The current event that I've chose to discuss is OJ Simpson's sentencing. Today OJ has been sentenced to at least 15 years in jail. OJ is sentenced for hotel armed robbery. Today he sat before the job when his punishment was reveled he rambled for five minutes for forgiveness. Choking back tears. "I didn't want to steal anything from anyone. ... I'm sorry, sorry." The judge did not take his apology and he will be sentenced fully to the crimes he has committed. I think this is an important current even because really, who doesn't want to see OJ is jail.
O.J. Simpson was sentenced Friday to go to prision for up to 33 years. He is sentenced for armed robbery and kidnapping. A failed attempt to recover sports memorabilia from two collectibles dealers. His codefendant "C.J." Stewart was sentenced up to at least 15 years locked up. Even before Judge Jackie Glass got a chance to hand down her decision, OJ apologized to her and the Las Vegas court after findint out he won't be able to be freed on bail if he appeals. He said he didnt meant o hurt anyone nore steal anyones stuff. He realized it was just stupid. The judge tryed to make a point after that it was a violent confrontation that which at least 1 gun had been drawn. The judge said that her sentence had nothing to do with Simpson's 1994 acquittal in the slaying of his ex-wife. As he was fighting back tears trying to apologize. The judge would not accept his apologie and locked him up anyways.
Megan Fraser 6th hour The article I read is from http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081203/ap_on_re_us/wal_mart_death. It was about the walmart employee who was trampled to death on black friday. He was trying to open up the store and people just couldn't wait to get in. His family is trying to sue walmart for not having enough security and advertising in a way that made a crowd craze and atmosphere of competition. Walmart says that its going to work with local law enforcement and try to get more security. I think that this was a really bad thing to happen and people are just too caught up with money. Money shouldn't come first in life and this shouldn't have happened.
The artical i chose to do is from the new york times and it is called At Least 22 Dead in Pakistan Blast. In ISLAMABAD, Pakistan a bomb struck in the very crowded allyways in Peshawar pakistan. At least 22 ppl were killed. More then 90 people were injured. When the bomb struck the street was crowed with people that were shoppimg for a upcoming vestivle. One of the police men said that the bomb struck near a Shia mosque. He expected the numbers of dead and injured to rise.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,92933,462607.html The current I chose was the the car bombing in Pakistan. The devestation ripped through the streets and killed 20 people, and injured many more. There has been recent attacks on India's commercial capital. To add to the mix the U.S. is suspected of a missle strike that killed 3 people near the border of Afghanastan. The motive of the attack in Pakistan is not known but is thought to be "external forces" are to blame. All the bombings and killings are horrible. It is sad to hear of innocent people dying for no reason.
I am writing my blog on gas prices. They are saying that gas prices may well go under $1. Due to the loss of jobs in the united states, thats why gas prices are going down so much. Oil has dropped as estimated 25%. By january, gas prices are guessed to be 90 cents. i think this is a good thing because it is more affordable. since the start of the recession, we have lost 1.9 million jobs. this is horrible to think of, but hopefully things will change.
A current event that I chose to write about from the Oakland Press is how senators are still skeptical about lawmaking. Thrusday in Washington U.S. automakers ran into fresh obstacles from skeptical lawmakers as they appealed with rising urgency and a new does of humility for a $34 billion bailout. The lawmakers in both parties pressing the automakers to consider a pre-negotiated bankruptcy that they shunned the Big Three were contemplating a government-run restructuring that could yield results similar to bankruptcy. Also the congressional officials said one leading proposal to tap an already approved fund would set aside for making cars environmentally efficent wouldn't give the people who make the cars nearly as much money as they say they need. The auto executives pleaded with the lawmakers at a Capitol Hill hearing about the bailout. I think this is an important current event because of peoples jobs. Also, because the economy is bad. Katherine Walsh 6th Hour
The current event that I chose was about GM cutting more jobs in Orion Township. Unfortunatly there was more bad news about GM. They are planning to drop the third shift of car plants in Orion Township on February 2. One of the spokesman, Chris Lee said that GM is eliminating another 390 jobs when the third shift is cut. Over all GM has lost 1,175 employees total. GM’s sales dropped 41 percent in November after falling more than 40 percent in October. Sales in December also are expected to be weak.
