Mr.Kay,
Old major is saying the life of an animal is miserable and short. He veiws it as your fed, you work, and once you get old your killed. Old Major tries to explain to the other animals that it's not because England doesnt have enough food or land, but because man is lazy and unfair. I veiw the order of nature as some sort of game. You are born and are taught to always take care of yourself and make sure you have what you need. Everyone of us should have to fight for their exsitance as the next guy. This influences my own life becasue i see it as doing what you need to do to take care of yourself and live as long as you can.

The old Major says animals are born into the world as slaves of human beings, who exploit the products of the animals. But he insists that they have no reason to live in that way, which is one way giving. Today's order of nature that I view is the lazy people get owned by the diligent people. Like Edison said, "Genius in 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration", with any kind of talents that lacks of efforts, you cannot achieve what you want in this world. And it'll not only leave you retarded but also controlled by others who work. This old saying is one of my favorite one that spurs me to study to prepare for my future in order to not be involved in the group of losers but in winners.

Mr. Kay,

I believe that the Old Major is trying to tell the animals that because of the Humans, their lives are more miserable and shorter than they could be. The Old Major is trying to explain to the animlas that if the Humans wern't there controling them, that they woulf be able to eat as much as they want, when they want. They could play all day, and keep what they produce. The Old Major said that the babies could stay with there mothers instead of being sold to others and never see them again. The Old Major was trying to tell the older animals that when they grow to old, and weak to work that the Humans will kill them, the dogs will have a brick tied to there neck and drowned in the nearest lake. The animals just don't understand the consequences that the Old Major is trying to warn them about. I see the order of nature in my life as an unwritten story waiting to be finished. The nature in my life comes as a great surprise everyday, I cherish it whether its good or bad.

It is explained that man is the problem of everything. Its the reason they are worked to death and have just enough food. I think the order is somewhat right. You have to learn to fend for your self. Also not everything is handed to you if you want something you have to take it. It influences my life by helping me learn right and wrong. It also helps to have the right ethic. You have to work hard to get what you want.

Old Major is discussing to the farm animals that they were born to a miserable life where they are treated unjustly. He explains to them that the farm owner is able to feed them more food, and give them more land to roam free, but he does not. Major tells the animals that it is the greed of the farmer which holds these things from them. The farmer does not want to spend anything he doesn't have to on the animals so he can have the most for himself. The order of nature Major speaks of is the availability and fertility of the soil in England, the good climate, and the amount of food that is a greater amount than the animals that are living there. It is also the superiority of man over animal. The order of nature today is the educated verses the uneducated. In this era, to get a job, you need to compete with many other people from all around the world for that position. Almost always, the person with the higher education experience is the one who gets the job. This influences me because I need to keep this in mind for when I begin to look for a job.

The Old Major is saying here that the animals fall way short of the humans. The humans use the animals and have no regards for them. He thinks that animals should be given much more credit for what they do. He is saying that animals provide very much for humans and the humans just use them as a tool. Humans kill them and make them live under intense conditions. Old Major wants some more respect and to create a better life for these animals because he thinks they deserve way better than what they are getting. I view nature as they everyone does. They do great things for people because of the different abilities nature possesses. However, it is necessary for people to do what they do now because people need to survive even if it means killing other things off. The way I view nature effects me every day because I am still alive because of it. Nature takes care of everything and I like it that way which is why nature needs to stay how it is.

Old major says that that pretty much the life of a animal is horible. They have to work then get fed just enough so they dont die. And then when they are old they get killed. Mostlikely they are killed for the humans to eat. They think that this is unfair. The oder of nature to me is kind of like a game.. You have to play the game to survive in this world. You have to work hard everyday to survive. This influences me everyday. I go to school and work everyday, we need an education to do well in life. Working to make your food is another way, you need food to live so hterefore you need to eat.

