Please respond to the following quote by President Bill Clinton in regards to the American Dream:
“We need a new spirit of community, a sense that we are all in this together, or the American Dream will continue to wither. Our destiny is bound up with the destiny of every other American.”

This quote is expressing the fact that as Americans we need to reunite and stick with each other through everything. It pretty much is saying that we depend on each other for a lot of things. Doing things as a community can help everyone acheive their american dream. No matter what it is. Independence may be important, but somethings americans must work together on. As americans, it is our duty to support our country, so that we all have the chance as the American Dream.
I find that the quote reflects how the link of american unity needs to be reconnected. We all rely on one another for one thing or another. If we keep divided and continue doing things that would normally require help and or assistance. Then not only will we fail, but our american dream will begin to diminish aswell. There are things that need to be done as a team and not fully independent. As americans we need to come together for our country. If not, then what was the whole point of us being here and having american dreams?

I believe that Bill Clinton meant that every human should just move forward with their American Dream. Since we all live on this planet, we should help each other to achieve our dream. If we don't life as we know it will begin to whither. We need to join together to change the world for the better of mankind. I also agree with the others.

This quote is saying that we as Americans need to stick together or the American Dream will just die. We all need each other for our dream. Everybody depends on somebody for something and thats a good thing. As a community it should help keep the American Dream going with help from one another. We should try supporting the American Dream together after all we are all citizens of America. If we arent all in this together then what is there for the future generations to look forward to. We need to stick together and try to support the American Dream or there wont be an American Dream.
The point that Bill Clinton is trying to get across is that we need to stick together to fulfill the American Dream. He is saying that our destiny lies with every other American because every other American makes up America. The American Dream will wither without each other because strength is in numbers. We need a new spirit of community means that we need to be coming up with new ways to better ourselfs and out communities. The American Dream can't be seen in the eyes of one but in the eyes of all Americans. The American dream is only as strong as Americans make it. This is what i believe he ment by this quote.
I realy dont know how to respond to this quote... All i getting from it is that we should stick together as Americans to reach the American dream. I think that this would be a good policy to folow because if we Americans work together we can achieve much more then if we worked as ourselves. I think the first snetance saying that we need a new spirit means that the American citizens need to look past the bad things and look into the future and what the future will hold. I also think this would be good to do because so many people in America look at the bad side of things. When they should be lookin towards the good things. Thats all i can realy say in response to this quote. I just think the we Americans should stick together to achieve the American Dream.
