Reminder that cutting and pasting other people's blogs is not acceptable. I do read these and saw two on yesterdays. The people who do this truly must not have understood the discussion on pride. Cheating or being lazy is far from pride.

Well Mr. Kay I think that you could gain a feeling of accomplishment. I never thought that I would make it past the 8th grade. I never tired in school. I have set new goal for myself. I would like to finish high school. I would also like to go into the military. To become a nurse or a cop. I think that I have set really good goals for myself. I think that when you have done the impossible that you will feel really good about your self. I would like to think that everybody can make the impossible possible. Even the kids that don't do anything. All they have to do is try. I learned that way to late in my school carrer. Remember these words. All you have to do is try.
Mr.Kay,
By doing something you didnt think you could do help's you to gain confidence. I think that when you tell yourself that you could never acheive an A in a class you cut yourself down and you cheat yourself. For example making Wind Ensamble my freshman year. Before I had found out if I had made it, I told myself that i could never be that good, or belong to such and amazing band. But, when I found out that I did make it i felt so great about myself. I felt like I under estimated myself and that I really could acheive something like that. But, I think telling yourself that you can't do something is better then saying oh ya sure I can do that. My reason for that is when you have too much pride you can over estimate yourself and feel disapointed when you don't get into something. My lesson from this is, Have pride but not to much pride.

Attempting to to do the seeming possible can give me the opportunity to gain many things. First off, if you attempt the seeming impossible, you gain a sense of self-accomplishment. Even if you don't succeed every time, you can know that you have tried and got as far as you did. You can see the accomplishment you made a be proud of yourself for it. By attempting to do the seeming possible you can also learn about yourself and others. When you try to accomplish the impossible, you may find that you have attributes that you never knew about. When you try to accomplish the impossible, you have to give your all. On the way you could learn about yourself. These are only two of the many things you can gain from trying to attempt the "impossible".
I think by doing something that you thought you could never do it proves something to yourself. You should never say you cant do something because truley you can you just have to try. I say i cant alot or i dont no how to do something but once i accualy try i get it. I dont think there is even a such thing as impossible because everything is possible you just have to believe in it. Its hard but if you really set your mind to something you can do it. I think everythings in your mind if you have a bad atitude toward something then it probally wont go good but if you have a good atitude and a smile on your face you will succeed. If you just try thats all that matters.

As stated in the quote i think its good for a person to set goals for themselves. by attempting to do the seemingly impossible, sometimes you may find out that it was possible after all. if you do happen to accomplish the thing that was seemingly impossible then you will have completed a goal you never thought you could conquer. its always good to try things out even though they may seem hard to do. it lets you know what your capable of. with that said the quote also made me think of being able to push yourself and give somethings your all. it all comes down to your will power and how good you are at using it.

There are many things I could and have acheived attempting the impossible. Before 8th grade I was scared to death of heights. Then the end of my 8th year came and we went on a field trip to Cedar Point. Now I didn't want to go, but my friend kept nagging at me over and over again. Finally I gave in and ended up going. Now my first thought was "I'm never gonna be able to do this" and that I would be the one waiting at the bottom holding everyone's stuff. Well I was wrong! The moment we got to the first roller coaster my "friends" all shoved me onto the ride. Now i'm scared to death thinking i'm going to die! Thankfully I didn't haha. But afterwards I was exhilerated from the adrenaline running through my body. From that point on I went on almost every roller coaster there. Now I love roller coasters, but i'm still afraid of heights (ironic).

Something I can do is apply myself more. I have been slacking this year and my grades have gone down. It seems to me at first I have a good work ethic but then everything slowly slips out of hand. I have been working on getting a solid work ethic back. I organized my stuff a bit more. Also I have been studying to help me on test. So far this term even though its only been 2 weeks I think it has helped me. I plan to work hard and finish this year better then when I started.

i think that everyone and anyone can achieve the impossible. many people today are lazy and have low confidence so they dont work to what they really havee [smartest]. i personally try not to talk so i can concentrate better but anyways i think that so many people around me discourage me, exspecialy in school, when i see everyone recievin A's on tests i feel like im crap cuz i got a C..so i judt feel like giving up. but i cant take it anymore so little by little im starting to get better at school, and to me it feels impossible to be like those A students, in math i got a B on a quiz for the first time in geometry i just dont get that stuff, i feel so proud i never thought i could do it. atleast im not failing, i feel like im improving every single day.

