Day 9

I am very excited to get into "The Crucible" as I think you will like it as long as you are willing to read, pay attention and get out of the "I hate it because they are making me read" mindset.

Tonight we will be free blogging. Again, make it appropriate and make it have some realistic value. You can respond to another persons blogging as long as you do it with go taste and no meanness involved.

Have fun and see you tomorrow.

Tonight I will be blogging on the fact that if we dont have our book then we have to stay after school for a half an hour. Some people have little borthers or sisters that rush them out of the house in the morning. I think that we should not be penilized for this. Why cant you take points off the project? Why do we have to spend time after school. Some of us dont have rides to pick us up. With the economany like it is. I bet that some of our parents dont have jobs. Some of the parents work and cant come pick us up. Will you drive us home if we have to stay after? I dont think that you will. So I am challenging the authority and asking you for a new punishment.

Hmm...i'm not really sure what to write about so i'll write about people's latest obsession Twighlight!!! I'm not really sure why but these books draw people in and get you addicted. All I know is that once you start reading it you can't stop. Everyone (girls not guys) who hasn't read the book yet are starting to because of the movie. The movie wasn't nearly as good as the book but it still was worth watching. I'm disapointed on how they took out some very important stuff. This left people who didnt read the book very confused. However, if you have the background information then you will love the movie. I always think that the movies are never as good as the book.

In my free blog I would like to talk about how seizure suck. For me they suck because I am unable to do anything. For example like I can't play hockey or even do drivers training until i'm six months seizure free which is a bummer. Hopefully I will start feeling better with this new medication they have me on. Also, maybe by tomarrow I will be back at school getting the education I need. My education is important to me and I really don't like how these seizures are preventing me from going to school. I wish I never gotten these seizures.

For my free blog i am also guna write about twilight like kristen did. I think that all the twilight books were awsome! usually i really hate reading but when i read the twilight series i didnt want to put it down for one second. Like kristen i also thought that the book was alot better then the movie. In the movie they left out alot of important things. If you havent read the book then you deffinetly should. Everyone should also see the movie to.

I am going to blog about cell phones. Cell phones continue to make the world a smaller palce. They also are getting more and more sophisticated. A great example of this would be the newest Iphone. The whole touch screen thing really fascinates people and draws attention to them. Cell phones are becoming almost like computers. There are so many different features on a phone now. One of the newer things on cell phones is the ability to text. I love to text. I got a new phone so I could text. I send over like 5 or 6 thousand a month. Too many people abuse the ability to text. It becomes a part of their life and they can't get away from it and it almost becomes an addiction. Parents hate cell phones in my opinion. They are used to the older days when they weren't and phones to go around. I get yelled at constantly for being on the phone. Another thing with cell phones is that people can't go anywhere without it. People are using the phone constantly. The car is the most common place for a cell phone which is dangerous. Another common place for cell phones is school. This is why there is such a strict policy for cell phone use. All people do in class is text. But that's about it.

For my subject im wondering why we havent had a snow day yet. We have had plenty of snow and everything. Half the time the only roads that are nice are a few of the main ones. All the roads around my neighborhood are horrible half the time. Theres already been a few times where we drifted making a turn. Also earlier this week we spun out and did a 270 or 540 wasn't really paying attention. I'm thinking of a jeep is sliding it must be hell for a bus. Last thing the school needs is a acident with kids on the bus.

In my free blog tonight I will be writing about what it takes to get ready for next years football season. If you are serious about making the Varisty team you must get a buddy to work out with every day (The Buddy System). First you need to make a commitment to having a good dietary plan. A good diet consists of eating lots of fruits, vegetables, getting lots of vitamins, protein and drinking lots of milk. Another commitment you have to make is staying after school everday and getting into the weight room. All of this takes a lot of effort and commitment to do. Most of the results you get from working out does not happen right away. You have to stick with it all the time. This is what I believe you need to do to get the results you are looking for and making the Varsity Football Team.

