream. The wierd part about it is that when you have nightmares, it's not usually something that has happened to you that day, or at least not for me. I try to do what is right, even if its not fair, I always think about what is right. It turns my dreams around, most of the time, for the better.

2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
I think that this quote means that a hero isn't just someone who you read about in the paper saving peoples lives. They can be an ordinary person who finds the strength to keep moving through difficult times even when they don't think that they can anymore. When I read this quote it made me think of a family friend, Sherry. She has had cancer now for a few years and it keeps coming back. She is always in a lot of pain and suffers a lot. But, when ever you see her no matter if she doesn't feel like being happy she has a smile on her face and an upbeat attitude. She is a hero to me because she will do anything for anyone even if shes in pain and doesn't feel like she has enough energy. And so when ever I think about giving up because im too tired or sore, i just think that there are people out there who have it a lot worse and keep moving through it.

I am going to comment on:
1. “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
To me this quote means: We are all inspired by things that make us happy and fullfill us. If we find things that make us happy, we become more passionate & motivated in what we are doing and others pick up on that positive vibe. If we are just trying to fulfill a need & it's not something we feel passionate about then it shows, and usually a positive result does not come of it. However, if we find something we enjoy & it makes us come alive, the world will benefit from what ever we are giving back to society. If you are happy with yourself and are passioante & motivated the world will reap the benefits of the things that you like to do. Others can definitely tell the differnece between a happy and unhappy person and what they have to offer. The world is struggling and we need people that are happy & passionate to help bring about change.
I pick the first quote. it means that people shouldnt ask what the world needs you should make out for what you have and wat the world has in store for you. ask yourself what makes your heart stop beating becaus it could be in your back yard or just around the corner. the world doesnt need more things to make you happy you just need to search for yourself and see whats out there for you. when we find people that have the same thing to make them happy it makes the world come alive and it bringsus togetther maybe its the oldschoolthat brings us together and makes usalive more then the newschool. homeis where you make it.

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
I think that this meens to do what you want to do in life not what other people want you to do. If there is something you love to do then do it no matter what anyone says. If you are a people pleaser all your life then you will never truly be happy. You wont be doing what you want to do and wont have fun with it. If something makes you come alive and you enjoy it then dont listen to anyone just do it. In my life im not sure how this relates to me. In the world around me there is alot of people saying that other people arent good enough to do somjething. I say if you love it then go it.

I'm choosing quote number one. I think this is true and think that people should find what they like to do instead of conforming to things. When you say that the world needs more of this or that then you wind up doing things that you don't love and it can become really boring. But if you pick something that you love then you are happier and more passionate about it. When people love what they do it really does make the world a better place. This relates to my life because I need to find what I love and makes me come alive for a job so I'm happy. It could not be just jobs though. I think it could be a general style of living and the choices people make. I think its about being happy with you and not trying to conform to who you think you should be. Go with your heart.
Well Mr. Kay I am going to respond to the 3rd quote. My mother is my hero. She has been through so much in her life. She has a heart attack at 39 years old. She had to have open heart surgery. Another one of my heros is my Auntie Karen. She has dealt with a dealth of a child ( we love you Sam). This qoute to me means that anybody can be a hero. All you have to do is nice things and maybe someday someone will think of you as a hero.
3. "People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.”
I agree with this quote entirely. If you there's something that you do repeatedly every day then you're probably dreaming about it. I know that I sing and listen to music every day, constantly. I do it to the point where I dream about singing all the time. Even when I'm going to school, or playing both my piano and my guitar, I dream about playing those too. It's something every person either does or should do. And what you do definately makes your soul and defines who you are.

Mr.Kay,
for my blog tonight i want to talk about quote number two. This quote is very true because i think a true hero is someone who hasnt always had the best but in his mind believes he has. I think this quote is trying to say, a true hero stays hopefull and strong even in the roughest times. In my own life i think i can relate to it becasue things havent always been the best but i try to remember that everything happens for a reason. In the world around me there is enough stuff going on that i think alot of people need to just believe that things will get better. Even though it's easier said then done. Life is hard and being sad about it is only going to make it more miserable for yourselves.