If you do end up doing the imposible you will be greatly admired. However, if you don't end up acheiveing, you can still gain a lot by the attempt. First off you learn a lot from your mistakes. This makes you much wiser. You also gain confidence during your trials and erors. Also, when you figure out how to work trials and erors, you learn to better comprehend things as well. Like when I didn't have anything organized for Journalism, I ended up getting a bad start. People told me I wouldn't be able to get my grade up. However, I studied and payed attention more and brough my grade up to an A. You should never give up.

A lesson or an experience is gained by attempting the seemingly impossible. and i'm not talking about wanted to fly impossible, or wanting to win the lottery. I'm talking about the seemingly impossible things that anyone can accomplish if they had the confidence and perseverance to do it. I think a good example of perseverance is my Dad. Through elementary and high school my Dad didn't give a crap about school. He rarely went to class and spent his whole day in the pool. When he graduated high school, the University of Michigan recruited him for there dive team. Once attending this school he decided he wanted to become a doctor. He quit the dive team and focused all of his energy and attention on school. Coming from a student who had never read a book in his life or attended little to no classes was held to the same standards as all of the other students. He pushed himself intensely, which is what i believe made his the great physician he is today. Many things will come from attempts. Failures or victories, both are important. and both are lessons that a valuable to learn.
I think when you accomplish what you things is impossible you get a few things from it. One thing is obviously accomplishment. Once you have accomplished that goal or the impossble you feel good inside you now know it is possible. Another thing you gain from it is confidence. You feek more confident now that you accomplish one of your goals and you now have more confidence to accomplish of them. A third thing you gain from it is that you learned some thing new about yourself. You learned that you can accomplish your goal you have set and you know how to do it. One thing that I think you can gain the most from this is PRIDE.

Well to me, if i think i cant do something but then go ahead and do it i feel happy and my confidence shoots way up. For example, when i first started snowboarding i was scared to do anything. I kept telling my self that i couldn't go off a jump cuz i would hurt my self. Samething with the rails because rails you could really hurt your self if you fell on them. But when i did my first jump my confidence rose and i started to try tricks. Then when i finally tried the rails my confedance rose even more. Now the only thing that i am afriad of is the big air. The big air is the biggest jump at Alpine. When someone tells me i can do something i try my hardest to do that thing. I perservere until i accopmlish that task.

Attempting to do something that seems impossible can give you a sense of pride and accomplishment. If you do something that you believe is impossible and you end up succeeding in it, then you feel like you accomplished a lot, and it makes you feel good about yourself and proud that you acheived your goal. Even if sometimes you fail at it, (which will eventually happen sometime)you still have the pride of attempting to do it, and thats what is the most important. Failing at something isnt always a bad thing though. It can be helpful, because it helps you learn from your mistakes, and you can strive to do better. Its all about you believing you can achieve something. The impossible can become possible, only if you belive it can.
Clare Pathe
By doing something that you're not sure if you can do helps you to gain confidecne, and maybe even help you find something that you never knew you were good at. By doing something that you may think is impossible will help you to gain better knowlegde of what you are able and not able to acomplish. also t will give you a better understanding of who you really are, and what risks you are willing to take. Some other cool things you can gain by dong the seemingly impossible are being able to taking risks and meeting new people with the same interest as you. Doing the seemingly impossible allows you to escape for your "bubble" and do thing that you nornmally wouldn't try. Lifes short take it as it goes, and never say never.

What you gain from doing something impossible is you either fail or you scucced. If yo succed from doing the impossibe is a huge bost of confidence. You feel invincible, and nothing can stop you. When people say that it can't be done but you still do it, it feels really good. It makes you feel like you are better than everyone, because you did it. It makes you feel uniqe. And for the people who said that you couldn't do it, you can tell them to shove it, and that feels good. For something that you try the immposible, but fail. YOu can learn from your mistakes. You probley won't ever do it agian, or you might try it again to fix your mistakes. But either way, if you fail or succed, you gain confidence and respect.