I think I will touch onto the misunderstanding of the term 'EMO', since my mother thought that emos were 'genderless, problematic, attention whores.' D:

Definition from UrbanDictionary.com=
"1.Emo Kids
The stereotype for a kid(13-19) who has a lower tolerance for sad emotions, and feels inadiquet of their own personal worth(feels like they arent good enough). Many emos feel so depressed that they resort to cutting to themselves. Emo boys often wear girls pants and dye their hair black, with a pyrimid spiked belt, and tight tee shirts(usualy black). It is known that emos have a kind of rule that 2/5 of their face must be covered by hair, although it is actualy a subconscious feeling of wanting to cover up their sadness(eyes).

"She's too good for me.
What is the point of my life?
I hate everything. "

DEFINITION ENTRY #2=
"1) The fans of emo music (emocore, emotional hardcore), a music genre consisting of hardcore rock with angsty lyrics and a good dose of screaming. The singers/screamers of emo music are typically relatively young guys with feminine voices. Emo bands are also (in stereotype) primarily from New Jersey.
2) The style of clothing stereotypically worn by fans of emo music. This consists of, in general: tight band t-shirts or vintage 80's t-shirts, longer (messy) hair often died black, tight (usual girl's) pants, shoes by Vans or Converse, messenger bags, anything checkered (usually black-and-white or black-and-pink), studded belts, thick-framed glasses, neckties, etc. (Note: girl emo kids often cut their hair short in the back and angled down in the front, less often died black)
3) The mood that stereotypically displays being an emo kid. They are generally considered the subculture of high-school, and while sometimes referred to as manic depressive or "cutters," are usually quite social. Very romantic, often downtrodden. More realistically, teenagers who listen to heavy music and have no qualms with displaying their emotions. (ie, don't feel the need to prove themselves as "bad-@$$," like many rock fans.)

Both taken from UrbanDictionary, I hope you all learned something about the other subcultures other than the rap-crap, 'playa hatin', loserville called-*quotation fingers* "The IN CROWD". >:D

I'm not sure if this clears up a few things in my personal life. Maybe I should make a 'STONER-Definitions' entry, then a 'FURRY-Definitions' one, too. Hm....I'm not sure...

Alexa I got a simple answer, Just bring your book to class and you wont need to worry.

Im unsure on what to write about in this blog but here it goes. I will talk about gas prices. Its very nice to notice gas has dropped to $1.49 per gallon. I think these gas prices are helping people out throughout Michigan. With economy being as bad as it is and petroleum being in such demand its hard to believe oil has dropped so much a barrel. These current gas prices have not been this low for almost 7 years now. I do believe the prices will continue to drop until...the motor companies get there funding. After that prices will most likely go back up and effect us as bad as they did before.

Q: What realm are you on?

For todays blog I will talk about BMX. BMX orignated from racing pedal bikes over jumps and turned into just hitting jumps and freestyle. BMX racing is still around but BMX freestyle is the most popular. I got into BMX when I was about 7 yrs old and I just loved to hit jumps. I have an older neighbor who likes to BMX so we decided to build a couple jumps in my backyard and it started from there. Now we have a roll in, two wood kickers, and two dirt jumps. The "track" as we call it, never stays the same because we are always building new stuff and it is really fun. The bikes you ride are single speed BMX bikes. The bike I ride is a Haro Backtrail.

I as well am going to write tonight's blog about Twilight. These books are amazing, literally. If someone were to ask me "What's it about?". I would reply "I vampire falls in love with a human, but it has many twists throughout the story." People will just assume, it's just another mushy gushy love story. When it's not, it has so much action, and a surprise in every chapter. I read all four of these books this summer, and saw the movie the day it came out (and it was on my 15th birthday). Girls all over the world are in love with Edward Cullen. Every girl, wishes that there boyfriend, or find someone who's just like him. I mean yea that would be amazing, but every girl should be happy with the guy who thinks there beautiful and amazing, they just show it a different way. Surprisingly, not only girls are reading this book, as well as boys. It's not just for girls to read, guys can read it as well. they just choose not to, because it's to girly. Anyways, I love all these books. Most incredible books I have ever read in my entire 15 years.

