I think that at the begging of the story parris is like all woried about his reputation. He doesnt want people to think that his daughter and niece were doing witch craft. but by the end of the story he was more worried about his niece and daughter getting arested. I think in some ways he changed for the good nad for the bad. For the good way he stoped being only worried about his reputation and started to worry bout abigail and betty. For the bad at the end he was still rude. I think he impacted on abigail. I think he prety much made her lie about the witch craft to protect his reputation.

I have chose abligial i chose her because shes one of the main characters and i think she impacted alot of people. i think she has changed for the better because she is learning how the affair affected everyone. The first character i think that she impacted was john proctor. I think this because she messes up his life his marriage and because of what happen know one will trust him again. The next character i think she impacted was of course elizabeth proctor. i think this because she messes up her life abliagail saids the she thinks that elizabeth is a witch and thats when the whole things starts just so that elizabeth will die and abilgal could have john. I think abilgal changes this characters from how they were to were they are now.

One character that I especially noticed was Rev. Hale. He started off the play with coming to Salem to find all those people who supposedly had the devil in them. As the story goes on he impacted many of the girls in Salem by sentencing them to death or jail. For example Elizabeth Proctor, he sent an innocent women to jail, who never even lied before. Another thing he impacted was the whole town, he got them all worked up about absolutely nothing. And now at the end of act three hes starting to realize that he has worked up all this commotion over nothing. So, he started off the play on a mission trying to find the devil in Salem. And now that the play is coming to an end he has changed by seeing that the devil was never really in Salem and trying to figure out how to fix what he has ruined.

The character that I choose is John Proctor. At the beginning of the story he still had some feelings for Abigail. Though as the the story goes on it seems he's growing more and more detached from her. Hale thinks of him as a witch at first. Mainly becuase he can't remember all the commandments (adultery). But later he starts to believe him about how there isn't any witchcraft in Salem. Abigail does not seem to be affected by John's actions but the fact that she also accused him of witchcraft besides Mary Warren confuses me. Mainly because of her affection for him that she had.

Proctor seems to be the most interesting to me in the play so far. He, at first, started out looking like a strong, honest man who kept to his word. Later we find out that he has had an affair with Abigail. Then he lies about it to everyone and also chooses not to talk about it. He now is in a constant fight against everybody's belief in witchcraft. He and his wife continue to disagree in all of this excitement. However, he impacts his wife in a negative way. Abigail dislikes her and wants her out because she wants the affair to continue with John. John wants to remain faithful and stay with his wife. Abigail then accuses her of being a witch and now she has been arrested. Another person who has been impacted by John indirectly is Mary Warren. She has been obeying Abigail and trying to set Elizabeth up. This goes back to the affair that Abigail still wants because Mary Warren plays a key role in getting rid of Elizabeth. She has an inside postion and she is beginning to dislike Proctor now she has a motive to mess up everybody's lives.

The character that I chose was Giles Corey. I chose him because i saw a big change in his character from the beginning to what we are currently reading right now of the story. I believe Giles has changed in a positive way. In the beginning Giles didnt really stand up for himself and didnt really have a backbone. He accused his wife, Martha, about being a witch because he mysteriously couldnt pray if she was reading, but then could pray once she was done reading. In Act 3 he started to become differnt. He started to stand up for himself, saying it was wrong that he accused his wife, and was very guilty about it. Also when asked by the court for names of people that he believed are witches, he just refused to say anything, because he didnt want to be a snitch, and didnt think it was right to give peoples names, if they werent really withes.

I think that in the beginning of the story that Abigail was just a little misunderstood. I think that she thought that she was in love with John Proctor. But as the story continued on she became a little brat. She took things way too far. The two characters that Aligail effected the most would be Proctor. I chose Proctor as the first character because he ends up in jail because he is acussed of lying about how he had an affair with abgail. The second character that I choose was Mary Warren because she had to go against Abigail and not be her friend anymore. It is really hard because she knows that Abigail will not make living in Salem easy for her.