I will being talking about the prices gas and how they are droping. Today as i was riding the bus home i gas at $1.59 for regular and E85 was at $1.49 per gallon. The article says that this price is a four year low and just this summer on July 17(five mounths ago) the price was into $4.00's. This fall is that of 72%, but the question is if it will fall under one dollor again? Last time that happened was in March 1999 and i don't know if that will happen anytime soon. But if you live in New York City the gas there is a little more than a dollor more then what i saw, hey its better than the $5 per gallon they were paying this summer. I just dont get it if its droping so much then why is it not going back up beacsue more people can afford to gas. The article says its beacasue of so many peolpe losing jobs and the bad ecomony.
The topic I choose in current news is O.J. Simpsons jail sentence. He is sentenced for a minimal of 15 years in prison. He is sentenced after proven guilty for hotel armed robbery. After a few moments of begging for forgiveness the judge simply said "It was much more than stupidity". He is currently 61 years old and was a football Hall of Famer. I thought this was a big story to follow. Hopefully he gets what he deserves because he wont be back out until hes 76 years old.
The united staetes is scared for hearing the talk about the koreans having a nuke. A top U.S. envoy said Friday he expects next week's negotiations aimed at ridding North Korea of atomic weapons to be tough. Pyongyang agreed last year to disable its nuclear reactor under a disarmament-for-aid pact. But they have recently denied having agreed to these cercumstances. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill told reporters after he wrapped up two days of preliminary consultations with North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan in Singapore. i find all this talk about nukes kind of scary. i would hate to have all of this happen at as time while we are at our weakest. haveing a nukelear war would be horrible because is wluld essentialy destroy mankind as we know it. thats the way i feel about any country having nukes in them. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,462824,00.html
Today I will talk about the sad news going around the net about facebook. The famous social websight has had some problems with worms! What kind you might ask, people have been hijacking facebook user accounts and doing what they please. People have been reporting complaints about spam messages being sent to their page, this worm is called Koobface. These people will infect various links on the page and when it sends it showes a fake error message telling that they needed an update. Well this "update" is not an update that your thinking of. This "update" will immediatly highjack your page with out you knowing. Many people don't find out until thir page gets spamem.
For today my blog will be on a 105 singer that thinks that Hitler is a good guy. Johan Heester is from Amsterdam. When he was a singer he was a Nazi Germany singer. One day he went on a Dutch talkshow and the host asked Heester what he thought of Aldof Hitler. In response Heester said "A good guy, he was." Later his wife corrected him and said that "He was the worst crimal ever". In response to that heester said " I know doll, but he was nice to me." Some years later he was booed off stage. And after the clips were aired his wife prosteded. "He was tricked into saying that." I don't know why I choose to do this for my blog. I hope that I get credit for it. I saw it on the comcast homepage. It doesnt say under entertain ment so I should get credit. Well my first choice was OJ but too many people did it. So this my blog now. Here is the URL that I got my article from...http://www.comcast.net/articles/music/20081205/EU.Netherlands.Nazi.Entertainer/ It does say music but after i read it I thought that it was more history. So that is why I picked it.
I chose to talk about OJ Simpson's sentance for up to 33 years in prison. He was charged for a hotel armed robbery. It says he was pleeding to be let go, and that he was sorry. Honestly, he is just sorry he got caught. I think he figured he could get away with this considering he was let free from murder. Him being put in prison is justice. The only thing i have to say is that karma can hit you when you atleast expect it. I never had interest in his past case, but its interesting to me that he got put in prison in the future when he escaped it in his past.
