To me, being an individualist means many things. First, it means that you don't follow the trends if you don't want to. You do what you believe is right and you're proud of it. Also, I think that being an individualist means that you like who you are what you believe in, and you live by your own personal values everyday. The pros of being an individualist would be that you are happy with your beliefs and you're happy with the choices you make. On the contrary, the cons would be that you may not have a lot of friends because I believe that society cannot handle individualists sometimes. I am an individualist because like I stated before, I don't always have to be following the status quo. I wear and do what I want and I don't really think otherwise. Also, I am an individualist because I am not affraid to stand up for my beliefs. If someone says something that I don't agree with, I'll say I don't and I'm not scared to do it. In many ways I am an individualist.
To be an individualist is to be someone who likes to do things on their own. The pros of being an individualist would be that you are not depending on anyone to help you. If you had to be alone then you could manage because you didn't grow up always having someone support you. The cons of being an individualist would be you might not be able to make many good friends because you would perfer being alone. Everyone needs a friend they can count on and if you don't try to make any you could be missing out on something great that you don't even know of. I'm not an individualist except for sometimes i like to just be in my room alone and chill. But besides that i would rather be with people and have their opion on things rather then figure it all out on my own.
Being an individualist is a person who shows independence in their own actions and expressions. One pro from being an individualist is that your happy with your life. You get to live it your way and not get told what to wear or what to do. One con from being an individualist is that people would make fun of you. You would be a really easy target because you are an individual and no one else is liuke you. I am a little bit of an individualist. I am because I do or wear what I want and not because my friends or the people im with are doing or wearing it.
The Definition of individualist is a person who shows great independence or individuality in thought or action (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/individualist). To me, being an individualist is about being able to do and be whatever you want. Most people turn Goth just because they hate life, it's because they want to be different from the majority of people. But most people become an individualist not because others tell them to, but it's a choice that everyone has. I personally am not an individualist. Most of my friends are. Some are Emo, prepies, trekies, and many others.
i think an indivualist is a group of people. my frist reason is that it sounds like a plurral form of indivual. my second reason is that in groups of people that all share one goal. i think it is also some one that belives in what he is doing is right. people who belive in the the things that are generally right tend to be less of a nobody and more as a somebody. some pros would be getting to meet some new people. and maybe have some money. but the cons would have to be some one not leaveing you alone. also people trying to hurt you. that is what i think an indivual works.
I think bein individual is bein independant, doing this by yourself, and making dicisions by yourself and for yourself. Some of the pro's of individualism are that you dont have other people to influence you in bad ways, influence you to do things, to worry about, and more. Some of the con's for bein individual are that if you dont get something or you cant do it by yourself, and cant do it, because you wouldn't have anyone else there to assist you. Which does leed to the downfall of individualists. I am an individualist in a few ways. One is that I dont realy like group assignments in school because of other people's error, if they just want you to do all the work, or other things. Also because I like to just be alone sometimes. Thats realy the only ways I can think of that make me an individualist. But in many ways individualism is bad and good.
Someone who is independent, who is strong willed and who doesn't let anyone influence them is an to me, an individualist. When you don't depend on anyone to do something for you or to help you with something that might be necessary, you are acting as an individualist. When you stand up for what you believe in, no matter how bad things get for you, you are acting as an individualist. When someone tries to make you believe something else or tell you you are wrong, and you still stand up for your beliefs. You are acting as an individualist. Some pros to this, are that you don't depend on any one so you don't get let down or disappointed. But a con to being an individualist is that you can get lonely because you tend to eventually start to seclude your self from everyone. You break your self off because you get so caught up in being strong willed, and independent that you forget that you are still afraid of solitude.
An individualist is somebody who is them self, and dosent pretend to be somthing different. for example if everybody is wereing 1 brand of clothes because they think its cool, they wont were it just to fit in. They often express them self with the cloths they were, but it has more to do with there personal values. So if someone likes to were capes a lot, then there not gana stop just because other people don't were them. The pro's of being an individuals is that you can be yourself, and also my have more self confidence. Also you may be more happy because your doing what you want and not what other people want. Con,s are that you may not be friends with some of the more popular kids, and if you were capes then you probably don't have many friends, for obvious reasons. I'm and individualist in some ways, like everybody has Nike skate shoes now days, but im not gana buy them cus i skate, and there are definitely better skate shoes than Nike. Also alot of people are buying real expensive Oakley snowboarding goggles, when all you need are cheaper ones. Maybe it would make sens if there were mountains around, but all we have is a big garbage hill.
To be an individualist means to do things by themselves. They don't want anybody elses help. The con's of being an individualist would be that you would get lonely a lot and you wouldnt have anybody to hang around with. This would be really depressing and demoralizing. The Pros of being an individualist would be that you could do whatever you wanted to do to make yourself happy. Another reason would be that you wouldnt have to depend on other people to live, you would be able to live by yourself. I am about 50% individualist because i like to do things by myself and i can do them by myself but its always fun to have other people over and have a good time.
individualist "is a social theory advocating the liberty, rights, or independent action of the individual".there are pros and cons of a individualism life. the pros of having individualism is you are your own person and choose your own style of life. the cons of having this life style is most people wont accept you for being different. i think that i am some what of an individualism . one way i am an individual is i don't care what people think and i don't like to follow the crowd. that is my opinion on individualism.
To be an individualist is to be confident in yourself and what you do. To be careless, to be your own person, to be free. I feel like I am an individualist because I am a free spirit and I enjoy who I am and what I make out of life. The good things about being an individualist is how you are truely happy inside, and are careless of all the bad things that people may think. Some bad things that involve being and individualist is how you may be making a bad choice, but feel as if it is right for you. You may feel like you are on top of the world, but you still need to be cautious of the people around you and the world around you. To be an individualist is taking a risk as it is, and a person just needs to be careful as they follow that path.
To be an individualist can mean different things to many different people. To me it means to stand out in a crowd because of somthing that you may believe in. But, like we talked about earlier if you and a group of people are "rebelling" then its not exactly being an individualist, because your not doing it individually. When it is you and you are not doing the same thing as everyone else, by yourself, thats different. Its pretty much someone standing up for somthing you believe in, instead of you just going along with the status quo. Many people demonstrate this type of act everyday, because they want to make a point. Thats what I think of being an individualist is about.
I think being an individualist can be interpreted in many ways. To me i think it means being yourself and not following the crowd. The pros to being an individualist would be being able to say you are your own person. You can be whoever you want. The cons to being an individualist i think are really just fears. Fears of thinking no one will like you but really if you pretend to be anything but yourself people arent going to be liking you for who you are. Thats why i think it is so important just to be yourself.
Being an individualist to me is basicly standing up over the crowd, kind of standing out, and not following other, your a leader. As teenagers we kinda go with the flow tho were not really so much as individuals we just do what everyone else is. We start developing character right about now. One pro of being an individualist in my prospective would be being independant and not depending on others to do something first before you. My con ties into my pro. My con is you have to depend on someone else to do something before you and you jsut follow in their foot steps. Like i said all of us highschoolers are more on the follower side then the individualist side, not saying their aren't any but the majority of us are.