One character that has changed in the story is Proctor. At the beginning of the play, he was dishonest and had an affair with Abigail. After kicking her out, he still had feelings for her and admitted to it. At the time of the trial, he was over it and not willing to put up with her crap anymore. He spoke the truth and even risked his name and reputation to help the accused. He has impacted people like Mary Warren and Hale. Earlier in the play, he wouldn't have made Mary tell the truth, but by now, he realized its the right thing to do. He is more responsible now I think. Proctor has affected Hale by helping him see all the madness going on and he brought to his attention that Abigail was lying.
I think that Abigail make her attude for the worst. She stabbed her self. Shame on Mary Warren for going along with Abigail BS. I think that I is total crap. I am very proud of John Proctor for sticking to his guns and telling the truth. It is John and Mary on one side and then there is the whold other town. I think that Abigail needs to be shot.

I think Hale has progressed the most this story. He statred out getting very into his job. Making sure everyone who was accused was in court. However through out the the court sessions he starts to realize more of the shams the girls are pulling. So obviously I think he has changed for the better. Because he is trying to tell the court these girls are pretending. He impacted Abigail and the girls in a bad way claiming they were frauds. As far as Mary Warren goes he defended her and believed her.
Mr.Kay,
Today I will talk about the book you have me reading. Huck Finn. Well so far I think that is a really good book, i'm not gonna lie. But the only thing I have a problem with is the chapter I'm on right now. I just finished with chapter 13 and I didint really understand what was going on. So I think what I'm going to do is reread it and then go from there. Other then that I really like it. What was really interesting to me was the part where he went into town to get info., dressed as a gril. I thought the lady must have been really clever in order to figure out that huck was faking to be a girl.
Brittney Cooper
In this story so far, Mary Warren has changed a lot. At the beginning, she was obeying Abigail, even if it was at her mercy, and she followed through with the accusations in court. She also helped frame Goody Proctor by hiding the needle in the poppet. But, as time went on, she realized that she couldn't deny that the whole dilemna was just a lie. So, she started speaking in the defense of the accused and proceeded to go to court because she felt the whole thing wasn't right. She has impacted the life of John Proctor who finally spoke out about his affair with Abigail, and decided to fight against the witchhunt, too. Mary Warren also impacted the life of Reverend Hale. Reverend Hale has turned against the accusations, too. His eyes have been opened to the truth.

One character that I would like to talk about is Mary Warren. Her character changes positively and negatively throughout the play. At the beginning of the play, she wasn't a major character. She was one of Abigail's friends, and didn't disobey when she told them not to tell anyone what happened in the woods. In act two Mary followed Abigail's order to give Elizabeth Proctor the poppet in order to frame her. Then I think Mary changed for the better. She was beginning to tell the truth in court about what had happened in the woods, and helped Proctor and Hale prove their case. Then, Mary changed for the very worst in the end of act 3. She was turning on Abigail and the girls in the woods, so they plotted against her to frame her. Once Mary realized she was going to be the one getting in trouble, she took Abigail's side. She blamed all of her actions on John Proctor and now the innocent are being punished for the girls actions. I think that Hale and Proctor could have settled the chaos going around in Salem if it weren't for Abigail, Mary, and the other girls.
I have picked John Proctor. I think he has changed for the good. He is realizing that all of the trials are getting out of hand. One persons he has impacted is Abigail. He sees that she is lying and he doesn't like it and he snapps and rys to tell the truth. The other persons life he has impacted with his new train of thought is his own. He has set him self up to be hanged by saying that he had an affair with Abigail. If it turns out that he is telling tthe truth his rep will be gone. But i guess hes being a good man cuz he is sabatoging his self for the better of Salem.

I think Rev. Hale progressed during the story because at the beginning he was looking for witiches. Then at the court hearing he changed his mind about witches so he said to Danforth that he is not working at this court. I think Rev. Hale changed for the better because he won't go looking for witches and getting them arrested like Elizabeth Proctor. Also I think he knows now it was wrong what he was doing. A character that might have been impacted is Danforth because he was the judge that was arresting witches and maybe the next time he will think about it. Another character that was impacted was Rev. Parris. I think this because he only cared about his reputation and next time when something else is going on he will be more involved.