Well I think you can gain a lot by doing the seemingly impossible. One thing that I gain when I accomplish something is confidence. When I do something that I told myself I couldn't do it boosts my confidence and makes me want to accomplish more things. When I accomplish something I always get a feeling of enjoyment. I enjoy succeeding and doing things I never imagined of doing. Another thing I gain when I attempt to do the impossible is pride. I feel great about my success especially knowing that I did it by myself. I think many people underestimate themselves and what they are capable of. I know when I was younger I wouldn't try anything out of my comfort zone, but now that I'm older I realize that I can do or be anything I want.

What can you gain by attempting to do the seemingly impossible?
You can gain the impossible accomplishment. Everything that you work to do has a good reaction. like for instance. I nevr used to try in school. But not that i have i seen the reaction to that, and that is that i passed all my clsses and raised my grades up by a whole grade. Ever sinc i wasnt trying i was getting bad grades and my dad told me i had to wait two more months to get my licens. Well being i rose up my grades, now i dont have to wai anymore!! See everything, and i mean everthing has a good and positive reaction for you. You just have to wark at it a little to get it done and accomplished.
By trying to do the impossible you can gain many advantages. One of these advandages is that you may find it is possialbe and you might be able to comptete it. Just beacause someone says it is impossible does not mean it cant be done, they just say this beacause they couldnt do it. The quote says that Cisneros did not belive in herself which is half the battle to sucess, but after trying she found it was possable. After attempting the "impossible" then you may find ways to improve yourself though falts. Then after improving waht needed to be improved you may see yourself over coming the seemingly impossible. Even if you don't suceesed you may do better than you ever imagied was possable, just by trying. If you don't even try in life you will get nowhere and never get what you dream of.

Confidence can be gained in doing something your not familiar with. A new perspective can be brought to your attention and have the ability to connect with other perspectives. Every different situation has something different to offer. For example doing your own work for once and not having to copy someone elses. If you actually do it, you can understand why the people you copy off of give you a hard time. You gain hard work and dedication to finish something, like a sense of pride.
The difficult part to manage to do something in your life that you thought couldnt be done, is when you feel like giving up but you know you shouldnt because you can benefit from it. Hard blog I think.

By attempting to do the seemingly impossible, you can gain success, experience, and self-confidence. Many people do not try to reach for what seems impossible, and when they do, they may find that success is not as impossible as they once thought. On the opposite side, sometimes you may fail along the way. Failure is not always a bad thing though, because along with it comes experience. You can learn from mistakes that lead to failure and move on with new knowledge. Through persistence and hard work, reaching what may seem impossible can be accomplished. When you do finally reach your goal, you build your self-confidence as well. Being able to accomplish something that seemed so unlikely boosts your self-esteem and self-confidence as well as pushes you to do even more difficult tasks. Once one impossible feat has been overcome, others may not seem impossible anymore, and your possibilities can fly.

I think I can obtain my dream life if I tried the 'impossible'. Though I do not know yet what I would do to reach that high goal, and for now I will try to concentrate on my studies.
If I attempted to fight the raging current, I think I would lose my grip and be carried down the river. But if I tried kicking out against the supports my friends and family have built for me, I could dart out of the deep water and into my future.
Nothing is impossible, even if it looks like it. Just hold your ground, and brace the pressure. Fate will try and make you cower beneath it, but it will not stop you from acheiving your dreams.

Well really you don't know what your going to expect if you do the seemingly impossible. If you were to try and do something you don't normally, you won't know your results until after the event has taken place. Usually, you will surprise yourself. For example, someone I know has been struggling in school, I know they can achieve so much, because they're really smart. If they were just to push themselves, they can be a straight A student. Next year, when college arrives for them they're going to have to put forth a whole lot of effort to be able to maintain in the school. I know they can do it, but I'm not sure they know they can achieve so much. If this person were to put some more effort into their school work as well as others they would not be where they are today. Mostly, people won't push themselves to much, because they don't want the extra work. But little do people know, that you have to expect the unexpected.