Mr. Kay,
I will choose to do the first one. I think is talking about how the world is pretty boring and all it needs is just a little spark of life and happiness. I really believe in the whole idea of fun a happiness and feeling alive. I think it would just be completely amazing if everyone just let go and just lived how they felt and just did something awesome for just one day, the world would be so great. I have a feeling it would be a lot more peaceful and fun and beautiful and everything good. In my life, I could say it is sort of what I tried to live off of. I felt I should just let myself do what I want and really become alive and that's what makes me who I am now. In the world I think that most people are concerned about saving the world by doing something stupid but it doesn't help as much if you were to just be alive. We just need people to just be themselves and the world's life and individuality is being held back by peoples carelessness of their own individuality. Either way, what it comes to is the life of the world being challenged by peoples inability to become alive. Nonetheless I think that the quote is very truthful and people should become individuals.

I am going to do the first quote. What I think the quote means is that if you do something for the world you will come alive. If you just sit their and ask what does it need you won't come alive. How this relates in my life is by helping out the environment, and giving clothes to good will. How it relates to the world around me is by recycling. Also, by giving donations to charities. Thats how the quote relates to my life and the world around me.

I am going to blog about the second quote. I really like heroes who do things the right way and keep persevering through obstacles. Heroes are the people I look up to because they have gone through everything and then some plus extra of what I have gone through. They have reasons to be proud because they are amazing. I think this quote means that any ordinary normal person can because someone incredible and heroic. They don't have to be born into being great but they themselves make their life great. I have many heroes in my life because so many people inspire me and make me want to do great things. The world around us needs more people like this because there aren't enough people in the world life this. Too many people are lazy and unwilling to become heroes. Today's kids are lazy and do not have the work ethic needed to become heroes. I hope I can continue to do what I'm doing because I think that the way I am going I may be a hero to someone.

I am going to pick the second one for this evening. I picked this one because i feel you see a lot of these kind of things in life. Mainly were people stick up for the things they think is right. An example is when the one pilot landed the 747 jet aircraft in the Hudson river. I think this is heroic because he not only risked his life in doing this. but he also risked everyone else life in his attempt to save everyone. He pulls it off and automatically becomes a hero in everyone's eyes. If i were on this plane i would feel like i owed my life to him because he saved it from a enebital death. Also all of the other people on the plane i think felt like that to.
Alright i am going to be doing this blog on the second qoute by Christopher Reeve. This is saying who evrn is able to overcome and achieve against hard obstacles is fit for a hero. Also, it is saying heros don't worry about the obstacles they just go about it like any ordinary thing. This relates to my life in many ways. One of them is people always talk about heros in a sports game or team. I have been called this before by my basketball teammates when i have made a comback or something. However in everyday life it relates because usually someone saved someones life and or and animals life. Plus police officers, doctors ect. all are hros because they go through some hard things to save peoples lifes.
Ty Bouwens, 6th hour
I'm going to reply to the second quote. I think that this quote is true. I believe it means that a hero isn't trying to be a hero, but when put in a situation he does whats best even if it's painful or dangerous for him. The hero makes a sacrifice for others around him. He must overcome what comes at him. I know this single mom who didn't finish college to be with her daughter. She wanted to be a vet so bad and she was working hard for it, but she couldn't keep going without the expense of her daughter. She was an ordinary person working towards something, but gave it up for her daughter. This makes her a hero in her daughters eyes.

For this evening im going to respond to the 2nd quote, written by Christopher Reeve. I believe this quote means that a hero doesn't always have to be someone who is saves the day, such as superman, batman, or spider man. A hero is someone who sacrifices something for someone else, out of their own will. Not because it's their "title" or "obligation". They do this because they believe their is good everyone, and if someone helped them, they would do the same to someone else in the future. This quote relates to me because of my grandma. She has always been here for me, she sometimes takes me to doctor's appointments, picks me up when im sick at school, and was here staying at my house when my mom was seriously ill. To me this is a hero, because if she wouldn't have been here the appointments would of had conflicted with a school sport, which would of had consequences, my parents can pick me up because they both work full time and can't leave work. Also, when my mom was ill, she was here staying at our house, taking care of her, and my brother and I, when my dad was still working during the day. She doesn't have to save someone to be a hero, but she's one to me. It's a great privilege having someone so generous in my family.