I think Mary Warren has progressed into someone who was under control who is now in control. Abby had Mary on a leash, as with the other girls. They listened to Abby and her directions which led them into trouble. In court, Marry seems about to crack under pressure from the adults and judge in the court room. As she seems to be in her downfall, she becomes in complete control in proctors destiny and if he makes it out of the court room alive. This is bad how she impacted Jonhs future simply because she could get him killed. She does the most unexpected thing and calls John Proctor out for being the Devil. She also impacted the judge by changing the direction he was going. I thought Mary was screwed and the judge was close to sentencing her to death. Mary threw a curveball and made the judge think twice.

I think that person who changed the most was Proctor. When we first started reading the book we learned that he was not a very dishonest man. He had an affair with Abigail and he never told the truth about it. At the trial Proctor admitted to having an an affair with Abigail. After that he started acting very wierd and people were starting to believe that he was apart of witchcraft. Mary Warren starts to spill the beans when she starts to tell everyone that he was trying to get her to sign the Devils book. I think Proctor has impacted everyone in the courtroom by letting them know that he is a witch. He mostly impacts Mary because he tells her to sign the Devils book and he says he will murder her. I think that would leave a lasting impression on Mary and thats why I think he has impacted her the most.

Some one that progressies during the story would be Rev. Hale. In the beginning he is is summoned to examine Betty's body but then he turns. He forces confessions out of Tibuba and helps the girls get away with this plot. The change he makes is for the better in the third act he relises that proctor may be right. He starts to feel bad and turn sides and starts to help John. But it is too late and the girls have alot of power in the court. He impacted Tibuba by belizing Abgials word over hers and forces a confesstion out of her. He also impacted Abigail by encourging her to confess and to give him names of those who where with the Devil, though he oly nedds a few she gives him a list of people.
Shaun Gerber
the character i choose is abigail. i think its amazing throughout the story how shes minipulated so many people with her lies. she started off with her small band of girls that went out dancing in the woods. then progressing through the story she amounted so much power with both the reverends and the court. it shows how screwed up the court system was back then, if a 17 year old girl can pretty much control the court then it doesnt say much. abigail has never really changed that much but if she did throughout the text it would definatly be for the worse. the two characters she has impacted the most would have to be john proctor and his wife.
Andy b
I think Mary Warren was an easily persuaded girl, letting Abby push her around. Throughout the play, she was edging more and more away from her 'superior', trying to atone for the chaos she started.
She was trying to change for the better, but her delusional self doesn't help. Seeing the 'spirits' could've been the effect of the mold on the Rye bread. (remember this one?) And when she had fainted in court was most likely stress building up from her inner quarrels. She couldn't help what was to happen earlier on because she was naive. It wasn't poor Mary Warren's fault that she couldn't control Abigale's cruel actions against her. She impacted on Mr.Proctor and Reverend Hale, but no one else believed her besides John Proctor after the screaming fits in the hearing.

(i like playing John Proctor. YOU SHOULD MAKE THE OTHER STUDENTS BE MORE EMOTIONAL SO I CAN READ THE TEXT HOW IT SHOULD BE READ!!! :D )
well, i think that abigail wouldnt fit here, in my view. so i think that proctor is one of the most interesting, and big role in this play. I think this because he shows everyone that he honest, and a man who knows what he is talking about. then as the story progresses, we find out that he gets freaky with abby, and he lies about it to everyone. he is also against witchcraft, and refuses to talk or be around it. his feelings toward abby impactedd his wife in a neg. way cuzz abby is after his wife, and shes trying to get rid of her so she can hav proctor all to herself. but he decides that hes doing wrong, so he wants to stay faithful. but then abigail goes off and tells everyone that elizabeth is a witch so she gets arrrested. mary warren has ben linked to all this cuz shes like abbys bitch, shes helpin the set up.

