Good week. We discussed freedom within the confines of the Declaration of Independence. Watched the John Adam's video and saw what it takes to put aside personal needs for the better of society. Lastly, you began working on your own Declaration of Independence from something.
For this evening, define freedom in your own words. Then tell how freedom can be both a positive and a negative. Give an example of how you express your freedoms and how your freedoms are sometimes held back. Do you think freedom will be different in one year, two years, after graduation?
This may take more than 7 sentences!

To me, freedom means to be able to do almost anything that you want to do. There are limits to freedom. The Bill of rights is a big one. My freedoms are held back by being aloud to say almost whatever I want. My freedoms are expressed by being able to type this blog. I would say that my freedom will change in my senior year. I will be turning eighteen before school starts, so I will be able to vote for the next president. I will be able to do a few other things.

Freedom? heh, now thats something i could go on about for hours. In my opinion freedom can easily be interpreted differently for each individual person. To me freedom is being capable of doing whatever you please. Our freedom is held back sadly by laws and rules. All the while our freedom can be expressed by things like eating and dressing the way we want. Along with expressing our opinions fluently. Freedom most defiantly is able to be clammed our own as we get older, such as voting, purchase of certain products and much much more.

I think freedom basically means being able to do anything that you want. Freedom can be both a positve thing and a negative thing. It can be positive because you can do things that make you feel free. The negative thing about it is you can only take your freedom to a certain limit. I express my freedom by being able to do things on my own without my parents. My freedoms arent really held back because I know my limits of being free. I know my freedom will be different after graduation because I will be old enough to depend on my own with help from my parents if I need it. Now I depend on my parents because I dont have all the freedom I need to depend on myself.
Freedom can be different to everyone. To me freedom is being able to do waht you want when you want it. Of course because of of my age my freedom is restricted a little and sometimes i dont like that. For the most part I'm pretty happy because i have a lot more freedom then most of my friends. I think my freedom will change when i get out of highschool because i will be old enough to make my own decisions and i will be driving for a couple years so my mom will trust me. freedom will also change as the better i do in school and the more trouble i get into. This is what i think about freedom.