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
I think this quote means a lot of different things. for one i believe it means not being complacent with you life. Or how a lot of people choose a job because of the money they earn and security that it brings. When the quote state the world needs people who have com alive, its necessary for people to enjoy their work and have passion in it. If someone truly loves their work they'll put more effort into it. For me i know that college is coming up and i want to try to figure out what kind of field i want to pursue. I've been thinking a lot about medicine because both my parents are doctors and my brothers on his way to med school. But the thing i would enjoy doing the most is writing. I couldn't think of a better life than to travel and write books. I'm just afraid that if it doesn't work out i really dont have a safety net to fall on. and i'll be pretty screwed. so i hope that eventually i'll have the courage to do the things im dreaming of.
I am going to reply to the third quote. This quote explains my life completly. This quote is basically saying that whatever you enjoy or like doing on a daily basis, is what your dream should be. This quote relates to my life because i go to school everyday, and i like to learn. So, my lifetime dream is to go to college and get a job realating to school, like being a teacher. Another example could be to get a job in a field that you enjoy or do on a regular basis. When i get older, no matter how tempting it will be to get a job that has a high pay check, i would much rather go for the job that i will enjoy for the rest of my life. Because, if i choose a job that i dont like, then i will probobly quit in the long run.
Clare Pathe
Im going to post about the first one. This quote makes a lot of sense by the means of having people in society being unorthodox. The people who chase after their dream are the people who make a difference in the world. What makes you you is something that can be contributed to the world and lays a foundation for the rest of society. If you think of the worlds needs and base your desires off that, your not being pure to yourself. Whatever it is that you dream and you go after it, is the thing thats really going to make a difference to the world. You cant get caught up on taking in the worlds problems and trying to make things better. What needs to be done is for each individual in the world to go by their own beat of the drum. If this is upheld, the world will naturally become a better place for everyone.

"People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.”
Responding to the third quote will be interesting enough for me. I would really have to agree with this quote. It takes the fact of the ideas of patterns become habits. If you do something for a long period of time every day for 20 years, that thing is going to become a part of you. I play music all of the time, so in reaction I think of music all of the time. I do believe that the things you do does shape your soul. If you do something enough and you really start to like it, you will develop a growing passion for that thing, then you will become soulful about it. I have always believed that dreams were made of a mixture of past and recent experiences and have found that out from my own dreams.

#3 seems to prove a interesting point. Anyone ever noticed if you hear a death on the news of a person you haven't ever heard of, you don't REALLY feel that bad. However if Obama died everyone's moral would sink. It sucks knowing if your a average smhuck your relative existence will be forgotten in a decade from your own family and friends. This makes me want to become interested in the thing I hate the most: politics. Becoming the president of the united states or being a party candidate insures my relevance in history. Maybe it's because there is so many humans in the world that we hold a distaste over each other. Maybe when the post-apocalyptic era comes we will be more appreciative of each other(especially the Amish). I like this quote very much, it made me rub my chin in deep thought.
1.“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
This quote explains how you should choose what you want to do with your life. If you just choose to do something that the world needs, you may end up in a job that you do not truly enjoy. If you do not have a passion for it, then you will never do as quality of work as you could if you loved your work. I know that when I am actually enjoying what I am working at, I put my full effort into it. For example, I love poms, and because I have such a love for the sport, I give my all when I am at practice or a performance. When I id gymnastics, I did not put all the effort I could have into it, because I didn’t have a passion for it. For others in the world, I think it goes the same way. If you are just working at something because it was the best option in terms of money, you don’t end up producing the best product from your potential. Money is not the key to happiness, finding what makes you “come alive” is, and if you find it, you should stick to it.

I like quote number two! I think it means that it's the people that want to make a name for themselves and be successful are the ones whol will do just that. They will work through perserverance and get around anything that stands in their path. Those are the heroes. Whether it's large scale, or small, a hero is a hero, and can mean a lot, even if it's only internal glory for themselves. I want to be one of these people. Specifically one who does it for themselves. I am willing to work hard to accomplish many things inlife. It all starts with working hard in school, and extracurricular activities, and eventually reflects how you do in life. I think that, if I work hard, I will get to this point eventually, even if I'm only a hero to myself!