At the beggining of the story i thought reverend Hale was to proud to admit he was wrong. He has changed because in Act 3 he realizes he made a mistake. He went around to the Proctors house and accused her of being a witch. During the trials Proctor provides good evidence but nobody believes him except Rev. Hale. He definatly changed for the good because he doesnt want innocent people to go to jail. He believes in Due Process, essentially helping Proctor get his wife back. Also, he quits the court, which will effect Danforth and the rest of the court because he was supposed to know and be good at telling if a person is a witch.

I chose John Proctor because he started off really cockey and thinking that he was above everyone. When the play went on he started feeling guilty for his actions. He is also the only one sticking up for the accusted because they arn't actually witches. Proctor defiantly changed for the better. I think he affected almost everyone because he is getting the ball rolling to stop this "witch hunt". He impacted Abagail by the affair, which was the beginning cause of the witch hunt. Proctor also impacted Rev. Hale, since he made him question the witch hunt and deep down Hale knows that this is wrong. John Proctor at first had a bad effect, but as Proctor came to his sinces he had a good effect.

The character I see made progresion was John Proctor. At first he did not want to admit he had an afair with Abigail. Now at the end of the Act he broke down. He admited having a relationship with abigail and is worried about it. I think this impacts elizabeth and Abigail the most. Elizabeth because it puts a strain on there relationship. Abigail because it can have her get in more trouble.
john's reputation is going down hill very fast.
Mr. Kay,
One of the people changing right before my very eyes in this book is Rev. Hale. He started being this little person being pushed around and following due to fear of loss of reputation. Now, he is this big man doing something for the town, instead of himself. Obviously, he is changing for the better. Now he really wants to fix the corrupt legal system and make sure no more falsely accused witches (all of them) are not hanged. He has impacted Elizabeth Procter because that is when he started being all like," Whoa Whoa Whoa hold on." and he wants to help her and he is trying really hard. Also, not generally, but all the witches because he just wants to stop them from being killed. Another developing person is John Procter. He was a sinner, now he is becoming the big man and being the smarter and is being very helpful the witch crisis. He has impacted many people. One in which is Abigail. I think if he didn't have an affair with he she would have gotten jealous and get mad at Elizabeth and start this whole thing. Another person is Hale because he made him realize the stupidity of the courts. He also changed for good. Well those are a couple influential people in the Crucible.

I need some bandwith for e-mailing a video I've worked on lately. I may not do one this evening
The character I think made the most progression would have to be Proctor. In the beginning Proctor was seen as a person who cant accept the sins that he has committed. He does not want anyone to know that he committed adultery. He finally began to make amends with his wife. He tried his best and she forgave him for the most part. Then he started looking into the trials that were being held for the people who were accused of being witches. He called out Abigail in front of Danforth and got Hale to back him up. He finally admits that he has cheated on his wife. To me that shows a lot of progression for John Proctor.

ill pick Giles first because he started off as not a very good person. as he went on in this story he really started to come around. in the later part of the book he really started to understand that what they are doing is wrong. so he tried to explain to everyone that he is right about all of this. my second one is parris i think all hes worried about was his reputation in the beginning of all this. he really want to protect his daughter so no one thinks shes a witch. by the end of the story he was more worried about his niece and daughter getting arrested. she will probably be hung to.
One person I have noticed has progressed is John Proctor. In the beginning he seems to be a loyal and trustworthy man. As we got further into the story, we learned that he had an affair with Abigail, and because of this he was no longer a trustworthy person. He lies to the town about the affair and just acts like nothing happened. With these facts, John Proctor has obviously changed for the bad. John has affected many people in this play such as Abigail and his wife. John has affected Abigail by being part of this whole affair thing. He made Abigail feel like he really liked her. He has also affected his wife Elizabeth majorly. By him having an affair with Abigail, it caused Abigail to hate Elizabeht and that caused Abigail to try and kill her and eventually get her taken to jail. If it weren't for John, none of these things would have happened.