so in my last free blog i said that i was going to put my cat down over break, well we did that tonight instead. I didnt know how much pets can mean to a family. they play a roll in a family that i really cant explain. Muffy- [my cat] was MY cat so its really hard for me to think that she is going to be gone. i raised her since she was a itty bitty kitten and now shes grown, and now gone.. she was there for me, i feel like a "cat lady" like one of those old ladys that talks to her cats all by herself, but i kinda did talk to her. shed always listen n pur and meow. I would practice my speeches and oral reports in front of her. and when i was done i would lay with her in my bed. she would sleep with me every night on my pillow. Im glad that i had a cat like her. I think that everyone should be nice to their pets, and cherish them, because they might have to put them down.. its hard to let go. I LOVE U MUFFY xoxo.

for this evening I will be writing about the concert that is occurring in our CPA on Sunday. Our school has finally got enough money to pay one of our favorite composers Samuel R. Hazo to write a piece just for our band. This piece has been on hold for a couple of years because of the lack of money flow. this weekend we are inviting all of the seniors who were apart of this program last year to help preform combined with us for this new piece. Unfortunately we will be having a practice on a Saturday before the concert. the really amazing part of all of this is that we are doing a World Premier piece. this means that we are the first band to play this sheet of music ever. The title of the piece is called Autumn on White Lake. And yes it refers to our very own white lake. So i feel honored to be able to be apart of this and hope that anyone who reads this will join us for the world premier of Autumn on White Lake on Sunday night at 7:00.

I want to take the time to talk about sports and the impact on an athletes life. Ive been playing soccer since I was maybe three, and has been part of my life ever since. At a young age I probably had the dream just like every other young athlete, to go pro, make millions, and live the good life. Nothing sounded better to me than doing what I loved and getting paid for it. Recently the higschool soccer season has ended, although prior to the highschool season I played for a travel team. I played year round whether it was for travel or highschool. Before this years higschool season, I wanted to quit soccer all together because it was just too much for me. I think only athletes can comprehend that a sport is part of your life, and no matter how frustrated you get towards it, you cant walk away from it. As I get older I realize where sports can take you, it can take you to college, it could even take you to a career in the sport. My older brother was a soccer player too, he couldve played in college although declined. He now attends OCC and is trying to get in a music school. Their are possiblities that if he chose to play in college, that maybe things would be easier for him because of the schools reputation which can offer ways to get where you want. Anyhow I always question what to do. Im not playing travel right now, even though its happening right now. I might join back up with it. My advice to every athlete is to quetion yourself twice when considering giving up something that makes up a big part of your life. Question your future, question your team-mates relationships, question what your about to give up.

Well there's nothing all that interesting that I can think of to say in this blog. Well today I was at the toys for tots party. It was a good day but it was just seemed to last forever. There was a lot of kids there and they all seemed to be having fun. Santa even came. With his elves. There were people from channel 7 news taping and interviewing a few people. So yeah thats about all that I can think of for tonight. And its more than 7 sentences

For my free blog today, I am also going along with Kristens blog, and going to talk about the Twilight books. I recently just started reading them, and I'm hooked. You usually dont find me reading a whole lot, and I dont just like to sit down and read all the time. But the Twilight books have me reading way more than I'm used to. Of course, the book is wayyy better than the movie, but the movie is still pretty good anyway. Its weird, because I dont always like the whole fantasy theme stuff, but there is something about this book that has everyone interested and me interested also. I recommend this book to anyone, because its a really good.