Old majoris sayong that the life as an animal is short and miserable. He is basically saying that animals are born into life as slaves to the humans. You get fed, work all day, and once you are to old to work you are killed. He tells the other animals that it isn't the land that's not big enough and that their isn't enough food, it's just the lazy humans that cannot do anything for themsevles. I view the order of nature as a never ending cycle. You are born, taught to live, taught to take care of yourself, and always make sure that you are ready for anything that comes your way. This shows you that nothings free in life and you need to work towards everthing so you can succeed. This influences my life because i believe that every living thing gets a chance to be on top of the world, but just has to continue to work for it just like everyone else.

What Old Major is saying about the order og the nature is that their lives are misserable, laborious, and short. Also, he thinks that when they are born, they are given just so much food to keep the breath in their bodies, and the animals who are capable of it are forced to work to the last atom of their strength. He thinks no animal in England is free because the life of an animal is misery and slavery. Also, the land is poor that it cannot afford a decent life to those who dwell upon it. England soil is fertile, its climate is good , and it is capable of affording food in abundance to enormously greater number of animals than now inhabit it. I veiw the order of nature in my life by standing up for our selves. How this influence me is because you need to take care of your needs.

Old major is saying that the animals do all the work while the man takes there production and doesn't give back. He is saying that the animals should rule because they do the work. The way i veiw the order of nature is that humans rule becuase we have the biggest brains. We are smart enough to do something with our brain besides being trained to work. We are smart enough to put others to work that are dumb enough to do so. This influences me cuz im basiclly at the bottom of the human list. kids and teenagers barley have any control. so as i get older the higher i go up in the order.

Old Major is saying that the animals are just for the people and that they have no purpose in life but to serve the humans. He says that this isn't right and they sould do something about it all. Old Major is also describing how the humans just live off of their benifits. They take what they have and the only thing that they get is little food and a place to live. He says that they need to fight back and have animals be free and rule. He says that their lives would be much beter without the humans. The order of nature affects my life alot. Human are on the top of the food chain and it would be extremly diffent if animals ran things. We wouldn't be free. We would have to be more active and not so lazy. We would have to find and get our food for ourselves entead of having it perpared for us. If the order of nature was diffent life would be much more dificult.

old major is discussing that animals are born into an unfair way of life. the way he explains it is you dont get much from wat you do on the farm, like you give so much and recieve so little. Mr.jones is really lazy and treats all the animals badly.the man is just lazy they have good weather so they have enough food to grow and they should get repaid. this reminds of when people are smarter then one another, the one with more experience gets the job, other less experienced dont recieve the job. it makes me want to work harder now i dont want to be the one that doesnt get the job when i actually have the skills to get a good, i dont want to waste all my skills for nothing

What Old Major is saying is that their lives are short and laborous. That they would work, be fed, and then killed once they got old. And that no animal in England knows the meaning of happiness or leisure after working for so long. And that the life for them, as animals, is misery and slavery. Finally, he states that man steals the produce of their labor. In a way the nature in my life seems close to what Old Major describes. I do have to work almost everyday when I go to school. And when I get old I will die, but I won't be killed by somebody else when I get there. And also, I don't get just enough food so that I can live. I get an abundance of food. The nature of my life is school/work, eat, sleep, and be marry. Sometimes it can get laborous and depressing because everyday seems to be exactly the same as the last.

Old Major is describing the life of farm animals as short, exhausting, and tragic. He explains how farm animals work until they are physically drained of all energy and how they get the bare minimum for their labor. They provide food and milk for humans but they get nothing in return but hardly enough scraps to survive on. He also explains how all the labor means nothing because as soon as they are no longer able to work they are slaughtered in a horrific way. I think that he is explaining that you have to provide for yourself. Animals are nurtured just enough to get them on their own and then the parents leave them. This kind of relates to me because my parents are preparing me for the real world. As soon as I get the education I need, I'll be on my own. My parents have prepared me enough to get me started in the wolrd by getting a job soon.

