I think "Into the Wild" became a best seller because of the values and themes in the stroy. These themes and values are included in everyone. Some poeple just don't show some of these qualitys. Everyone can relate to this story some so it was made into a movie and we use it in the class room. This book also teaches us live lessons. The themes and values that interested us were independecne, transcentdentalism, and many more. Many people like these themes and values so there fore they liked the book. they liked the book so much it became a best seller used in classrooms and made inot a movie.

I think "Into the Wild" became a bestseller because in some way, you can relate to it. Either if it's that you never got along with your parents or you always had a big goal that you tried people can relate to it. Also, it is a very compelling story that can catch your attention very easily. It's not everyday that you read a story about some kid who goes out into the wild and he eventually dies there. This book shows so many lessons in life, like pursuing your dreams and to stand up for what you believe in. I think that everyone in their life could use a little nonconformity in their lives and Chris shows us that. Along with that, I think the theme of loss made people read this story. Sometimes it's good for people to read about other peoples's losses to show you how good you really have it. Altogether, "Into the Wild" deserves to be a bestseller and a classroom favorite.

"Into the Wild" probably became a bestseller because it was a story that was kind of unique. It's not everyday that a young man leaves his family and changes his name to just go and live in the wild. They made it into a movie because it was a book that could show different values and changes through time and that is the same reason we use it in the classroom today. The themes and values are what made people riveted to this book. Themes such as loss people could very easily relate too. When you can relate to something it makes it easier to comprehend and understand the emotion in the book. To me, the value of family really related to this book. For how easily Chris just got up and left his family forever, made me really appreciate family even more. I would never want to just leave my family, now knowing the pain they would all go through. But in the end "Into the Wild" was a great book that many people could easily relate to, and this is why it was such a great success.

i think "into the wild" became a best seller because people wanted to know more facts about alex. also i think its theme of indpendce had a great impact to. it show you how much alex did not belive in conformity. some of the themes of the book are non conformity and indpendce. it show non conformity because alex went to alsaka with no money after he crashed his van. he shows independance by living own his own and seprating himself from his family. that is how i think "into the wild" became a best seller.

nto the wild is a phenominal book. I feel like it became a best seller because of the lessons that Chris McCandless portraits. Transcendentalism and non conformity are uncommon these days, and people are drawn to the topic. Also, the place were Chris was found was very unusual, and sparked lots of questions among people. Once the book started selling, the word got around of how great it was and the selling wouldn't stop. Our class got assigned to reading this book, and I'm glad I got the privilege of further understanding these themes. Into the wild is a best seller because it changed the lives of many people.

"into the wild" has been a confusing book but it became a best seller? i think that this book became a best seller because of how a kid deprives himself of his family and society to become the "true non-conformist". i think that the story hit the point in the readers by having this kid set out in to the wilderness ends up dieing and his story is told by the notes/letters he left. it has been able to make a movie and so many copies because it is one of the only books like this that are true, and enough evidence to create a complete movie/book. i think the theme that made people ecstatic about this book is the non-conformity portion of this story. the values that Chris/Alex has set are hard work and dedication. this book has been everything from best seller to movie and now a riveting story in the class room.

I think that "Into the Wild" became a bestseller because of the connections people can make with Chris/Alex. I would say that my connections are that I would have done the same thing, except I would have done things a little differently. I would have told my parents where I was going, I would have accepted things from the people that I met, and I would have kept in touch with my loved ones. Others would have done things differently than Chris/Alex and me. The book teaches people lessons to live for. They are independence, transcendentalism, love, and many more. Most people like these themes, most don't. Since people liked the book so much, they made into a bestseller that classrooms use.

There could be many different reasons for this book being a best seller. I think one of the biggest things is that people appreciate his act of non-conformity. Many people think that is cool how he is doing what he believes in. I think that this book also kind of gives people another view on things and the earth. Also when many people read this they can connect it with their life and enjoy it. It is also very different from other books people read, so they remember it. However, the biggest one is that many people appreciate his way of non-conformity. People who are "followers" i think like to read this because they envy the fact that Chris has the guts to take non-conformity to this level and they don't.