im going to choice number one. I think this quote is very true. When you say that the world needs more of this or that then you wind up doing things that you don't love and it can become really boring and no fun. We are all inspired by things that make us happy and what we enjoy doing. If we find things that make us happy, we become more positive & motivated in what we are doing. We actually want to do it. I think its about being happy with you and not trying to conform to who you think you should be. Do what you want to and be happy with it.
Quote number two by Christopher Reeves stood out to me. I think this means that a hero is a regular person who is able to overcome obstacles, no matter what they are. When you hear the word 'hero' you think of a superhero, but thats not the only type of hero there is. Anyone in this world has the ability to become a hero by overcoming obstacles in their lives. When I read this quote, I think of my grandpa, who just recently passed away. In 1990, he had an aortic anurism( not sure on the spelling) and was given a max. of 10 years. he lived almost double what he was expected, and went through many tough obstacles along the way. No matter how bad he was, he always put a smile on when he'd see his family and thats what made him stand out.

I think i'm going to respond to the 2nd quote. I think it means any individual has the power to overcome things. The difference between that one person and others is they have the courage to do it. Even though the obstacles or problems seems impossible to beat. They go head on into it without a second thought. They also have the power to defy people that feel the need to wrong them. Overall they may be average but they may go after above average obstacles.

I choose number three because i think that we all dream a ton. It is choose that people dream of what they do all day. I think this means that if you dream of something, if you really want something, then you can have it. You have to work hard for it because it will not come easy. This is true ffor me because i really want to go to michigan state since i was little. I know that everyday i have to keep my grades up for this to be possible. The world around me has a ton of goals as well. That is makes us all unique, and i think it all comes back to the "American Dream" because we are all free to do as we choose. That is the beauty of this great country.

"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
I believe that this quote means that anyone can be a hero. And not necessarily an over-dressed guy with wild colors flying around. A hero can be anyone of any age and race sex. The costume doesn't make the hero, nor do the 'great deeds' they did. It's who they are as a person and how they have treated others and has earned respect through their actions.
A fire-fighter is a hero.
A surgeon is a hero.
A soldier is a hero.
These people have saved lives and sparked inspiration among many. These are the heroes of today's world, and they are the ones we need the most.
I believe the only way I can relate to this quote is through song.... XD
"I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life!"
hahaha. I joke.

For this evening I am going to respond to the third statement. I think this quote is very true. If you strongly agree or care for something so much you are always thinking and dreaming about it. For instance professional athletes spend most of there lives fighting and working towards the dream of being in the pros. It is also like rappers who work and use the talent they have to get out of the tough position they were put into. Eminem is a great example of this. He was brought up in a shady part of Detroit and had to work hard to get out of the situation he was put into. Eminem had a dream of being famous and thats what he worked hard at and is now a very successful rapper. If you truly believe in something and are willing to put your heart and soul into it follow it and become the best you can be.

2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
The meaning this quote holds for me, is that everyone has their own difficulties or problems. No one escapes trouble. It is what you choose to do with it that matters. Do you choose to overcome them or let them overcome you? The differnence between success and failure is whether or not you have the courage to keep on going agasinst the odds. You should always do the best you can.In the worlds some people don't take this quote to heart, and quit too early to see if they would have had. If everyone did the very best they could do each and every day the world would be a very differnt place, with many positives outcomes. Just think where we would be if everyone lived out their lifes to the best that they could. The earth would be cleaner, and overall in a better "mood". Be a hero on a indivual level and there is much to be proud of.
Shaun Gerber
I am doing the third qoute. This is saying that what you do everyday. All day, should be what you dream about. Wanting to go and do it again the next day. This related to me because what i do during the day like go to school. And hang out with my friends. Is what i dream for my life to be when im older. Being able to keep my true friends, and have a happy life.
2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
I think the second quote (shown above) is the most interesting. I think that this quote relates to anyones life. When someone does this, they arent saying, "Im gonna do this to be a hero." I tihnk that things like this randomly happen. You dont know what youre doing, and it turns out to be great. I tihink that the stereotypical hero has to overcome something. Coping with a problem, or going through durastic measures shows people heroic traits.
2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
I think that this quote means that heroes aren’t special people they just find what they have in themselves. It kind of like saying you find the strength when you need to accomplish something. In other words adrenaline, you use it to over come the obstacle. Anybody can do it for anything. A lot of people are considered heroes and they are everywhere all the time. A hero can be considered someone who opens a door for you or someone who saves your dog from getting ran over, it all depends on how you look at it. Many people were heroes when the terrorsit attack happened. Now and days people need to become heroes and become active in the world and be so lazy.