Old Major is saying that there lives are terrible and miserable. They are forced to work if they can when they cant no more they are killed brutally. He also says that none of the animals in England what happiness is and they have none. He also says that animal life is misery and is full of slavery. The only real enemy they have is Man. I view the order of nature just like all of us look at it. We are supposed to do as we are told as kids and we need to take care of ourselves. As we get older we need to do what we have to to get by and succeed. We have no enemy in our lives except those who are just like us. Our life is a lot different than that of animals all around. Our life would be different if any of this changes a little bit.

On page 5, Old Major is explaining how animals are mistreated, and dont get taken care of. He is saying that it is unjust becuase the animals feel that humans are unfair. They feel we abandon them and are selfish people. He also thinks that animals deserve more credit. For example, when the animals are talking they say that all we do is kill them for food and clothes, etc. My view of nature is that it is great. Nature does great things for people. It influences my life because it is what keeps us alive. Nature is a sacred thing, without it we wouldnt live. For example, it provides us with natural resources like oxygen from the trees, and vitamin d from the sun, etc.

"the life of a animal is misery and slavery." His exact words. Humanity started out pretty poor however it started out. Having barely any survival traits(fur/feathers, claws, ect ect), use used animals. It has happened and continues to happen every day. Is this fair? Not to them. Do we care? Not at all. Animals are completely at our mercy, and they lose that when animals become a burden. I can't help but remember Candy's dog from Of Mice And Men. Same situation except for a couple of minor details.

I smell communism! Major is the source of it! It even says on the front that the book has connections.

Old Major is saying that himself and all the other farm animals are born to a life of unfair treatment. He also explains that humans as a whole a greedy and that he could give them better treatment. He tells the animals that humans only consume their products and do not produce anything for them. He also says how England is much better because of the climate and everything else. He thinks they are all being jipped when it comes to food and land and tells them to Rebel. He tells how he doesn't understand how man is superior to animals because they don't give anything back. In today's world, the order of nature is basically the level of education that people have. The more educated people have better jobs, and the less educated are struggling for jobs, especially in today's economy. I will eventually have to live through this. So, therefore, I try to get myself on the right track as best I can.

Old Major is trying to say a couple main points. First of all that being a farm animal sucks He is saying that you don't live long, or a full free life and you are really miserable on the inside. Plus they don't get the respect they should by the humans who he says is the problem of everything in their life. Another thing is Old Major is saying that us, as humans make other things, like animals do our work becasue we are lazy. That is true considering we pay people to do simple task like mow our lawn or something. i think that you have to earn your respect in life. Not only by being nice and stuff but in a way sticking up and fighting for yourself. In other words getting your hands dirty to be there the next day sometimes. this affects everyones lfe including mine because i was taught to always be nice but sometimes to live to see another day you have to step in a be mean, or get your hands dirty.

Mr. Kay,
Old Major generally speaks about how miserable the animals life is and how they are essentially slaves. He says it isn't because their land can't provide for their necessities, it is because they are just being used for humans. The farmers own them and choose not to feed them or tend to them as much as they like so the animals seem to be in misery. In my opinion, me don't necessarily treat them as bad as it is made out to be. We feed them, they work, and give them a home and do many other things for them. I mean, it makes sense, but it is over exaggerated. My idea is that generally, men are superior. I don't mean to make it sound like we are god over the creatures, but we seem to have a sense of intellectuals that other animals don't. Really it doesn't impact me a whole lot day by day. I don't sit around thinking about how much better I am then other animals and how I can be even more superior and better than them. In the actual human race though, I might not be as powerful. I am not the biggest person in the society, I am not the most helpful in a society, I am not much of anything for society. I can sort of feel for the animals where sometimes it feels like life is unfair, and after a bit of life, it it is just torture. Well, I don't think it is torture but it is a lot different from how it was six years ago. This is what I think of the animals idea of order of nature versus mine.

Old Major is saying that their life is empty. What is rightfully theirs is taken from the humans. In addition, their life is short and barely get their needs. Their task is to provide for humans and that's it. Old Major believes that they deserve something more because they are the ones doing the work. My order of nature is to work towards being a better person. In my day to day life, I do stuff that will set me onto that path. I am working towards being content and happy.