I think "Into the Wild" became a best seller because there are many values taught in this book. It basically taught that you can believe in what ever you want to like Chris did. I'm sure everyone can relate to Chris in some certain way. I also think it was a bestseller because how many people do you really hear about that want to go live in the wild with nothing. Chris was a unique kid and he had an amazing adventure and I think people should hear about it. I think this book is being used in classrooms because it basically explains to live for what you believe in and what you want to believe in. School is a good place to teach this because kids are still young and they can learn at an early age for when they get older. THe main value of this story that sticks out to me was non-conformity.

I think "Into the Wild" became a bestseller for many reasons. Some may have liked it because they liked reading about someone who will actually try to achieve there dreams. Like if they always wanted to be in a band but never was, they might like reading this book, to see somebody actualize do there dream. Or maybe they liked reading about somebody who gave up everything to go in the wilderness. Or maybe they wish they had the determination like Chris to try to achieve there goals. For themes and values, Maybe determination, or bravery. Also independents, and nonconformity. People would like these values and themes in books, because they can teach people lessons.

This book is easy for people to relate to and connect with and I think that is why it became a bestseller. Personally, I didn't really enjoy it that much but it was some what relatable. This book reminds people that sometimes you need to step out of reality and forget about the path you think you were made to follow. You need to grasp the sensation of nature and reconnect with what makes you happy. A lot of people follow this lifestyle of boring, guided paths. They never take the risk to follow something that they've always wanted to. They lose sight of their values, getting lost in everyone else's. This book brings them back and connects them to their thoughts of when they were a little kid, and had dreams they were convinced they would follow.

This book became a best seller because of it unique was of relating the story to others. The theams and values included in everyone so its easy to relate to. Since almost everyone can relate their was a movie made. It is showed in classrooms because it shows many ways of thinking for yourself and realisum. It wouldn't be in school if it didn't teach anything. Lots of people jsut follow in others footsteps before them and conform with everything. Chris thought for himself and lived his dream.

In my opininon "Into the Wild" became a best seller because of the values taken from the text. I think this book sold so many copies because we always hear of people doing things just because someone else did but this is a story about a kid that did the complete opposite. He invented a knew life and became a non conformant which we dont hear of very often. The theme that took me into the story was independance. So many kids say they are independent but are they really? MOst really arent because they still live by the rules of their parents and their parents still pay for most of their stuff. Teachers use this book in the classroom to teach us life lessons and let us interpret non conformity and transcendentalism in our own ways.

I think "Into the Wild" became a best seller because of the things you learn from it. Most of the themes in the book can relate to everyone. Not always in the same way but, in some way. The theme that I think most people like about the book is Non conformity. Not many people these days can truly call themself an individual. Reading this book made me feel stronger about not trying to fit in. I didn't like it before and after reading this book, I know that it's not interesting to be like everyone else and being your own person is very important. But I also learned that being who you are and following what you believe in is fine, but you still can't do whatever you want. This book was great!

I think that book got nest seller for a number one reasons. One is that it is a book that can teach you a a lot. The book can teache you about individualism. Also about value in things. Another reason I think that this book became a best seller is that everyone can relate to it in some way. This book is an easy read, it isnt long but it tells a lot. Finaly I think that this book is a best seller because it doesnt lose interest through it. Also you always have to pay attaention to reading it because of the jumping around. I remember one part that cinfused me a lot, I was readon that he was in alaska and then i was reading that he was crossing the mexican border.

There are many reasons why this book became a best seller. One of these reasons was because people could see themselves in Chris. Chris followed his dream and went to Alaska to try and live there. Chris didn't even think about quitting his dream until the week or so before he died. Chris showed that he is a non-conformist and he takes the road less traveled by. Some of the themes and values in this book were individualism, non-conformity, and transcendentalism. I believe that it was from these values that they made a movie from this book and use it in our classrooms.

The book "Into the Wild" is a bestseller for a reason. It demostrates many life values that are important to many people. Most of the book is about non-conformity and trancendentalism. The book is also about something that goes beyond the daily person because Chris's thinking was a lot different than others. I think people looked up to that and many even made a couple changes to think a little more like that. The article was a really big hit too so there is no reason the book shouldnt be. This is why I think the book was such a good seller.