Mr. Kay,

Tonight I think that I will be talking about how feeling's really impact other peoples lives. I would like to make this perfectly clear that I am not pointing out anybody by using this subject. I believe that by having feeling's for someone, you are letting them know that you are going to be there for them. For example, lets say that a boy really likes this girl, and she likes him back but she has a boyfriend. So time goes on, and when the girl breaks up with her boyfriend, she realizes that she still has really strong feelings about that boy. She was talking to the boy, and he was telling her how he had a great day. She asked him why. He replied that he has been spending time with this new girl that he meet. She got really upset. He got confused. She had feelings for him and then regained them. His feeling's were always there, she just never noticed. His feelings soon got smaller, he waited and waited. When she had feeling's of gold for him, he had moved on. She got so upset, that it seemed like she took it out on him. He couldn't deal with all the feelings. Feeling's are a powerful thing and need to be used to the most level.

first of Mr.Kay, i do not think you understood how upset i was when you made that joke ABOUT toys for tots today. that really hurt me. and i just can not believe you would say such a thing. we as a class know you are a great teacher, but you really lowered me wanting to talk to you a lot now, because you made that comment. i am not going off the point that it was immoral, or that it was wrong, because those are justifiable things, because no matter how many people think it was not the right thing to do, you can still find a justification for it. but i believe that in no way was it excusable. especially in that particular audience.

what i am going on, and going to talk about, s that, it hurt my feelings greatly, because i see a great teacher, who is really funny, and very easy to talk to, and then, to me, when you said that hurtful joke today, that was like you had enacted a mental blow to my brain, and made me really dislike your actions now, and see the other side of you. as i said, i know my friends who have said bad things about you, and unfortunately, i guess i am seeing them. i really wish i had not. and although i still see you as my american literature teacher for tenth grade, i just can not think of the same Mr.Kay any more.

I really dont know what to write about so i guess i am going to talk about individualism.
I think its important to be an idividualist because you get a chance to speak your mind and to act on the things most important to you. Being indivdual i think is rewarding because you have the chance to be free and your own person like you dont have to follow other people. Its better to be a leader instead of a follower you learn more about yourself. I think we will be more successful in life if you stand out and be ourselfs. We all almost get to the point where we want to be free and be on our own be free from parents. We grow up and we start to live how we want to live are way.

In tonights free blog I am going to continue to talk about cell phones. As William said, said phones are make the world a smaller place. Cell phones are taking place for many other communication systems. For example, on the nextel phones they have the walkie talkie device which is pretty cool. This basically elmininates normal walkie talkies. Another example would be how most phones now have internet. Cell phones don't hold their value as much as other things I think. This is because they are always being improved and nothing stays the same for too long. There is always the 'new latest and greatest' technology. Now the latest thing is touchscreen phones like the iPhone and the new blackberry storm. I think these phones are cool and all but it is almost too much. Cell phones are basically meant for talking and texting. Most of the other things are just a waste of money to me unless it is something you really honestly need.

For todays blog I would like to talk about the experience I had in Toys for Tots. Well it all started when I met a young man named Nick. I went up to him and at first he was very shy but after I was talking to him for a while he started to give in and talk to me. I asked him what he wanted for christmas and he said he wanted a flashlight not just any flashlight though but a big blue flashlight. After talking to Nick I meet the sweetest little girl named Maddie. She grabbed my hand and dragged it to the table and started tracing my fingers then when she was done she told me to bend over so I did and she slammed my head onto the table and started to trace my head. Another young man I met was Tim he was tall and was wearing a University of Miami sweatshirt. I asked him why he liked Miami and he said it was because it was warm down there and he liked to swim. After that I went for a walk with him and showed him the swimming pool when I did this I thought he was almost going to jump into the water after this I went and socialized with some other people. Then Santa came and the smiles on most of the children's faces were priceless. I helped pass out some of the gifts and the children were so excited. It wasn't till after all this when an older woman came up to me and gave me a big hug and thanked me for taking such good care of the children that normally don't get to do exciting things like this. After all this I reflected on the day and thought how lucky I am to be able to socialize and do daily tasks normally. It is easy to get lost in things you want but is children like the ones that I worked with today that are the real worriers who don't look down up-on the disabilities they have but fight past them.