I think Rev. Hale came in worried about his reputation a little bit like Parris but in a different way.If he did something wrong that he might lose his good name.He came to Salem to find the "the witches" and believed the same garbage the judge and everyone else believed. So as the story progressed he started to believe John, Elizabeth, and Mary.He only cared for the safety of the people and to show Abigail Williams as the one of wrong doings. He impacted the whole town first off.He did this by coming in believing Abigail, Betty, and Tituba. Then at the end he tries to save John and Elizabeths lifes by saying Abigail was lying. This really didnt work much in the and once John had lied and was accused of being the devil.6th
I think Mary Warren has changed a lot since the beginning of the story. At the beginning of the story she was just following what ever Abby told her. She also didn't have much say in what was going on. But now she is in the middle of the court room being confronted by adults. She is being asked questions about things that makes her have to make a decision to tell the truth or lie to keep her friends and make everything else more confusing. This is affecting the girls that were also in the woods and Abby. Mary Warren is gaining authority over Abby and depending on what she does could ruin abby.
Taylor wattles
A person that I believe has changed is John Proctor. Not only for the good, but in a certain way for the bad as well. The good reason is, he has really grown to his wife Elizabeth. He went from cheating on her, to not wanting to let her out of his sight. I first thought this was for his own protection of his reputation, so he could make up for the fact that he cheated. John has stayed dedicated to his wife through out everything that has happened with the accusation of her being a witch, and they made their way through there disagreement about Abagail. One thing that has changed for the worse would be that during the court room scene, when John Proctor was in there with Abagail, he attacked her. Yes, what she was saying was a lie, shady, and wrong, but that's just how she is. John on the other hand could have controlled himself from attacking her, and shared his anger with words not physical contact. Though his reasons for the sudden burst in anger were good, and trying to protect his wife, but that could of given the judge the wrong idea.

I am going to talk about Proctor. In my opinion he has changed a lot for the good. I say this because he is trying to protect the town. I mena he is at least attempting to keep the witch thing under control, but it's not really working right now. Another thing is, totally different, but at the begginng he is still kind of wants abigail and now he doesn't really want to do anything with her. Now one character he has affected is Hale because they both agree that there aren't really witches and at least not as many as are said to be. Another character is Mary Warren because he has helped her and she has helped him.
Ty Bouwens, 6th hour
I think Hale has had a big impact on people in the story. He first came to the town to "find the devil" and make people confess. He impacted Tituba by making her confess at Parris's. He also impacted Proctor by going to his house and talking to him before his wife was convicted of witchcraft. In the begining it seems like he is here to get a better reputation and defend his. It also seemed that he went by what ever parris said is corrrect because he is a reverend. In court he starts to defend the accused becuase its all geting out of hand. Overall I think he made a turn for the better because he starts to think more of whats going to happen to these people instead of what ever parris says goes.

on person that has changed in the story is john proctor. the change that he made was a good change. he is just getting to realize the trials are getting out of hand. the person the he impacted the most is Abby. he knows that she is lying to him, so he try's to tell the truth. he set him self up by saying that he had an affair with Abby. if he is telling the truth it could ruin hes name.
Rev Hale has changed alot during this story. When he first came to salem he had power and people thought that he was a great man. He thought that salem had a reall witch problem and thought that his power could help the people and found the devil that was within. In the begining he was a prob;em to salem. He was the person to see if they had the devil in them. So he was the person who decided if that person were going to die. Later on in the story he realizes that this while thing has gotten out of control. He notices that people are just accusing people that they don't like. So he comes to his grips and starts to thing of what he is really doing. So he starts to save some people and wasn't as determined to find a wicth.