Old Major is saying that the lives of animals are short, miserable, and hard working. They are only given enough food to survive (no extra). They provide for the humans and are expected to work until the day they can no longer be of benefit to mankind. Even though England is fertile and the climate is good, they still are not given any extra food for their hard work. If man would be removed from nature their life would be so much easier. The order of nature for humans is that when we are young we rely on our parents to provide us food, clothing, education and a home. As we grow older you are expected to provide for yourself. This influences me because as I grow older I will continue to learn and be educated so that I may provide a living for myself.

I think that old Major was explain how that everything happens for a reason. That the nature of things means that everyone has a role on this earth to make life work. If one thing goes out of balance, then everything else goes out of balance. I think that for any life to be sustained their needs to be an order of nature. If our planet is effected by the way, us humans act then our planet might be doomed. Humans have one of the greatest impacts on all of the levels of nature on earth because we are one of the most intelligent races to live on this planet.
Now being intelligent doesn't mean that we are smart. It means that we have enough brainpower to send us into a global disaster or recovery depending on the way we choose to use our minds. I think the order that effects me personally is the order of life involving parents and school. It is natural for the parents and teachers to be the leaders in our society because they, most of the time, teach us to become smarter and help us become better as people as we grow. It has been the nature of things for hundreds of years that previous generations pass down as much knowledge to younger generations so we can learn from their mistakes.

I think that old major is saying that without animals the world would fall apart. He is completely right when he said that "Man is the only creature that comsumes without producing. He does not make milk, nor does he not lay eggs." What old major is saying is that he feels that the animals on the farm are so under appretiatd. After reading what old major said i would have to agree with him. We as humans are taking animals or granted. I will now try to be nicer to animals and love my doggi foofie so he woundt think that he is under appreictied. lol

He explains there lives and how it happens. He talks about how unfair it is and how cruel humans are to them. He explains what they need to do to fix it also. He states they need to remove the cause of there misserable lives "Humans". I view the order of nature being the government and the earth itself. We have limits that are set to us and we can't help it. This influences me because I am restricted on what I can do. We are not as free as we think we are. We all live off the land in a way, needing food, shelter etc, making the order of nature.

Old major said that the life of an animal is miserable, laborious, and short. He says they are born, then given just enough food to survive. I believe this applies to farm animals, not house pets. Of course animals on farms are generally fed little because they will end up being butchered. We need animals to eat, so of course they are going to die. Its part of life and it always has been. Horses used to be used to pull wagons, because it was their job. The cows are milked. These things are needed for humans to stay alive. Man needs animals for food, and to help with work. There is nothing we should feel bad about with making the animals work. I have a horse, and he gets worked about 5 times a week. Its not misery, its fun. He enjoys life, but still does work.

He is saying the animals will work till their last atom of strength is gone. In Animal farm the order of nature for them is work, work hard till you die. For me I think we also have a specific order. We work up to things in life, we go to school later to just get a job. It's almost as if our paths are already made for us. It influences me by making me want to break away from everyday life. To choose a different path away from how everyone else is living their life.

Old Major describes the nature of things as intolerable. he tells his comrades how life is miserable, laborious, and short. Old major explains how animals create products for the humans, and work for the humans, and once theyre no longer needed they get slaughtered in cruel ways. Old major compares the animals to slaves. For us humans i think the majority of people roughly follow the same nature of things. We grow up learning that school is the most important thing. were supposed to work hard in school, get into a college, find a job, find a family, and die. Overall i don't think that it is intolerable or miserable, though at times i find in boring and perpetual. i feel like my whole life is already set out for me, honestly, i feel trapped in it. but it's the way our society is.