The current event I chose to do is about Casey Anthony killing her 3 year old daughter. Anthony was said to have waited a month before telling her parents that her daughter Caylee was missing. She claimed that she had dropped Caylee off with the babysitter. When police checked into the adress that she gave to them, it belonged to an apartment that had been vacant for weeks. The women Anthony named as her babysitter told police she didn't even know her. Police also found evidence of human decomposition and chloroform in the back of Anthony's car. Anthony's neighbor when interviewed said that she asked to borrow a shovel also. I think this is terrible how a mother can kill her own daughter. Prosecuters will not seek the death penalty but she will serve a live sentence in prison. If it was up to me, I would sentence her to death.
The discussion appealed to me in the current events was the amount of jobs that have been cut. Over 533,000 jobs and payrolls have been cut in November alone. This is one of the biggest job cuts since 1974. Over 10.3 million peopleare out of a job in the past year and have been forced to move. Auto companies are the main source of these job issues and continue to diminish. Banks that keep opening up have no point because many people are getting laid off there too. The unemployment rate hit 6.5% last month. This trend looks to keep going as more and more people lose their jobs. I think that we need to find a way to get out economy on track and give jobs back to people.
I will be discussing the fire at robinson middle school. It was in detriot that a fire happened on the schools second floor. Students were evacted and put on buses to go to a education center. There where only one small injury that a teacher faced but nothing big. There where police and fire crews there to help put out the fire. They are thinking that what caused the fire was a wire problem but no one is sure. Many kids ran out and waiting to be told what to do everyone made it out.
My current event is the burning down of Bob Sacks' house. I live on the same lake he does so i got to get up on the fire really close. Bob says that he doesn't know what cuased the fire. In class i said that it was a motor in his pool house. But my sorce says that Bob hadn't turned on the heater at all. I think he set his house on fire on purppose. I think he did it because he thought he was going to lose a lot of money with the big 3 if they didn't get the loan. So he burnt his house down so he could build a smaller house and pocket some cash.
For tonight's current event I will be discussing OJ Simpson. He will be serving at least 33 years in prison for multiple reasons. The first reason is, the kidnapping. The next reason is for armed robbery. During OJ's statement he was fighting back tears while saying "I didn't want to hurt anybody. I didn't know i was doing anything wrong...I stand before you somewhat confused." Also, he continued on for quite a while, by continuously apologizing. The judge did not accept his apology under any circumstances. Along, with the mixed up trials, there were also a lot of emotions with OJ's family. What daughter wants to see their father in jail.
For the blog today I will talk about the decresing of gas prices. As we all know, gas prices are decreasing slowly and are getting cheaper everyday. The reason to the sudden drop in prices is the jobs that are being lost in the United States. The National Bureau of Economic Research determined that since the US is in a reccesion, oil has fallen 25 percent. Researchers say that gas could reach 90 cents in January. The one thing I am confused about is why is diesel fuel still more exspensive that gasoline when diesel is cheaper to refine. I guess we will just have to wait and see what gas does in the next few months.
The current event i chose was in the Oakland Press which we read everyday in Journalism. The article who was about a girl who fell during a stunt at cheerleading. Imediatly the coaches knew something was wrong when she failed to tell them her address or name. Once she hit her head she lost her memory completly. She had no clue who her mom was or what a mom is. Once taken to the doctors, they decided that her memory will come back, but they have no clue when. This girl has been going though the days since the fall remeeting friends and family members. On top of that, she has to relearn simple things such as how to brush her teeth or remember to turn on the cold water too so she doesn't get burned. Her parents relized how bad it was when she only turned on the hot water and burned herself. Also, needing to learn math and other subjects. I fell so bad for this girl. It must be so hard and confusing. Kristen Pauly 6th hr.
hm. I think i'll write about Internet Retail Issues.
Found on: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122835660256478297.html?mod=yhoofront
Firms online are busting online retailers for underpricing namebrand goods, like sony products, for under the MAP[minimum advertised price].