Attempting to do what you think is the impossible can bring you greater self esteem. Each person sets goals and usually are things that you think are impossible. Impossible should never scare you because we all find the inner strength to make things happen. Once you set your mind to a certain thing you want to accomplish you make the impossible happen. Each goal we complete make us a stronger person. I am sure I will have a lot of "impossible" things that I will yet achieve. My goal is to try to complete high school, college and continue to help in the community...do I think this is impossible? The answer, would be no.
I have some personal goals that I would really like to accomplish, but sometimes it seems like I will never be able to achieve them. They seem so difficult and require so much willpower. It is easier to just say to myself, I will start working toward achieving my goals tomorrow. If I succeed, I will feel so good about myself. I will know when I achieve my goals, that I can do anything and that anything is possible if I believe in myself. Doing things that are difficult to achieve are worth doing. What I know is that anything that is worth working toward will bring great results. Things that are easy do not require much. Things that are difficult are the most rewarding when you succeed.
Mr. Kay,
I think that trying to make the impossible possible can help you set boundaries for yourself. For instance, if you think that you can do something others think that you cannot do, and you attempt it and fail, then you know that that is where you stop. It can also help you push yourself. When you push yourslef you seem to always get better at what you are working towards. As I said in class, you may have to go through pain, but it will make you stronger. When you push yourself, you may discover something new about yourself that you didnt know about before. YOu may learn that you may have different feelings about what you are doing and how your going about it. Making the impossible possible generally has no negatives, ony positives.
Tim Wilson
Mr. Kay,
When attempting to do the seemingly impossible, you can gain knowledge and expierence. I don't know if this matters but your question said attempt, so I'm going to base my blog on both achieving the seemingly impossible and failing to achieve the seemingly impossible. I believe that if you achieve the seemingly impossible that you gain knowledge. For example, lets say you entered to play on the TV show "Who Wants To Be A Millionair". You got chose to play on the show, and lets say you only used 2 of the help icons on the board. You got through all of the questions and ended up winning "Who Wants To Be A Millionair". Alot of people would consider that to be achieving the seemingly impossible. But by achieving that, you have gained so much knowledge, just by being in the audience, you are listening to the questions, and in your head you are thinking of the possible answers. Now lets say that you failed to achieve the seemingly impossible, I still believe that by failing you still gain both knowledge and experience. Lets say that you attempted to climb Mt. Everis, and that your attempt failed. By climbing that mountain, you gained experience because you have already climbed it, so the next time you try to climb it again you'll know what it feels like. And by failing you also gain knowledge. Lets say that when you were climbing, you only carried a small water bottle and only a little bit of food. Well the next time you climb that mountain, you will know to carry at least 2 good sized water bottles and more food.
Danielle Turner
What you can gain from attempting the impossible is just knowing that you can now do anything. For example in the story she didn't know how to make tortillas and she gave it a shot and she succeeded at what she thought was impossible. Another example from the story is that she didn't think she could wright that one tough paper. All she did was set her mind to it and she could nowe do anything. I think for me to compete something impossible would be to pass all my classes with an A. So far I am doing good. I would also like to go to OTC next year and go into the medical field.

Doing something seemingly impossible shows that you are willing to go outside of your comfort zone. You have everything to gain because even if you fail it is what you expected. It shows that you are a determined person who is willing to take risks even though there is a high chance of failing. It also allows you to gain an experience of something that you have never seen or tried before. You might even find it's easier than you thought it would be. If you can persevere through something seemingly impossible, you are set for life. Life is all about tests and challenges. If you can embrace these issues at a young age and learn how to deal with them then you can expect things. Accomplishing these impossible things may also make you feel better about yourself because you completed something you thought you wouldn't. Something seemingly impossible may not make you as scared as you originally were.

You can gain many things from attempting the impossible. One important thing is that you can learn from your mistakes. If you fail, you can reflect back on what you did, and pick things up from it. That way you may never do it again. You can also keep trying, and no matter how far you go, you will probably feel a sense of accomplishment. You will feel good about yourself and maybe even find some qualities that you never knew you had. You bring out your true self when you try your hardest and I think attempting the impossible fall under this category. These are just a few things you can gain by attempting the impossible.

