In my life I want to be as sucessful as possible.I see college as a priority.In school my family cares very much and expects good grades.Sometimes it gets stressful but it all works out in the end.I want to go somewhere out of state for college but am still not sure yet.I hope to have another good school year and keep up with my work.

I value education for the sake of learning. I've been trying to find out what I want to do for the rest of my life. I've never had good grades in school, but I found out that to be what I want to be later on down the road, I have to be educated. To me, learning opens up a whole new world to help me better myself. It will also lead me down which career path that is best for me. Along with what I experience here, the people around me will affect my learning experience. My parents expect at least C's from me, and I want to go past that and show them that I can do better.
I highly value education. In my life I would like to go far and accomplish great things. When I am finnished with high school I want to go to Oakland Community College and become a R.N. My mom also expects good things from me. As do my grandmother and grandfather. It really encouraged me to go to O.C.C. to become a R.N. because my mom is.

In my life my parents and I value education very highly and that's just how it's always been. In school I try my very best and nothing less than that and if that requires that I work hard I still do it. This is what my parents expect and they say as long as I try my hardest the grade doesn't matter. Just like both my parents I too plan to go to college, but not sure yet what for. I'm not sure what I am going to do in college but it will come with time. After finishing high school I hope to find a nice college, and get a degree. I see high school as a end to an new beginning.

I believe education is the foundation of a just society. Without education the world would simply fall apart. Therefore, I think it is a very valuable aspect of my life as well as my family's. As much as enjoy plying football, lacrosse, hanging out with friends and doing many other fun things as most people do, my schoolwork is at the top of my priority list. I do not particularly like coming to school, but I know that when I walk through the doors in the morning, I need to try my hardest to become successful in life in the future. So far, in my many years attending school, I have gotten excellent grades. I'm hoping someday my straight A's will get me into a great college. There I will become a Mechanical Engineer and move on the lead a successful life for myself.

To me education is very valuable to me and my family. Without education these days you can hardly find a job(Unless you like to work at McDonald's). The demand for a college degree is high right now and I believe it is necessary to have to be successful for future workers.My parents have always expected me to have B's or Higher. Any lower and I would get grounded for a month or so. Right now I just like learning new things. To me education is power. The person that has more knowledge I think has the upper hand. I plan on going into Computer Sciences at R.I.T in New York.

In my life education means a lot, that goes for my family too. First of all, education helps me succeed in times when i am confused and also in sports which probably surprises some. I myself value my education greatly, although i may not like it, or that i may not always use what i have learned, I do value the education i receive. I believe that this was brought upon me when i was young, when my parents had always told me you need to go to college. I also found another contributing factor to be that they both successfully graduated from college. With one graduating from adrian college, and the other graduating from Michigan state, I knew we had a very valuable look on education, but nothing that would drain so much cash away. So with every time of me being reminded that i am going to college, I remember the very high values I and my parents have on education. Now something i know a lot of people do not think about, nor do I as much, is that we have the opportunity for a free education, and that in other places in the world, this is not available, or the education may come with a price. I try to remember that as much as i can whenever i am in a schooling setting, and what i think to myself is: I must treat this education with as much respect as possible, because others will never have the opportunity to become as successful as me, or anyone in this school for that matter.

The reason it is so important to me is because my parents want me and my brothers to be as successful as possible in life, and getting an education is what is going to make that happen. In my life education is an important role. Not going to college would be a big mistake. Without a degree your chance of getting a job (even at Mc donald's) can be hard. If you do find a job theres a slim chance your incom can support a family. At my age working for an education is my job and im going to continue working until I get where I want in life. Education and academics have played a secondary role in my life. As any 15 yr ol would, they would like to focus on a sport rather then on school. But, in freshman year, i was not as successful as my parents would have liked. Now, i am forced to do good because privledges are getting removed from my life if i do not. Now, as i realize the big picture in life, i would like to rely on academics to get me somewhere in life instead of athletics. Although sports may be a more enjoyable and rewarding path to follow at the time, i think that the academic aspects will be grater in the long run. look forward to becoming a better student to leave academics as a fall back in life.

I think that education is only as important as the person allows it to be. If a person doesnt want to be educated at all then it wont be. For me, I think its important, but not as important as my parents and teacers claim it to be. My parents really push me to be a good student and have been telling me for the past year that I am "underacheiving". I dont believe I am, I jus think that I am doing as much as I think is necessary, even though I know that I could do better then I am doing because some thing are just more important tome now then school is.

Growing up in a large family opinions differ from right to left. But one feeling that will never change, is the value of education. To be honest getting good grades was never really my thing for the last nine years. But as my sister recently left to attend the college of her dreams, Michigan i realized something. That if you get the good grades and do all that you can to acheive in school nothing can stop you from your dreams. Although this is probably the cheesiest thing i have ever said in a while it holds true. My brothers constantly reminding me that you dont have to work so hard in life for money if you have an education. Although I am a teenager who is constantly fighting to get the last word in, i always listen intently to my brothers stories of how if he had just done better in school things might of been different.Im not sure what this year will bring or if i can promise i can be your best student. But i can assure you i will always take your advice and try my best. because hopefully one day i will get into the college of my dreams and really apreciate the true value of an education.
To me i'm half in half on the whole idea of education. For one thing, i want to have a very happy and successful life. But to do that i have to go through school. Now school i could care less about it. I'm notmuch ofa homework person, meaning that i'll do it but i'll hate it no matter what. My parents care very much about my education. Education is one of the most important things you need. I think that if some of my family members were really serious about it they would be more succesful. Although I have to say some of the things we learn in school are ridiculous. I'm not trying to be funny but I know we will not use the random things we do at school. Like diagramming sentences, for teaching it to me for two years I KNOW I will never use it in real life. Don't get me wrong i need to learn a lot more and I am definately looking forward to going to college. I think we should be taught the things we need to know when we grow up and only what we need to know for the career we are looking to do.

My parents are very supportive of school and education because they believe that it is going to help me alot in my future. But to be honest I really could care less about school. In my family, education is valued and held at a high standard. My dad is very helpful with school and expects us to try do our best. My gradpa went to Harvard University and graduated with a 4.0. He expected my mom to hold up good grades just as she now expects it of me. I strive to do well in school, and to be accepted into a good college. Getting an A is not as important as doing my best. To me education is impotant but not to the extent of you HAVE to have all A's all the time. I think that as long as you are trying your best in class, turning in your homework, participating , and getting decent grades then you are on the right track. My family values education as a big priority and they belive that to do anything in life, go to collage, or any type of school you need to have good grades. I don't diagree because I know that, That is true and that if you want to get anywhere in life you need to have some type of education. But i also think of education as more then just school smarts, because there is more to know then what they just teach you in school. I think that the things you need to know for your every day life are at a diffrent value from you school smarts because, what you learn in school will get you to places, but the other stuff they don't teach you is also important.

The value of education in my life is somewhat loose. I learn things as i go as i need them. While most people like high-paying jobs, you dont need much money to get by in life. Theres no need to buy extras if you dont need them.