1. “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
I feel this quote represents the need for us as individuals to power this earth. Meaning that if us humans, were to misbehave give up on everything and be criminals, this world would fall apart. The other thing that it states is for us to come alive. Meaning dont sit back on your heels and wait for things to come to you, go after and get it. The humans actions are what power the world so it is the world that is relying on us to come alive and do our job so the world can be what it is.So when people think they can just screw off and slack in the world, they are hurting them selves. But they also are hurting all us others making the world worse.
ONE EXAMPLE: STOP BUYING, RICE BURNER, CHOP STICK MADE, PLASTIC BUILT PIECE OF SHIT FORGEIN CARS.
CONMAN
3. "People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.”
This means people dream about what they do best. What you do every day is what you dream about. If you work as a handy man your dreams are about working as a handy man. I basicaly think that if you dream it you can do it. If you repeat things everyday it will become a routine. In the world people do multiple things on a daily basis. This means they dream about what they do. Some may do things better but they all have a similar goal.
5th
I am going to reflect off of the first quote. This person is saying that if you want to do something for the world, then do what makes you feel alive. If people do not have to determination and want to help the world, then it is not going to happen. Doing something that makes you feel alive gives you the determination to make a difference and help the world. The world cannot function with people who are unimaginative and boring. This relates to my life because this quote is saying that we need to find something that we love and go for it. I shouldn't waste my time trying something that I hate because others are doing it, but go for my passion. By doing this I can inspire others to do the same. This effects the world because one person is inspired by the next, and soon everyone could be doing something they love to do and make the world come alive.
im going to answer all of them, cause leaving two of them would seriously make me feel empty.
1. to ask what the world wants of you, is the wrong question to ask, what the question to ask, should be, what do i want to world to be for me, and what can i give back to it. to ask what they want of you, gives you no life, but to ask what you can give out, gives you limitless opportunities. to me, i feel i am, or at least am trying to be the person who will seek what should be there, and what should be given, and strive that. wether that answer is wrong or right, i looked, i saw, and i conquered the problem, even if the answer wasn't needed.
I want to dictate my own life, and i do not want my life to dictate who i become, i want my choices in life to show who i am.
2. everyone is someone's Hero, in my opinion, wether it is the actions they takes, or the choices they make, someone looks up to these people. one day, i hope to be that person, who was once an ordinary individual, who becomes something extraordinary. but however i live my life, i will forever find it a miracle. I will be my own Hero, and it will better me, know how much i accomplished, and how far i have came, and it will help me become the better Hero that i look up to.
We may be our own Hero, but being someone else's Hero, can be the best thing to hear, because it means you stand for ore than you, it means you stand for so much more. you stand for a whole other life, because they will look up to you, and they will emulate you, and as a annoying that could be, it is best to set the best example, for the fear that one day, you might just lose your superhuman ability. and that could be devastating.
I hope i can become a Hero, to a son or daughter i might have one day, or some kids who i might teach one day, or to other adults, who share the same interests as me. whoever it may be, i would like to stand for more than just me, i would like to stand for so many people.
I just hope i never become the villain I can see, lurking on the everlasting horizon, and i hope i never become that villain, for fear that the superhero i might become, will be gone forever.
3. the truth about this, is actually, that whatever we dream, we strive to have in reality. i find it to be that we try to reach for our dreams, because they become our goals. and wether you choose to accept them, your dreams will dictate your life, because, it will forever be between you and your mind. you can choose to never tell a soul, or you can spread it to the world. the choice is yours, but if your dreams dictate that one day, you will spread your great ideas, why would one ignore that thought?
I have a dream, and someday, i wish i will get the courage to share it, and i hope others will be open to that idea, and at least acknowledge it, but for now, the best thing i can do, is develop that idea, into a well formulated thought, ready for presentation at any moment.

I picked number 2 qoute. I think that this can be looked at a few ways. We all can be heros it all depends on how you look at things. People like firefighters and police can be looked at like heros. they do things that the ordinary person wouldn't do. They can saves lives and help other people. If we diddn't have them the world wouldn't be a good place to live in. There are so many thing that people do that may look heroic. Ordinary people can be heros to other people. They just might come to a time where the situation makes them a hero. I all depends on hoe you look at people and waht your definition of a hero is.