Attempting the impossible is always a good goal. You gain the knowledge and the expierence from trying to attempt something. Also maybe the next time around you will be able to complete your goal. In life their are always things you think you never would be able to do. If you are ever able to acheive a goal you have a sense of pride. Confidence rushes over you and you feel motivated to do more. Even if you fail theres always the fact that at least you tried. Attempting the impossible can be scary and frustrating. In the end however it can be a wonderful lesson.
Cisneros comments, "I managed to do a lot of things in my life I didn't think I was capable of." What can you gain by attempting to do the seemingly impossible? Explain your answer.
I think that personally accomplishing something that i didnt think i could do, feels the best for me. I think that for as long as we dont try things we dont think we can do, we will never get anywhere as a person. I try to do things that i dont think i can do alot. I think we see this in school, sports, and our social life. I think that trying new things makes us transcendentalists. We all are trying to do new things and i think that when we do this, we are forced to try new things. Besides, if we all did the same routine and did nothing extra or on our own, where would we be today?
with attempting the impossible, you can prove that its not impossible, but also, you can prove all the people who told you that you couldn't do it. Also with doing the impossible, people may accept you, and your way of doing things, but makes me question, do they like me for nick visger, or do they like me for the choices i make? i know all those feelings. Although, by attempting the impossible, you can be proven wrong. which sucks. And i am very fond of failing. And I know how it feels to be proven wrong, time after time after time. It really makes you not want to be seen by anyone, or even in close proximity to anyone. sometimes that can last for a few minutes, to a few years. I may just be on the verge of that. Because i get pressured to be the god damn best thing i can be in everything, including stuff like scouting, which might get me far in life, but, i honestly hate every single part of it. This is one of those impossible feats, that i want to leave alone, because, i don't like it, and i was pressured into it. By none other than the people that love me the most. But i am aware of their good intentions, it just a possible feat, that i don't want to compete against, because exactly that. it turns into a competition, and, unless i know i have the upper hand, and know what i am doing, i don't compete, because, its the risk of failing, and not succeeding, which scares me the most. That is why i don't attempt the impossible.

Pushing your self past your own limits and comfort zone make you a stronger person. A quote by Larry Bird explains this "Once you find your biggest weakness make it your biggest strength". To do this you need to go over and above the expectations to accomplish this goal. In jobs you have to work with people you may not want to work with but you have to see it as a challenge and overcome it. My cousin Jessica was told by doctors that see wouldn't be able to walk and may not live past 10 years old. Jessica is now in her 20's and has walked since she was 3. This is a good example of the quote by Cisneros. All in all things that seem impossible make you a stronger person.

Mr. Kay,
I think that there could be a couple things you could gain from trying something that seems impossible. One thing is it could be a serious spirit lifter. If you can actually do what ever it was you set out to do, then your self esteem will be lifted a ton. For instance, if you think you can't run a marathon, and you actually do, and maybe even win, then you will be the happiest person ever. Also, if it is something weird that no one has ever done before then you can just have fun. Like say you wanted to fly, and you make little contraptions to help you fly, I am sure that experience will be fun. See I am not saying you need to succeed to take something good away from it, but the fun can come from the trying. I think that it doesn't necessarily matter if you succeed or fail, it is ultimately about trying. If you try and fail, you get the feeling like you have tried and done your best and maybe take something away from it. Maybe even a lesson about what to do next time. Also you can walk away with a sense of happiness that you had fun trying even though you didn't really do it. It is all about the process. So all in all, you can walk away with an accomplishment, a lesson, or even a smile, pass or fail.