"Manufacturers have been racing to enforce minimum-pricing policies since last year, when the Supreme Court ruled them to be legal, and not a violation of antitrust law. EBay and a group of other retailers and antitrust advocates are meeting Thursday in Washington to craft a strategy to overturn that ruling."
Many online firms like NetEnforcers are trying to get online retailers to not diminish a namebrand's products by selling them for about the same price. So, not only does the company feel good, but the seller/retailer has enough money for them to continue their business.
Although alot of people don't really mind the low prices, they take the oppertunity abuse the right to price high quality items under a specific low price. They should try to be a bit more honest and try not to make people fight over each other for an item. .....or maybe they just need to take math over again. ;)
China suggested to the United States today to fix our economic problems. I do agree with them that we need to get our financial issues straightened out, but China's going to tell us how to help our country? Really? That's ridiculous because they have beat us at the national issues race by a landslide. China is so overpopulated that Americans have started adopting their children. The only reason their economy is doing alright is because over 10 million tourists brought everything in thier country for the Beijing Olympics. Oh, and I think it's about time to cut the cord with Tibet, even the Dalai Lama has suggested to China to switch over to democracy. Yes America is in a terrible state but we have gotten out of worse situations before and with Obama going into office soon, I'm certain that many things will change for the better. http://www.manufacturing.net/News-China-Tells-US-To-Fix-Its-Economy.aspx Carolyn Newton Period 5
I'm gonna talk about Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg. Plaxico told every one that it was an accident and that he did it. Investigators were suspicious because how dumb do you have to be to shoot yourself in the leg. Antonio Pierce, a teamate of Plaxicos is being ivestigated for this weird shooting. Investigators checked his car for blood and gun residue. I think that Plaxico was shot by peice but i do think it was only and accident. Right now Plaxico is suspended without pay and he will probably be charged for carying a gun.
This really has nothing to do with sports, it's about a person in the NFL that shot himself. If i don't get points im gonna be mad because everyone wrote about O.J. and he was in the NFL.
I would like to take this time to blog on the auto companies. If this buyout doesnt go through, this will be a disaster. The leaders of the big 3 once again traveled to washington d.c. in cars not jets. They were very thourough and very organized with what they wanted to present. It was said that if we dont give them this money they bwill go bankrupt, and that will cause the government more money all together than the money needed for one buyout. I think that the government however trated the big three executives poorly. They were very stran and acted like smart asses about how they got here and how their planes are. Also, the unemployment line will grow if the buyout is a no go. It was layoff millions of americans who were striving to stay above water as it is. I think that this buyout must be worthy of our citizens because it will hurt thte economy if we do not get it. maybe the president elect will step in as a person for change because this middle class that he is trying to help will starve if this doesnt go through. However, i think this is out of his authority.
Mr. Kay, I read an article about job losses in america. In november, jobs were cut at the fastest rate in 34 years. Experts say that december could be even worse. With this recession, they say that job losses could continue all the way through half of 2009. Experts say december could be worse than novembers 566,00 lost jobs. In 2009, American has lost more than 1.9 million jobs. Two thirds of that number came in the last month. Ceo's are trying to get their companies more organized and efficient. I got my articel from cnn.com http://money.cnn.com/2008/12/05/news/economy/jobs_look_ahead/index.htm?postversion=2008120518 Jordan Blanzy 5th hr
Mr. Kay, I have chose to write about the job market. Experts say that the job market is bad (obviously) and it going to get worse. America is in a recession, so jobs are being lost right and left, and the fact that it will get worse sure does make me mad. In 2008, 1.9 million jobs were lossed, and that is a whole lot. People expect that 4 million jobs will be lost by next December. Records are also being broken this year because of all the losses. Heck, Temp agencies have lost 100,700 in the part month, whic they say is a record high. I don't find that to be good. This worries me becuase when I start looking for a job, it wuld be hard to get one and even keep one if I do. Also there would be full time pay-roll reducutions. This means that people that are high in the workplace will be even fired. This will also mean more families going down due to not so much money coming into the household. This of coarse is going to be hard for lots and I can bet that everyone will be affected somehow soon. Maybe they wont all be fired, but oh yeah, they will be affected. So this sucks. Everyone is goin' down.