Well, first off, I'm not trying to be rude in any way, but if you can't get picked up after school, maybe you should just bring your text book to class. If you fulfill your responsibilities in the first place, then you won't have to suffer the consequences. I guess I could talk about this subject. Once again, not trying to be rude, just trying to say my side on this opinion. Maybe the whole point of having a consequence that people don't want is so that they actually start doing what is asked of them. It really isn't all that hard to get your book out of your locker and bring it to class. Also, Mr. Kay isn't a completely unreasonable person who is out to get us. If someone had a real issue one day with bringing their book to class, I'm pretty sure he would listen and try to be understanding. On the other hand though, if someone forgets their book every other day, he isn't going to be as understandable. So, just bringing your text book to class like Mr. Kay told us to will take away the problem of having to stay after school. If over 90 percent of the class can do it, I'm pretty sure we can all do it if we actually try. It is all part of being responsible and doing what is expected of you.

i only play one sport and that is soccer. when i was younger my parents made me try everything there was. after getting a taste of different activities i chose soccer. i have played since around the 2nd grade. i get so much out of playing. i get plenty of exercise, since i play outside mid i have to run up and down the side lines. i've learned how to respect others who are playing the game and goood sports-manship. whenever i have played with a team, we spend so much time together ,we unify into one big family. when i am on the field running i can forget about everything in my life and focus on the game. running helps me escape once get over the fact that you are doing something that you really don't want to do but you do it anyway until you can't feel anything.when i run sometimes i feel invinsible and nothing could ever stop me. i do my best when i shut out everything else going on around me. i kind of zone out and don't hear anything but my team mates. when i am not focused i can tell because i get distracted by people on the sidelines or in the stands. i prepare for playing and i try my best. i am always tring to improve and work on my foot skills.

I'm extremely indecisive and these blogs are so hard! but i was just watching "Dazed and Confused" and I've decided to blog about a quote from the movie. "I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor, insignificant preamble to somethin' else." I think a lot more adolescents need to take advantage of this advice, including myself. I feel like we've all been rushing though life. Get through middle school, get through high school, go to college, and grow up. I don't think were recognizing that these mere years are all we have left until we have to be adults. I sometimes want to get through high school and move on to college. the independence of college seems so tempting. if i think about it though, i don't want to get out of college. I don't want a steady job, and a steady life it all just seems so damn boring. And after I'm there, theres no going back.

Today for my free blog I would like to talk about music and the ways it positively and negatively influences people's lives. Fist off, on a positive note, it can definately set a specific mood you are already in and can also set a mood you want to be in. Along those lines, it can calm you down if you are stress out or make you want to hurt someone depending on what kind of music you listen to. Music can also be helpful before a big game or competition. It can get you pumped up so you are ready to go out there and kick some a**. Overall, I think music enriches people's lives, however there can be some negative things about it. Some music can influence bad behaivior and violence, and send other bad messages (I'm as guilty as everyone else for choosing to listen to it). Another thing is people listening to their ipods during class or when someone is talking to them. I know a lot of people, mainly teachers, hate this, but again, I am guilty of it too. Overall, I think music is enjoying to listen to, and even play in my band.

Oh, and Dereck Guckian, are you sure there are no purple dragons in wow? And what color is azure?

Today I attended Toys For Tots, it was a lot of fun. All the kids were so nice and very funny. They all had smiles on thier faces and were in very good humor. At first it was a little awkward for both the students and the children, but then we warmed up to eachother. Today however i felt a little selfish, i always complain about little things and these kids go through much harder tasks on a day to day basis. They live with disabilities and a constant struggle to live life. Some how they manage to put on a smile for a day and hang out with us. I realized I take a lot of things for granted and i don't always have the best attitude. Seeing the kids today although helped me realized that theres more to life than what i see. I think it's a blessing to work with those kids, and I had a very good day with them.

Also, when i first got a facebook account i would never go on it because i thought it was stupid and a waste of my time. Now i go on it at least everyday but usually more than once unless i am out of town or don't have a computer by me. Even when i went to my aunt's and uncle's i would go on facebook multiple times. Another thing about facebook is you can keep in touch with friends that have moved away or just don't get to see much in school. Which is why i think it is a great thing. Another thing is it is basically free, i mean besides the computer and stuff, which makes it even more great. Last thing is i think that myspace is always going to be stupid but facebook will always be good.