You can gain a lot of things by doing the seemingly impossible. If you try something you don't think you can do, you might find out that you can actually do it. Cisneros says he managed to do a lot of things he wasn't capable of and its the same for us. It can be little things like a difficult homework assignment or something bigger like getting over a death. If you have dreams that you want to reach then just give up its kind of pointless. If you try, you could find out that its all in your mind and you were making a mountain out of a molehill. If it turns out to be even harder, then you are fighting for what you want and it will be even better in the end. Challenges make people stronger and people will feel better after getting something accomplished. Never give up.
Cisneros is saying a lot in this quote. A lot of people just mess around and do something they didnt they think they were capable of. If and when you discover this you could get a sense of pride, accomplishment, and most importantly confidence. You will feel pride beucase you will tell everyone you know and will like it. Also, when you gain confidence it will make you want to try even harder things, making you a better person in the long run. When I play golf and have a shitty round I feel like all my confidence goes down the drain and may have more bad rounds following. In contrast, If i play well I have a ton of confidence and feel like I can do anything.

to do something that you think that you can't do can actually gain some confidence. by doing something that you think that is impossible and accomplishing it will give you some sort of knowledge of what you can and can't do. it will also give you a better understanding on who you really are. some things that you can gain by doing the impossible is you might take bigger risks. you might meet new people. trying new thing might bring you out of that glass bubble that you are stuck in. life is too short to not do the things that you want to do but don't because you are to scared.
Until we do something that is considered as it's our limit, we do never know how far we can go or well we can do. That was true when I finished 5 mile track, who had never run 5 mile without break and had been thinking I won't be able to do it. And when we get to make it that we thought was impossible, we get ourselves improved, literally, amazingly. When I was in Korean high school, for another example, there were bunch of 'smartees', who were considered that nobody will break their barrier to access to the top ranks in the school. Themselves were invisible fears to everyone, discouragin them to challenge them. When I made a strong resolution to access to the top ranks, and, miraculously I ranked the 5th in the mid-term exam in the school. I learned, at the same time, they're nothing and I can do whatever I can unless I create fear in myself. Besides, one of the things we get from doing it is 'challenging spirit', which gives us far more opportunities in our life.
Doing what you thought you were not capable of doing is a great thing. During this you will not onlylearn that you are capable but you recieve the great feeling of accomplishment. Things such as getting good grades after disappointment in parents or other peers of your past grades. This is not prooving anything to them, they know you are capable. Its the now knowing that you can do it. for example you try and try to do a backflip but you catch your self always chickening out and turning to the side. but that one time you say to your self im going through with it and not turning to the side. you end up doing it and realizing you have just accomplished something you have always thought you couldnt have.

By attempting to do the impossible, you discover a part of you that you didn’t know you had. You develop higher self-esteem by mastering your challenge. Your task could lead you to discover future challenges. It was said that you couldn’t break the sound barrier. It was said that a man would never land on the moon. We did it. Due to that research, we have microchips, velcro, microwaves among other things. In conclusion, when you set your goal and over come the odds not only you, but the whole world benefits.
Doing more than what you believe to be capable, would be one of the greatest feelings there is. To feel that you put 100% into something and receive what appears to be 130%. I cannot help but to rub my chin in inquiry, I know this affects me in any/all ways possible. If it didn't this would just be a quote that you use to poke and prod us for input, and our opinions. For the blog, your ego can swell quite large and quickly. A new standard had been set in for yourself, and you must uphold it. Which comes to one of my thoughts, if history has ever taught us (besides not making fun of someone by the name of Gan-gus, and not put lead in your water) it's that if you make something awe inspiring make sure its the last thing you do because you will spend the rest of your career trying to live up to high expectations to yourself and other people.