Mr. Kay,
Thomas Putnam has changed during the course of this play. He has changed during the play in a good way. He has become more outspoken and stronger. He has chnaged the way people think of Parris. He has spoken out to Parris about how he thinks he is everything in the world. MAny people have walked in his footsteps and talked to Parris about how they disagree with his ways. He has made Salem,a better place to live and made it more of a democracy.
I have chosen Abigail. Her transformation as a character is kind of iffy. At the beginning of the story she was still a liar. I think over the course of the play she was driven mad with power. I think the feeling of being listened to and be the high power went straight to her head. With all the witchcraft hysteria i think that Abigail is starting to believe her lies. Before Abigail was just a bitch, she was bossing people around and having an affair. But when the opportunity to hold power came to her, she took it to the nest level. I honestly cant choose the two people she has impacted most. She ignited the Salem witch trials. Without Abigail none of the Salemites would have been impacted by witchcraft. The play tends to focus in on the Proctors as the most impacted, but thats just because we don't know the other Salemites. I'm sure she has locked up many, wives or mothers, or daughters or husbands ect. In that sense she has affected many families the same. So the transformation of Abigail character and morals is hard to decipher but whatever change was made, it was made for the worst.
Well turns out a evening's work might be wasted thanks to a memory 2 sizes too big. I'm have a throbbing headache so much I can hear my pulse in my ear canal form this much stress. I can't really think tonight and if I forced it it would come out dumb. i only want to do quality work.
The character i will be talking about is Rev. Hale. I think he has changed dramatically over the course of the story. When he first comes around, he accuses even the innocent of being guity. he is now starting to realize that most arent witches, just that others accuse innocent to save themself. Overall i think hale is just trying to help out in the court room, by bringing justice. But i think hale is having a hard time persuading Dansforth that the truth is that Elizabeth is just trying to save her husband. So he has impacted Elizabeth is the court room. Also, he has impacted John Proctor. He impacted john by trying to show the court that he loves god and that he wants Abby gone.

elizabeth is kinda of a background character in the begginging but then she starts to have more importance. after john and Abigail have an affiar and elizabeth finds out she lets it go because she is the wife. she fires Abigail from her job as thier house keeper. in act II we start to see her speak up. her and john get in an arguement about why he was at Salem. also in the court room she doesn't come out and say that they had an affair. she only says that she thought john might have "fancied" Abigail. she does this to protect John's good name. by doing this she aslo affects Abigail because that keeps her out of trouble at the same time.
One character that i think has progression was Rev. Hale. He started off the play with coming to Salem to find all those people who were witches. Many girls were sent to jail, or they got killed. After a while, Rev. Hale started to realise that something wasn't right. He thought that you have to have evidince before accusing someone. He has changed by seeing that the devil wasn't really in Salem. Now hes trying to fix what he had messed up.
From what we have read in the story, Reverend Hale seems to changing for the good. The first time we read about him, I learned that he only came to Salem to gain a reputation for himself as being an expert in witchcraft. He wanted to help save people from the devil. When the court cases began, he signed many documents accusing citizens of witchcraft. Then, I saw the first change in him when he starts to question the court's decision on charging Rebecca nurse with withcraft. I think that this is the turning point for Hale, because it is when he starts to realize how absurd the court is truly being. Now, in act 3, John Proctor is letting the truth be known to the court. When nobody believes him, Hale speaks up and says that he believes him and that he finds him to be a Godly man. Hale tries to show others how ridiculous the whole problem is. Then, we see him walk out of the court when he decides he can't take the intolerance of the people. Although he still isn't putting his life on the line to try to set the problems he's caused straight, he is still beginning to step up.

The person I think has changed the most would have to be John proctor. In the begining of the book we learned that he was not a very dishonest man. I think he has changed only for the good tho. He had an affair with Abigail and he never told the truth about it.At the trial Proctor admitted to having an an affair with Abigail. John shows everyone that he honest, and a man who knows what he is talking about. He impacted Abagail and Elizabeth by the affair, which was the beginning cause of the witch hunt.