Old Major is telling us about how short lived and depressing the order of their lives is. They are born, fed bare minimum, made to work or produce food, and then most likely killed at a young age. He says that no animal knows happiness and that their lives are misery and slavery. Old Major says it is Man's fault, they take and take but never give anything back. The order of nature in my life is that I have to live up to expectations. They surround me from every angle. Expectations from family, friends, teachers, my coach, my teammates, and many more. Even people who have never met me have expectations of me; I have to get good grades, get into a college, get a job, make a good living... I know that ultimately the expectations of myself are the ones I have to meet, but I think the expectations of others help me set higher expectations of myself. It helps me push myself farther and be better than without the expectations.

Mr. Kay,

Old Major is saying that the life of an animal is short and pointless. Also, that they are used by the humans to get what they want out of them. For instance, the chickens give eggs, then are killed. The cows are milked, then when they give birth to their calves, they are killed and eaten. He says that they are not treated the way they should be and that the humans just use them for what they need and then when they are done with them they are shoved to the curb. In our society, we want to make everybody but ourselves do work for us. The reason behind this is that we are lazy individuals. Why do you think that we made machines and everything? Its because we are lazy anmd dont ever want to work hard.

Korei said...

The natural order was and is simple. Man on top, animals on the bottom. The only animals that earned the ability to ride the high-road with man were the 'intellegent' and easily domesticated animals.

I feel like my family's 'order' is a peaceful one. There's the people of the family, my parents and brothers. They work to make money for their food and treats.
Then there are our horses, Banner, Footlights, and Chiqueta. They play with us when we are feeling down, work hard to be the best, and earn their piles of hay and buckets of grain.

As for me, I feel like the binding force between these two different creatures. If there is a misunderstanding, I'll hold Banner by his neck, and re-explain the situation. If there is a problem, my mom and the vet are quick on their way.

This 'natural order' reminds me of what I might have been millions of years ago; even what I was THIRTEEN years ago. Because we are all born selfish. All we know is that we want. We want food, we want shelter, and attention.
But the horses aren't selfish. They take what's given to them, and enjoy each and every bit of it. :3

Major tells us that life is miserable, laborious and short. He also says that Man is to blame. If it were not for man, they would not be overworked and underfed. So on this page the order of nature is that man resides over animals.

The order of nature in my life is that the adults reside over the children. We have to follow the rules. Be polite when we don’t feel like it. We have to wake up when we don’t want to. We have to do homework to prove we know what we are doing. It seems that if it weren’t for the adults we could do what ever we want!

I believe what the Old major is saying that, The life of a farm animal comes and goes. Its short and as miserable. Life comes and goes, now live your life the way you want it to be lived. Yeah they say we cant do this and cant do that But the thing is, the fact is, no onw in this world can stop you from living a life. Just like farm animals, when you get old its time to go. The way we let people run our lifes is the sam as we run farm anilams lives. Live free and be who you want to be. Do what you want to do and just go out there and LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE!!!

But if you look at the whole piture i go to school most of the time and am running and sleeping. Old Major is saying to the other animals that there life is pointless. He explains to them that it is short because they are treated poorly by humans. They work hard for nothing but the bare minimum. They get fed but barely enough to not be starving. This example is shown when we children are at school. The Teachers think they have all the power in the world just like the humans in the story. Also like in this story we are given pointless assignments and to work for nothing but a grade. I think that Old Major is a very negative person and try's to spread it on to the rest of the animals much like scar from the lion king.

When someone isnt being a leader they are being held down. just like the animals in animal farm. They arent being allowed to fulfill their full lifestyle being weighed down by humans.

Old Major is saying that humans are superior to animals and treat them badly. The animals are born into a short, miserable life and the humans give nothing back to them. He says that they receive only the bare minimum to survive and are just being used. The humans take their milk, meat, and eggs and give practically nothing back. Also, when the animals are not of good use they are just killed and he's pretty much just saying that humans are evil. I guess for us the nature of life is the people with the most power are like the humans. These are the people like people in the government, celebrities, big rich company owners, and things like that. What they say goes and we don't really have a lot to say about it. The people with the best jobs and the most education will always be on top and have the most say in things. Its kind of all about money and status and who has the best connections.