by attempting the impossible you can discover hidden talents inside of you. if you try something you never have done before you might be good at it or like it. sometimes people are scared to try new things but they can have a good outcome.if we never tried different things that we thought we couldn't do our world wouldn't be very developed. people become succesful by pushing themselves to new limits. like in soccer i don't think i can keep running but after awhile once you get entranced in the game you forget all about it and you relize you could do it.sometimes we achieve things subconciously or by really trying hard. you never know what you can do unless you try.
I think by doing the seemingly impossible you can achieve greatness. So many people have become successful by doing something they never thought they were capable of doing. I never thought that I was ever going to be good at school or sports. Until I was in eighth grade everyone thought that I was lazy and stupid. This is when I started getting good grades and doing good at almost every sport I played. I did what everyone thought was impossible. Now when I think something is impossible I still try my hardest. You can gain knowledge and different abilities that you may never of had by trying the impossible.
What sometimes seems to be impossible i think would be accomplishment. Something that seems impossible to me that would be a accomplishment, would be me doing a back tuck. I've tried and tried to get it. and it just never seemed to click with me. but about a week or two ago i almost have it. It always seemed impossible. everything is possible, you just have to work at it and you've got an accomplishment.
I think you could gain confidence and accomplishment. You can gain many different things but i think thoes two are the most important. Even tho you may not succed or advance in what you are doing its knowing that you did something that you thought was impossible. When trying different things that you may not usually do you can gain confidence in so many way. Just knowing that you did it and didnt give up. If you follow throught with things you never know where you could end up. If you have a good attudtide with what your doing you will succeed. If you have a bad attudtide than you might not end on doing so well. I guess it really depends on who you react to things and how you act on them.
I feel if i did something that i thought was impossible. well i would be pretty proud of my self. it would also build confidence in myself and give me a high self esteem. i feel attempting the impossible is really nothing. i feel you can really do anything if you just put the most effort you can into it. i feel that you can succeed. Even if you don't defeat what your striving for its that you know you put all your effort into what you did for what you were going for. that's really all it takes is a little pride and determination. for a person to perform the impossible.
I think you feel three things by attempting the seemingly impossibe. Pride, accomplishment, and confidence. People don't try or attempt to get things they want in life because they may think they could never pull it off. I think that nothing is impossible. If you accomplish something you thought was almost impossible you just get this good feeling. Your proud you could do something that seemed so hard. You also feel accomplished like yor doing good. Fianlly, your confidence goes up. Ip you accomplish one thing that seems impossible you feel on top of the world. Any other "mission" or whatever you want to call it seems easy.

I think you could feel very proud of yourself. You could also gain confidence. Like say a hobo did something absolutely wonderful and ended up the richest man on earth, now that would be amazing right? All though he might get a little conceded. Yeeepppp.

Managing to do what was seeming impossible would certainly give you a strong confidence boost. This will mainly show you that you can strive to do more things that you have always wanted to do but never did them because you thought you couldn't. From doing the seemingly impossible you can learn new things and even find a new hobby you might like. For instance, many people are afraid of heights but they always say that they could never go sky diving. Well, from hearing different stories I have found that once the person makes that first jump out of the plane that it is an amazing feeling. The point is that if these people didn't step out of there comfort zone, didn't do what they seemed impossible, they would of never experienced what it really means to feel weightless while free falling. For me I would never do this. I am willing to try new things and in return I hope to find new adventures to make my life more enjoyable.

I think that by trying new things that you think you could never do can give you self accomplishment. Personally, I love the feeling after you do something that you never thought possible. There has been many times in my life where I didn't think that I could do something and then when I tried it and succeeded in it that was the best feeling ever. Even if you don't succeed the first time you try something you should still feel good that you at least tried it. And maybe you could try it again and again until you do succeed, then you know you worked hard for what ever it was. When I first started to learn how to ice skate when I was 3 I thought I was never going to be able to skate backwards. And I fell many times but I kept trying and when I finally could do it, I was amazed I actually succeeded in one of my goals. I think everyone should try things even if they don't succeed at first you should still keep trying because sooner or later you will succeed at it.

I think this qoute is a very good qoute for many things. You can gain multiple things from this. First you gain self-confident from doing something very hard. In my opinion that is probably the best thing you can gain because then you can get other things done with that. Also, you could gain loyalty from people by doing something really hard. That then could lead to some more friends which is the next thing you could gain. Another thing is you can gain respect which is kind of like loyalty. Last main thing is you can just be pround of yourself.

p.s. remember this is late because of my computer being broke
I think that you would gain a feeling that you have accomplished something. You could also feel confident about it. If you havent ever done something before and you finally acomlpish it after forever trying you would feel very confident i would think. Like when i finnaly learned how to ride a bike i felt very confident in myself. Also very happy. You also learn that you cant do everything on the first try. If you dont get it the first time you try and try again until you get it acomplished.