I choose Marry Warren. In the beginning of the story Marry was a girl that had no power. As the trials started she gained considerable power, since she was with Abigail’s group. She began defending the Procter’s. When the court was falling apart she claimed John Procter was a witch. I don’t know why she did it, maybe it was to save her own life. Her accusation affected both John and Abigail. This ruined Abigail’s plans to get Procter. Now Abigail must find a way to save John without incriminating herself. In conclusion she changed for the worse and brought down John and Abigail with her.
John Proctor because he started off really cockey and thinking that he was better then everyyone else. i believe lohn is the the only one sticking up for people who are being accused because they ar not actually witches. Being me i would be doing the same thing. One person i think that he impacted would Abagail because of the affair. I believe this was the cause of the witch hunt. Also i believed John impacted Rev. Hale because he had questioned him about the witch hunt.
Abigail is the character of my choice. Only because she is my favorite though lol. She was already pretty bad in the beginning of the story. She was, and still is, a snoot. It was bad enough that she got proctor to have an affair but now she is blaming people for witch craft! That's pretty much as bad as murder. She made an impact on the whole city town thing. For some reason though I just think she is amazingly funny.

I think that John Proctor is a person that has changed for the better. At first proctor had an affair and kept it secret to protect himself. He felt terrible about it but it seemed like he didn't want anyone to know the truth. Then at the end of act three after abigail had already accused elizabeth, proctor tells the truth. He was trying to show everyone that abigail is a bad person and doesn't deserve the power to make such false accusations. After confessing the person running the whole court asked elizabeth about abigail. Elizabeth still thought that they were trying to protect john. After john confessed it affected elizabeth because now they know elizabeth can lie and she really could be a witch. Also by john changing, it has affected abigail. People are now starting to see through her and see that she really is a bad person. John is a very good person and he has really changed throughout the story.
I noticed that Rev. Hale seemed to change the most through the whole story. He began as a jerk, the man who was right about witches no matter what. He thought he was the answer to Salem's witch issues and could perform some kind of miracle. Also, he based the persons innocence on thier knowledge of the Bible. That is just ridiculous considering people that go to church dont know everything about it. Towards the end Hale realized it was all just a whore's jelousy and vengance. That everyone took it all out of hand and it should of been stopped the day it was started. Hale i think impacted everyone because in most cases he was the one to decide on your life. He impacted Giles corey because he told the courts what giles said about his wife and got her hung. He also affected the nice elderly women. She was a good women her whole life and he sentanced her to death for murder.

I would like to discuss the progression of Revereend Hale. Reverend Hale comes to the town of salem looking to quickly and efficiently get things done. He comes to the townn and is trying to get to the bottom of things as quickly as he can. However towards the end of act 3 we see him change. He affects2 main people, Abigail, and Tituba. Abigail is getting questioned and she admits to being a witch. Her head is now on the chopping block. Elizabethis set up through chain reactions of events once abigail is convicted. Abigail tries to get to john and to get the attention off herself so she blames it on someone else. I thnik it all goes back to rev. hale because he was so easy to get into convicting people that many innocent people were convicted my heresay.
john proctor, he started out saying he thought his wife was a witch, then when he went to court he said he could have been wrong. he changed his mind because he felt bad because he might have been wrong about his accusation's. he felt her reading witchcraft books would stop him from praying so he said he thought his wife was reading witchcraft books. it ends up impacting his wife and Mary warren because his wife gets thrown in jail, and Mary warren is being accused of witchcraft.
This evening I would like to talk about John Proctor. I believe that he has changed for the better. He has gone from a cheater to a caring and loving man. He has impacted the life of Abigail and his wife, Elizabeth. He has made Abigail go mad with lust. He has impacted Elizabeths life by being there for her and loving her.

Mary threw a curveball and made the judge think twice

well, to continue on with reverend hale, we could definitely see he had good intentions with the town, but over the course of the book, i saw him go to the dark side of the matter. as i mentioned on mondays blog, we could easily tell he was trying to get tituba to confess more names of people she was with in the woods, and although we know they were up to no good, sometimes thats between different people. but reverend hale just kept pressing tituba until she confessed abigals name, which then, with the flow of the events, caused her to start accusing the town of being witches.
so in reality, reverend hale caused all of this to happen. this whole story. now, you see, his intentions were good, no doubt, but he inadvertently caused the murders of many a many people in the town of salem