I never know what to write about in these blogs, so i guess I will write about sports I play. People look at my funny when I tell them I play hockey, and on varsity poms. And everyone I meet I tell them yes i know its a weird combination. But, I have done dance and played hockey for 12 years so to me its just a normal thing. I agree a lot with Lauren's blog, on how she said when she is on the soccer field she can forget about all her problems and just focus on the game. Thats how I feel about hockey. When I'm on the ice its like an escape away from the real world. I think that it is an important thing for kids to be in a sport. It teaches you good life skills, like to know how to loose and be a good sport. I think its important to be a good sport weather you win or loose.

Mr. Kay,
I would like to talk about pressure. Pressure, either a mans best friend or his worst enemy. It factors one's life in so many ways we don't even realize. It affects athletics, social life, and sometimes your family. In sports, athletes are pressured to do their upmost best in tough situations. Everything must always be perfect or you will be confronted. Honestly, sometimes when i watch ESPN it bugs the fuck out of me. Athletes are under some much pressure, and if Peyton Manning, who had a major injury in the offseason is not the perfect quarterback that he normally is, he gets criticized up the ass. In contrast, theres pressure in teens life to smoke or drink. A lot of kids are not considered "cool" if they do not do what their friends do. Honestly, just be yourself and if somebody tells you that you're not cool because of it then screw then. People like that bug the shit out of me, i mean just worry about your own friggen life. Pressure, to me, is construed in the mind and you have to learn to get rid of it somehow, which is not often easy.

tonight i am going to talk about bungie. for those that don't know what bungie is, it is the corporation that made the game halo, halo 2, and halo 3. the reason that i want to talk about them is because the people that work there are freaking idiots. the reason this is, is because they like to make the online play so retarded there screw you out of so many things its not funny. i think that they should take advice from us players. not out of there behinds. that is my free blog.

Mr. Kay,

Tonight Im going to talk about sports and how the economy are related. Nowadays as you know the economy is really bad. But what I dont get is why the economy doesnt effect sports teams and players. Recently the New York Yankees have signed C.C. Sabathia to a 7 year/ 126 million dollar contract. Not only did they just do this, they did this while they are in the middle of building a new feild and stadium. Even more, they dont even have enough money for this signing. They have just asked New Yorks tax payers to pay more taxes in order to raise more money for the ball team. I love baseball and everything about it, but if you love the game, do you really need to be paid $126 million. No

On saturday this weekend we face off against clarkston at 3:30.I believe it will be ahard fought game but we will come out on top. I personally advise as many people as possible to come to our game because of the great match up.

i have been reading these, and i think it is cool, on everyones part, how the people who put a lot of thought into these, can make there voices heard.

some of the people i have saw, and felt there emotions in their blogs were:
1). Taylor Dieck and Taylor Wattles talking about toys for tots, and it made me really actually sad i did not do it. now i know i am going to do it next year.

2). Eric Tamm talking about music, which i completely agree about. i definitely like music, and think it is a life changer.

3). Hannah Aittama, talking about your really-not-so-weird combination of activities. i would think it would be cool if i were involved with a lot more things like you and many others.

4). Jordan Blanzy: i think it is great that you do not care what others think, at least the negatives, and overcome that obstacle.

just some people who i felt made a connection with the reader tonight. happiest blogging.

Today I had cherios for breakfast. I got up at 5:13 and had cherios, once again. My mom bought four boxs of cherios because they were on sale. I am getting really sick of eating cherios every morning. My bus ride was 45 min, agian. So every mornig I start off my day kind off shity. I was really tired and was really craving a cinnamon roll. My day went okay today. In your class I was really tired and diddn't feel like doing that much. But your jokes were keeping me awake. So good job to you. After school I then ate some ramen noddles and got ready for snowboarding. I was wanting to make some grilled chesse sandwitch, but was to lazy. At Snowboarding practice I think that I did pretty good. I got home and started to do this. I smell really bad and need to take a shower. Well, I think I typed enough, so that was my day.