The current event that I have choose to write about was in The Oakland Press. I'm writing about the Clarkston teen thats starting life over after a full memory loss. Lindsey Friend is a 15 year-old girl from Independence Township. One day at cheerleading practice, her group was trying a new stunt. Lindsey fell to the floor, and all she remembered was her body feeling all num and tingaly. Lindsey had fell so hard that it trigered her brain to lose all information. When she woke up, she couldn't remember anything. Lindsey's father said that she didn't even know what a "Mom" was. Lindsey is now starting to get her memory back. Almost like she is starting her life over.
Today I will write about the enormous amount of job losses in america in the past few months and what they expect in the up coming year. They say that in November the United States economy shed jobs at the fastest rate in 34 years. But, they expect December to be even worse. About 1.9 million jobs have been lost in the year of 2008, but they also expect 3- 4 million to be lost in the years of 2008 and 2009 added up. On thursday alone in the compaines AT&T, DuPont , Viacom, Credit Suisse and Avis totaled cut nearly 23,000 jobs. This year is on a pace to become the worst year for jobs ever, based on records that date back to 1939. Some see even steeper losses in 2009. But, on the bright side they dont think that the unempolyment rate will be as bad as it was during the great depression when it got to 25%.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/12/06/business/main4651796.shtml The big three were in dire need for some money. They were orininaly asking for 25 bilion dollars. They have agreed on $15 billion in loans, which is less than half of what the car companies were asking. The government reported the worst single month's job loss in 34 years - 533,000 jobs gone in November - and an unemployment rate of 6.7%. So the bialout was a good thing for the big three. White House had opposed any money to the automakers to come from the $700 billion bailout package that Congress had previously assigned to the Treasury Department. I think that the big three are going to do good and I hope they don't go out of busnises. Chris Reid 5th hour
the current even that i am going to talk about is the shoot out in the Philippines. a robbery gang armed with automatic weapons and grenades open fire on the Philippine police, leaving at least 16 people dead in a shoot out.Officers were following the suspects when the gunmen sensed the surveillance and opened fire, triggering the gunfight late Friday near a residential subdivision in suburban Paranaque city, metropolitan Manila police Chief Leopoldo Bataoil said. Among those killed were 12 suspected gang members and a police officer. Three people nearby, including a man and his 7yo daughter in a car passing through the area, were also killed.Three police officers were also wounded, including one who was in critical condition. at least three of the gunmen were able to escape in a car they commandeered after firing a grenade at a gatehouse at the entrance to the residential subdivision, wounding two guards.
Recently I have been watching the news. The most latest story has been the OJ case. He has been convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to nine or more years in prison. He raided a casion hotel in which he was convicted of twelve felonies. He said " I did not think I had done anything illegal at the time" The court said the evidence was overwhelming, there was no way he was innocent. I think this case is intresting because you think OJ would stay under the radar. Being accused of murder and all at an earlier time.
This evening I am writing about is on how a man was sent to jail over not paying child support for someone else daughter. He was sentenced to two years behind bars for failure of payment of $12,000. The biggest mistake of Walter Andre Sharpe's life was made in 2001, when he signed a letter addressed to Andre Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was already supporting four children from a previous. He ignored the letter. The judge ruled Mr. Sharpe was the father after none of the men showed up. After serving his time he got fired from his job. I think this was a very unfair judgment just because he was paying for four other children does not make the girl his. This kind of ties in with "Guilty until proven innocent"
The event that I am going to talk about is the even that Tyler Inman also talked about. People I know have been violated and invaded by people going through their facebooks. There is a website called Koobface that fools around with your informationm in an attemopt to get your personal info. People like this have absolutely no life and have nothing better to do than make peoples lives hell. Facebook is working hard to stop these hackers. Not only is this a problem on Facebook, but about everything in the US where people want to use other people to get things.