In this section, Old major talks about how he order of nature for the animals is pretty much bull. They are not being able to live the lives in which they want to and are being taken away from others inwhich they love. Old Major is obviously just absolutly against humans that take advantage of farm animals. Personally, my way of nature is just based off the way things go. Not to sound like im a follower but mening i work myself around nature and make life as best as possible through all the ups and downs.

What i thik Old major is saying the life of an animal is miserable and short. The Old Major is trying to explain to the animlas that if the Humans wern't there controling them, that they would be able to eat as much as they want, and when they want. The Old Major was trying to tell the older animals that when they grow to old. to weak to work, the humans would come and kill them. They dont understand the consequences are that old major is trying to tell them. I see the order of nature in my life as humans first and everything else comes after. Humas like to have things done for them by someone else.

In this section Old Major is saying that animals lives are bad. They aren't given much food and so they are weak and tired. And even though they are weak and tired then they have to work or else they will get slaughtered. He says that the Mr. Jones could give them more food to eat and more land to have. But he doesn't he is describe as a cheap person according to the animals. In my life the order of nature is if someone is older then they are more powerful. Also in the whole world today its starting to be the educated people are over the uneducated. As the years go by jobs will be more demanding of how intelligent you are and how well you use your skills. This will begin to hit me when college comes. Colleges are becoming more difficult to get into and they are setting the standards higher and higher each year.

the order of nature is as follows: Man, then all other animals. we are the conquering force over everything. we do take more than we give back, but the biggest thing is that we are the only species who changes our surroundings to suit our lifestyle. Old major is getting to the point of what their root problem is. Man. i see his valid point, but the only problem i curently see looking me in the face, is that these animals are so domesticated, that they will die on their own.

now, this book, so far, seems to have a connection with something that is like war. just the way the narrator spoke to use today, it seemed as if he was giving a declaration of war speech, and in fact he was. it is an outright war against man. now, the bad thing here, is that they are dealing in absolutes, and that man is bad, and our comrades our any animal but man. And those who deal with absolutes, are those who look in on themselves, because those are whom the evil spawns from. they are dealing with the absolute that all of humanity is bad, when in fact, they probably only know of one, Mr. Jones. (i got a lot of these ideas from star wars; i.e. dealing with absolutes, looking inward, not outward)

i view nature, in the class system which dawns us all, wether we believe in or not. and not just middle class, or lower class, but the stereotypes people put on us, and how that is the order of nature in my life. people put it upon us, just as old major put it on man. As silly as that is, that seems to be the biggest influence, other than age differences, which are a huge part of the influences in everyones lives, because with age, comes power and responsibility. and what i had learned all to well, is that some people are not ready for that. and they take their power, and twist it, and bend it; so far out of shape, that they think they are doing good, while others see nothing but chaos and destruction in their paths. and the responsibility is never taken lightly. i know all to many people, who take one, power, but not the other, responsibility. it’s a balanced force, and when you take one, you only are taking half, and most of the time, that half leads to evil. because when you take power, it corrupts people; because absolutes corrupt, and corruption is the only absolute in this situation. and when you take responsibilty, you are taking everything from everyone, and you are not taking the power to stop it.

in conclusion, power leads to corruption, responsibility leads to anger and aggression when all you do is hear it from others; but the true good, takes both. because when you step out on that limb, and don't look back; the risk is great, but taking the responsibility is greater, because it shows you have truly given thought, and truly evolved into higher intelligence. something animals will never come by. at least not in my lifetime.

Old najor is pretty much saying that animals are only for work and have a terrible life. He says that if they were all alone that they would get to do whatever they wanted. Old major believes that animals should be treated a lot better and should not have such a miserable life. He belives that the only way to survive is by working hard and never quiting until they get what they want. I see the order of nature as people working to have a good life. It is about doing what yo can to live as long as you can. This is how i am going to be successful when im older. I have to work to get places.