Today I am free blogging about dance. Dance has been a big part of my life now for several years. I started dancing young, and at first it was just recreational. Once I started getting better I realized I really had a passion for dancing. I joined the competition team when I was 8, and had continued in it up until this year. My core classes are tap, jazz, and ballet, but our studio also teaches us other styles of dance. Some people think that it is a waste of time and money if you do not make it into a dance career, but I think differently. I think that I have learned life lessons at the studio such as disipline and determination, and I have made lasting relationships. I have also had the opportunity to travel a bit because of it. I think that it is a great experience for me and it will be something I will pursue on later in life.

I hate to sound like a broken record but could you please look at last weeks blogs because i did them on Sunday cuz you said i could. thank you.

My blog tonight will be about the 1st Harry Potter book because i read it recently. Okay, so the book, as well as the movie, is about a boy who survives the darkest wizard in their history: Voldemort/He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. This boys name is Harry Potter...obviously. The boy gets put into the hands of his aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon Dursley. These two individuals are reffered as muggles in the wizarding world, and they are the most non-magic you could ever come by. Harry Potter must live with these muggles because Voldemort killed his parents. Yet he could not kill Harry; and nobody knows why. The reason why is because of love from his mother: she died to protect him which provided him with the ultimate protection: he couldn't be touched. So when Voldemort tried to use the killing course on little Harry Potter, it rebounded back on to Voldemort...but it didn't kill him. His spirit lived on but he was inches away from death and the only thing that could keep him alive was unicorn blood because it is a very powerful elixir that can keep someone who is on the brink of death from dying.

I will be commenting on Kori's blog. I'm not meaning to sound rude Kori but I seriously can not STAND kids who go around labeling themselves. I especially hate that label in particular. Can anyone just be themselves? Why is it that when you go to the mall or school you always see people labeling themselves as "emo" or "scene" or "punk" or "goth" or "gangster" or whatever? I REALLY don't get the point in emo the most though. I personally think emo kids are all just a bunch of posers. They cut themselves for ATTENTION. If a kid really did have a cutting problem they would most certainly NOT go around bragging about it. Basically someone one day was like "hey the kids diagnosed with serious depression get a lot of attention.... LETS PRETEND WE HAVE PROBLEMS!!!!" I find the emo label a disaster and a complete waste of time. Don't fake your problems for attention. I think this label is almost as stupid as the label ICP made...the juggalo's or whatever.

Yeah I didn't mean to be rude here, I was just stating an opinion. Sorry if any of you little emo kids got offended.

I'm going to write kind of in a responce to James because I am currently reading the third Harry Potter book. I haven't read any other Harry Potter book, even the first and second one, and I know it's awkward. I started to read the third book because the third movie was my favorite and I wanted to see if the mood of the books or the director who created that mood in the movie made me like it so much. Plus Gary Oldman is probably the best actor ever, or pretty close to it. haha. Anyways I am starting to see why people love books more than movies because there is only so much of 600 pages that you can fit into 2 hours of moving pictures. I really like the book so far, but I wish I had more time to read it, there's a lot of emotions in it and you can see everyone's viewpoint on things, so it's easier to understand and predict. Although the book is very good, the movie is also great because there are excellent actors who potray those emotions(England's good for that) and with each coming movie Daniel Radcliffe's acting skills get better at connecting to Harry Potter's feelings. Maybe I'll be a critic when I grow up.

P.S. So I guess what I was trying to say in that blog was that Emo kids pose off of kids with real depression. Stealing the spotlight kind of thing.

Ehhh, I should have been first, my story is not getting the attention I had anticipated.

As for the reaction for the reaction for Kori, if you are posing as kids who have problems, you yourself have problems....

i would like to add on kevins blog about snowdays. i think its rediculous also that we havent had one. my streets really icy and i slip just walking to the bus stop let alone driving. although i think we should have more snowdays, i do love driving in the snows. it makes driving so excitable. i try to drift around every corner possible, its a technique i call "tokyo driftin it". it starts with a slight rip of the E brake then when plowing into the turn you give it some gas. you have to try to not spin out but make it look sweet at the same time. a nice sheet of ice is preferable over thick snow.