this article is about Obama's plan to get our country out of recession. he said he is planning to do a lot. he wants to get the country more technology active. by extending the internet and bring computers into schools more. also he is planning on creating jobs. i think this will help our country as a whole. it will push our knowledge of technology foward and get people into jobs.
mr....kay[bye]lol. kay lets get started, my topic is on amsterdam. MAny people love to go to this ancient city because of the brothels, sex shops and marijuana cafes, some people just like that kind of stuff. but the city is not happy with the effects they have made. So, their idea is to close of this, because its starting crime, to much for the city. they are clamping down on specificly, businesses that "generate criminality," and the coffee shops where marijuana is sold openly and freely. they also are targeting, peep shows and souvenior shopps, all generating by drug dealers. they have closed 26 "Coffee shops" all by the schools. and prostitution will be allowed only in a few areas. and in the netherlands marijuana is illegal, but they wont prosecute for small amounts, like the amount they have in the coffee shop, they can sell it to... i think its stupid if they dont allow it, but they can sell it. i got this off of cnn. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/12/06/amsterdam.cafes.brothels.close.ap/index.html
Recently O.J. Simpson a former NFL superstar was sentenced for a maximum of 33 years in prison. However he was issued the possibility of parole after 9 years. He was sentenced for a armed confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel in 2007. Before his sentence he gave the district judge a rambling and emotional apology. This apology was later not accepted by the district judge who said his action's were "much more than stupidity". This terrible acting by Simpson will land him for sure at least 9 years in prison. I think it is about this excuse for man is put into jail. He got away with killing his wife and then he had the nerve to write a book about how he would kill her. It is a shame that role models like him and other sports stars have to make such stupid decisions. And people wonder why are youth is becoming so messed up its because the people that are looking up to are setting bad examples.
Taylor wattles http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/12/05/oj.simpson.sentencing/index.html
A man takes a 90 minute train ride to new york weekly looking for work. The reason he does this is because his wife needs money for medication. She is paritaly disabled and has 15 difrent medications. He has been out of a job since febuary. Sadly he cannot support his family as well as he could. He usted to be a executive in the toy industry for 36 years. What surprises me is how he cant find work. If was an executive wouldnt he have some form of management skills or something. I also dont think he should have been laid off. His family needs that source of income his wife cant really do much the fact shes disabled and on 15 medications. His daughter is at college and on student loans. So there isnt really a solid source of income. They should have some sort of welfare or something. It just isnt right leaving a family like that without anything.
Obama made a speech today about his job-creation program. He said that it will be the largest investment in infrastructure since the Eisenhower's interstate highway. Just yesterday, a governemnt report showed that U.S. employers cut 533,000 jobs in the last month, which is the largest decline in 34 years. Obama plans to create or reserve 2.5 million jobs. Also, he wants to save more energy and make America more competitive in the world. He plans to upgrade the school buildings. He also says that if a state does not use their money soon enough to improve roads and bridges that they will lose it. Along with buildings and roads, Obama plans to upgrade the Internet infrastructure. The United Sates rates 15th in the world in broadband adoption, and he says that it is unnacceptable. The final part of his plan is upgrading helath care.He plans on starting his job-creation program as soon as possible once taking his position in office on January 20, 2009.