I picked the 3rd quote. I think this quote means that, if you work all day for money you will dream of getting that money. Which in the long run will help you get the money becuase you are determined. When it says "People's dreams are made out of what they do all day", i think it means if you do one thing the whole day and have no verity in your schedual you can only think of one thing all the time. When a layer gets reaserch for a case all day, he or she is dreaming of that reaserch winning him or her that case. if you do the same thing all day that is what you will dreamm of all night. I think this quote is also saying to have more veriety in your life and have more dreams so if one dream doesnt work out u will always have another.

I'm going to respond to quote number two this evening. I think this quote means anyone can be a hero. You don't have to be the average kind of hero that people have standards of. A hero can be anyone who just finds the courage to complete what they need to. The obstacles that stand in the way just allow you to gain more strength. A hero is not just born a hero, they become one. They start out and ordinary person and through their actions they either choose to be a hero or not. In my life this relates to my actions. I can either be the person who constantly keeps going and finds the courage to move through obstacles or be just another average person.

I choose that, "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” I think that the quote means that you don’t have to have super powers to be a hero. A hero could be a normal person that overcomes hard obstacles and never backs down. A person’s decisions make them a hero. If an average person saves another person from drowning, they are a hero. Even police officers and fire fighters are considered heroes because they save people and overcome great obstacles. It is your decisions that determine whether or not you are a hero.
I pick the third quote. to me i think that this quote is very true. Any time that something major happens in the day i always dream about it but in a different way. sometimes good and sometimes bad. But people should really listen to there dreams because they can actually help you in the future. some dreams that you have sometimes tell you what is going to happen in the future, but you have to figure out when it is going to happen.
I am going to talk about quote #1. Its telling you to follow your dreams so we can have a diverse, unique world. If we follow someone elses dream, then no one will be able and they will be miserable. Every person needs to grow up and be happy and do what they want to do. The world can be such a better place if people were more happy. When people do thigns they dont like, then that makes their life worse. They are more likely to be depressed. So overall, we need to live our own life for ourself, no one else. We shouldnt care about what others think of what we wanna do, as long as were happy.

2. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve
Mr. Kay,
This quote is soemthing that really makes me think. It is a quote that is very truthful also. A hero is not a person that is happy through good times. But a person that is happy and energetic during the tough times also. A person is defined by how the react to the bad time. Most think that they are defined by how they are in thwe good times, when that is not true. You develop character when you go throguh bad times and learn that nothing in life is given to you and you have to work to get every little thing that comes with it. You get this by working hard and doing whatever it is you do best.
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
i think this quote i saying to not wait around for others. don't wait for others to tell you what to do. take charge of yourself and do what makes you happy. you should still coroporate with people but dont be taken advantage of you. if your not happy in life what do you have to live for besides obligations? make the most of it and have fun. you only have one life so live it fully. i am always more happy when i am with people and doing things i like. the world needs people who follow their dreams because they end up doing great things.
I'm doing number 2.
This quote means that anyone can become a hero. People can find a way to make a difference in someone else's life and save them. To that person someone may have been their hero. In the world we need more people that can go through the obstacles and help others get through their own lives. Someone in my life who has been a hero is my father. He does whatever he can for me and he doesn't let anything get in his way. He has made my life what it is and has been my hero. In no way is he above ordinary. He is a normal person who has come through for his family. I would like to make a difference in someones life like he has for me. My ultimate goal is to go all out for someone and help change their life for the better.
3. "People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.”
This quote means "The actions you do determine what you pursue." As it said in the original quote, when a dog is chasing after a rabbit, he'll be dreaming of catching the rabbit no matter what the cause it was for the dog to start chasing after the rabbit. Same as us. Businessmen will dream of raising their business to the top company one day, and students will dream of getting good grades on test. Even though we might need to have a small motivation to start something, but once you start it and you become enthusiastic about it, you keep on tracking and dreaming it. In my case, I started going to math academy just to meet friends when I was in 4th grade. But after that, I got interested in math, and my dream has become one that is related to math such as math professor, economist, or banker. I only hope and wish not to be lazy in the steps I pursue my dream.