I think that the witch trials are very interesting. Its funny to me how one person can cause so much problems and hysteria. Innocent people were being accused of something they probably were the exact opposite of. Not only that, but they were treated like animals, and persecuted. The accused were guilty, and nothing could change the accuser's minds. They were right and the "witch" should be punished or killed. Also people could use it to get back at people they didn't like. If someone pissed you off you could say they were a witch and their life was ruined.

Tonight im gonna write about spanish. I don't like spanish at all and i always need help. i wonder why spanish is a requirement if you are college bound. I heard this from someone and i don't know if its true but still I don't plan on being a spanish major when i graduate from college. I think it would be really cool if i could drop that class and still be able to have all of my requirements for college. I also think that i i shouldnt hav to get a ton of homework in that class. So many people cheat anyways...if you think about it, its kinda pointless. Anyways im still getting an A in that class so i guess its not that bad.

Mr. Kay,
So tonight for my free blog I shall be talking about film and my age group. See I like movies, a lot, and I watch lots of them. I like to watch more then just the big new movie out or the dumbest comedy ever like everyone else in my age group. Not saying that the new dumb comedy or new big movie always suck, but I would much rather watch a movie that contains some sense of thought and intellect. Some of the people in my age group like simple movies that don't take much to understand or something where the jokes are very stupid so you don't need to really pay attention. Then I am sitting back watching a movie that I know lots of people in my age group would think is stupid just because they didn't want to think about it. Instead, my peers would rather watch the most culturally devoid movie out. I would like to talk about a film that has thought in it with a normal movie go-er without them complaining how dumb it was or how they didn't care about the movie. Sometimes people need to grow up and watch a movie that you can't just be sleeping during and still understand it. Again I am not saying that dumb movies are never good, but I would like to see my peers watching movies that they need to have a brain to watch. Also, I am not saying everyone around me (for the exception of few) are stupid because they don't watch what I would call a quality film, but rather I just would like to see peers get more involved in movies when they watch them. Movies are fun, and I wish that people in my age group could like them as much as I do.

On tonights blog i will be again racting to the auto crisis dealing with the bailout. All i hear on TV is talks about the this. I did a free blog 2 weeks ago on this and wanted to get back to the saem topic. I think that if this doesnt go through will will take more away from starving michiganders. The auto business is what our state is centered around and it is crucial for the passage of this bill. I think that our economy will perish if we dont have the support from the auto comapies. the workers who will not recieve more money, put money into our economy for the economy to survive.

Thanks for letting me blog a day late.

My blog is on these wroghting assesment things we have to do in class. I mean i can expect it from Language Arts but Science and Social Studies. Mr. Vaerllen says we have to do them cuz it makes you understand the topic better. I don't think that is true. I think the only thing these stupid assesments do are gett me frustrated and not want to learn about the subject even more. If they want us to understand something more they should yakes us on like a field trip instead of wasting paper that is going to be read and graded then thrown away.

Mr.Kay,
For this blog I would like to comment off of tyler Inman's Blog. Like he explained we finally have saved up enough money to do a world premire written by Sam Hazo. Sam Hazo is a world known composer and in marching band we even played some of his music. I think that people don't realize how important is to the world. It really makes me mad that music dosnt get the attention it deserves. But anyway thanks to everyone who helps support us and has helped us raise money to do this I really really thank everyone. Music means so much to me and has helped me get so far, I love it so much that this is what I want to do when I grow up; I want to be a musician. But, everyone should really come and check out the concert it's on sunday at 7 pm. I think it would be really interesting and fun(in my opinion anyway).

I guess since it is a free blog I will respond to Alexa's blog. Honestly I kind of agree with her about being rushed and not having time to grab everything that is needed, but on the other hand you should take responsibility and take it like a man. =] What project? Anyway...the problem could all have been avoided if people pack their bags the night before, or simply put in a neat pile somewhere you would remember to pick it up.
