If I could describe my self in one word it would be music. Music is my life, I listen to it all the time. I listen to it in the car, at school at home and everywhere else. In the car I usually listen to XM radio. I mainly listen to channel 20 on 20 whcih has a lot of good songs. I normally listen to my Ipod everywhere else. I don't really have a favorite type of music, I listen to almost everything. I pretty much have a favorite song in every genre. You can make music be how ever you want it to. It all depends on the song you listen to.
Lakeland's varsity volleyball team now has the title of "District Champs" since last night. At Hartland High School, the eagles took down Howell in a 4 game match. The eagles rocked the first 2 games, but let Howell back in for the 3rd game. After game 3, the eagles finally put down Howell and got the title. Last year, the team lost to Walled Lake Northern in District finals but lost. It was great to win because girls that were on the team last year beat Northern and won Districts. Now, the team will move onto the first round of regionals and are expecting to go to states.
In this blog I would like to acknowledge my best friend; Becky Laughon. She's pretty much awesome. Tonight we're going to a ska concert which basically sums up her awesomeness. She's nice, not judgemental and extremely easy to talk to. I can trust her with pretty much anything. She's just reliable. She also steers away from drama which is good. She doesn't revolve her world around materialistic and meaningless things. She values my friendship just as much as I value her; she is my best friend.
wow this is so much of a free blog. i mean we have to teach someone they didnt know about us already. so one thing people might not know about me is that i dont like to more work then needed. i think that somettimes that doing the minuim work is a good thing. it is a good thing because you might do the wrong thing and if you put to much work into the wrong thing it would be a waste of time. so why waste your time doing something you do have to do or want to do. that is what my blog is about.
Alot of people might not know that i'm a pretty goo bowler. Yea i's pretty geeky but i'm really good at it. I have about a 170 average and am planing on trying out for the school team in a couple weeks. Bowling runs in my family. Almost everyone in my family bowls. My uncle has actually bowled a 300 multiple times and has his name in century bowl and airway lanes bowling alley for acknolegement of his acheivements. So bowling came naturally to me and last year was the first year i really started working hard at it. I am going to make varsity this year because the coaches last year already discovered my talent. It will be different not being the best on the team this year, but I am planning on practicing alot, and if i am consitent, i will make it to the top of varsity.
This Evening I will blog about the Marching Band. Currently, in Flight II we are 5th in the state. Our show title is "American by Design". Marching is alot harder than it looks. You have to march forward, backward, and sideways. You also have to memorize the music you have to play. We compete on Saturdays at different times of the day. Tomorrow 11/7/09, we go to Ford Field for State Championships. Next Thursday, we leave for Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. I hope we come out on top this year as " grand national champions". GO L.H.S.M.B. Chris Daniels

Something that people might not no about me is that i snowboard. only my snowboard friends no i snowboard i will share it with you. Snowboarding is probably my favorite thing to do. It feels so good to glide down the hill, and to doing some tricks. Another great part is hanging out with your friends all day. This year i got a season pass, and i cant wait to hit the slopes. I also got a new Burton snowboard last year and boots so its gana be aspecialy awsome. The only bad thing is that u can get heart pretty easily, i experienced that last year when i destroyed my tail bone twice! they need to come up with butt pads or something haha.
My free blog will talk about my love for roller skating. I use to compete in competitions but now I just do it for fun. I am very experienced on skates and can do alot of tricks on them. My firends an I usually go every week or every ohter week. It is my way of having fun. Its a way I can hang out with my friends and do something fun. The only thing I dont like abou it is how bad it hurts my feet. I get over it though and continue doing it. I am actually going tonight with a bunch of freinds. Hope I have fun.
Something that people dont really know about me is that im good with computers. I can do a lot with them. I know a lot about what things do, where they are, and how to use them. I can take a windows notepad and make it do things people wouldn'y expect. How many people know that if you type the rights things in notepad and save it the right way, that you can open an internet window. Or open a file. I am usually good at helping people with computer problems and if there is something I dont know I can usually figure it out pretty fast. Without help. And thats pretty much all I have to say...
The first thing that comes to mind when someone says importance is gymnastics. Gymnastics is or was my life. I started gymnastics when i was just a toddler 3 years old to be exact. Ever since then i've just been taken by the sport. Every memory from 1st until 8th grade was about gymnastics. However, something disasterous happened in 8th grade. Everytime i went to gymnastics i found my back was hurting me and was stopping me from doing skills. After a couple weeks of this my mom finally took me to a doctor. In the gymnastics world he is known as "The Miracle Doctor". When i went to him he started looking for a stress fracture in my back. It was a long journey of trips up to michigan state(where hes located), missing school, and going to the hospital. I had a CAT scan, MRI, and some other scan. Finally the doctor came out and told my mom that i actually had a huge herniated disc and a buldging one right under it. From that point on my life was changed. I had to quit gymnastics. Then it seemed like doctors became my life. I had physical therapy for 6 months and i had to continue going up to michigan state now i have to go to the chiropractor twice a week. Ever since this has happened i've copletely changed. I started slacking in school and i felt super lazy. The only sport i can do is cheer. There is a big difference from going to practice 5times a week for 4 and a half hours each time to going to practice 3 times a week for 2 hours. The only good thing that came out of this situation was I didnt have to have back surgery. Through this experience I learned to hold on as long as you can to what you have and treasure it because you don't know when it's going to be gone.
For this evening I am going to blog about softball. Softball takes up a lot of my time. But that is okay, because I really enjoy it and everything i take out of it. I think that people that play sports or that are ever on some type of team, are always better off in life. Playing a sport can teach you so many different things that you can take away from the sport and use in your life. Such as team work. You don't always have to do everything alone, people are here to help you. When you practice and practice a sport over and over again, you not only get better, but you learn new things that you can take and improve on. Softball is a big part of my life, but that is okay because its not pnly a sport, it teaches you many other things along with it.
Because of peer pressure, some people can't make their own decisions or even make any with common sense. The ones who love you most will want you to make the right choices and control what you do. If you choose the wrong path, people will notice the change. You may feel as if you can do certain things just because you are simply aging. How could that be logical? People will always push you in a direction that you may not be destined to go down. You don't have to believe me... the way that I see it, The next time you try and blame someone for changing, make sure that your hands are clean. If you are trying to save someone from themselves, make sure that you are a good role model to them. Its just my humble opinion, but its one that I believe in. You don't deserve a point of view, if the only one you see is you.