The current event i am blogging about today is about five former blackwater security gaurds who are currently going to surrender to the FBI about something that happened Iraq. What happened was there was a shooting that happened in 2007 and left 17 iraqis dead. Which they were involved in. I think this is important because they are finally coming out that they actually were invloved in this and not keep hinding it. Also i think they should of done this earlier but hopefully it won't hurt there punishment that much what ever it might be. Another thing is that there might be another person and i am wondering why he isn't justs admitting that he was part of it to. I think that the other people should rat him out because this is a big deal considering that it killed 17. Last thing is i beleive they should get a big sentence in prison. Source: CNN.com
6th My current event is from the Oakland Press. A 15 year old girl lost all her memory after an accident at her JV cheerleading practice. When she fell, a trainer was called in. When the trainer asked her where she lived and her phone number, the girl could not answer. From there she was sent to the hospital. She lost all memory and is slowly gaining it back. She says that its difficult to meet so many people who know her but she does not know. She is going back to school, and spending her time after school to catch up on the things she had learned. She has to re-learn math at home because she first needs to learn the basics. She plans on returning back to her old hobboes, but cheerleading will not be one of them.
On the 6th of this month police arrested two men identified as Tausif Rehman,28, and Mukhtar Ahmed Sheikh, 35, for buying cell phone cards using forged documents. Officials now want to investigate whether the gunmen in Mumbai used these cards to make calls during their attacks last week. Jawed Shamim, the deputy commissioner of police in Calcutta, told news agency Reuters. Mumbai police officials had earlier traced some of the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) cards used in the Mumbai attack to the state of West Bengal, whose capital is the city of Calcutta. No one should have to resort to killing innocent people to make there point herd. I fell that any person that resorts to that is the lowest of the low. I found this at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/06/AR2008120600819.html?hpid=topnews
Mr.Kay, For this blog I will talk about an accident that happend in a christmas parade. The article said that a ten year old girl was killed in a christmas parade in Buemount. One of the officer's said that the girl had been sitting in the back of a pick-up truck that was towing a trailer filled with even more children. They also said she had been jumping on and off of the truck and had been warned to stop. As she attempted to jump again from the truck she tripped and was run over by the trailor causeing serious head injuries. I think this is a lesson for everyone including kids, that we should listen to what we are told to do. If the girl had listened and stopped jumping out of the truck the accident would have probally been preventable.
A 15-year-old was shot Saturday night in Exarchia, a downtown Athens district of bars, music clubs and restaurants. Two days of rioting began because of this mess. I guess it went all anarchy in this town because of the kid getting shot. I wonder why that never happens in Michigan. The anarchists attacked banks, high-end shops, diplomatic vehicles and foreign car dealerships in late-night fire-bombings that rarely cause injuries. I don't really understand the situation at all but It seemed interesting and it's a most discussed issue on yahoo right now ahahahah. But yeah when a kid gets shot in Detroit we don't go all anarchy. Hmm. Btw I think this all happened in Greek or something idk.
On December 7th the Hubble telescope spotted many hundreds of thousands of stars in the global cluster M13. M13 is the brightest and best-known global cluster in the northern sky. It also has some of the oldest stars in the universe. It is also home to over 100,000 stars located at a distance of 25,000 light years. These stars are packed so closely together that they will spend their entire lives whirling around in the cluster. Also, they are so crowded that at times they can sometimes clash into each other and form a new star called a "blue starggler". Finally, cluster M13 is one of nearly 150 known globular clusters surronding our Milky Way galaxy.
I will talk about the decresing of gas prices.

The article I read is from http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081203/ap_on_re_us/wal_mart_death.

The current I chose was the the car bombing in Pakistan.

"He was tricked into saying that."

Once taken to the doctors, they decided that her memory will come back, but they have no clue when. This girl has been going though the days since the fall remeeting friends and family members. On top of that, she has to relearn simple things such as how to brush her teeth or remember to turn on the cold water too so she doesn't get burned.

With this recession, they say that job losses could continue all the way through half of 2009. Experts say december could be worse than novembers 566,00 lost jobs. Mr. Kay,
I have chose to write about the job market.

The government reported the worst single month's job loss in 34 years - 533,000 jobs gone in November - and an unemployment rate of 6.7%. So the bialout was a good thing for the big three.

My current event is from the Oakland Press.
Mr.Kay,
For this blog I will talk about an accident that happend in a christmas parade.
